Did we know Mr. Weinstein offices in West Hartford? I thought he was a New York attorney. So he’s a local CT. as well.
So we have three lawyers that don’t speak. Dr. Farber’s civil and family lawyers, and Mr. Bowman. All complying with gag order? Whether clear or not clear to NP and FD?
Hmm. So NP thinks he’s above the Order. And let’s FD ramble, as well. Basing his violations of the gag order on the “unclear” language. Subject to different interpretations. 3 out of 4 lawyers get it. Wonder why NP thinks he can distinguish his reasoning from the other three well know and highly respected members of the CT bar. How did he skip over the appellate level of judges? I’m missing something here, aren’t I? He must have had some point to take it right up for emergency consideration.
Last few years, I believe courts have been hesitant to make new laws with decisions. Rather, they seem to push the legislatures to write new laws. Then allow courts to interpret the newly written and enacted laws.
Is that the trend in CT as well?
Why is CT so liberal with such a strong insurance industry? Are the Ivy League Schools the liberal bastions? Seems like it was once a great state. Financially strong, poised for continued growth. What happened? Are there too many mouths to feed and not enough worker ants? A few rich people can’t support everything that needs to be paid for to keep the place running. The state’s tried that. Taxing everything for revenue. Maybe they should cut expenses like most families do when income doesn’t cover everything.
Drive old cars. Eat at home. Scale back vacations and wardrobe updates. You know, the basic stuff. Balance the budget. So there’s money for food for the poor. And education/ training for the poor. Affordable or subsidized housing so no one is living under a bridge in the middle of winter. Health care for those that cannot afford it. Basic stuff. Prenatal. Child care. Shots. A hand up not a hand out.
What IS REALLY going on out there?
If crime is organized, call the families together. And tell them back off a bit. You’re taking so much, you’re killing the goose that’s laying the golden eggs. Move some of your organizations off shore. Just cut CT some slack.
I’ve advocated for YEARS to legalize a lot of vice. Not popular but practical solutions. Portugal has recently tried the experiment, and meeting with success. Our Canadian neighbors are going to attempt the same on limited bases.
IMHOO. Fighting crime is costing kabillions of dollars. Crimes of consumption. Drugs. Prostitution. Gambling.
Not murder. Not violence.
Alright. Snip this if you feel up to it. I think it’s worth a try.

Oh, Weinstein speaks when it's important! Have you seen this interview? He covers a lot of ground and does it quite eloquently, imo.

I do think this was a real possibility even though others here disagree. What puzzles me though that if FD wanted to set up EE why not just swap out the seats himself or ditch the truck or set it on fire someplace and give EE a new truck? FD seemed not only stupid but cheap IMO in terms of the way he dealt with EE and on so many levels the entire exchange noted in AW2 made zero sense from the standpoint of someone that used someone else vehicle without their permission and PS used the vehicle as part of an abduction/murder plot. Entire situation was nuts IMO and so absolutely NOT SMART of FD IMO. MOO

I think the problem FD had re: EE, was that he way underestimated him, and the possibility that EE could, and did, trip him up. He really expected to be able to just bulldoze him into absolute submission-but it didn’t work out that way. He just thought EE was too stupid and unimportant to be a significant factor. FD was delusional in that sense, too.

@Cape Winelands Guy, I have to find this MT foray into the carpet business quite interesting. Thanks for your updates and I am curious if you would let us all know what you think about the MT carpets in the event you purchase one? I looked at the pictures MT posted on Insta for the rugs and honestly to my eye they appear indistinguishable from the Chinese equivalents that go for $35-40/carpet wholesale. If she has some kind of drop shipping arrangement with a chinese company for the carpets that is not a bad margin IMO. BUT, I still hold with the theory that there is little about this closed insta MT company that has anything to do with carpets and everything to do with communicating outside the bounds of the no contact order as well as moving money around between friends/family and FD. The idea of having a closed insta makes zero sense from a marketing standpoint which leads me to the conclusion that its all simply a sham. MOO
I'm not sure if MT's business was ever intended to supply rugs that you can buy in handfuls of other places (at a lower cost) or if it was just a pipe dream all along, though I agree that MT's insta has EVERYTHING to do with communicating outside of the bounds. There was a posting 'pause' from around a month before Jennifer's disappearance until July 1st, when a post appeared again. I find that to be curious as well.

The posts feature more about horses, scenery, coffee, tea, and flowers than cowhide rugs. I obviously don't know if FD and MT have an escape plan to run off to Argentina, and the messages/posts that I've seen since going private are even less obvious than when she was public...and perhaps she is just being more careful? Is it because she knows LE is onto her? Does she now have to keep up the ruse of having a business?

When she does feature a rug, there is no style number, cost, size, full picture, or direction on how to order...all important factors when one wishes to purchase an item listed on your 'business' account, IMO. I will say her hashtags are down in count, and she appears to be enjoying wine, tea, and coffee quite a bit lately. MOO

ITA....FD didn't appear to have any respect for EE.

Begin Quote:
I think it shows also how little FD thinks of anyone who's not him. He OWNED his employee. There for his bidding. He doesn't even seem to calculate differentially that his employee might be able to make calculations of his own. Like with Jennifer, he seems to believe people are not human beings, capable of thought, action, opposition. FD banks on people doing as FD says they should do.

I wonder, as it all played out, and largely mostly outside EE's knowledge of the larger events, if he ever felt like he could countermand FD on any level or order. Truth, he may have kept the Tacoma seats to recycle, into a different vehicle someday. Whether he believed at the time that they'd hold key DNA evidence or not, it is a LE windfall that he didn't listen to FD, did not dispose of them.

FD seems to be losing his velvet-jacket way of controlling people.

I'm waiting on the day when the CT court brings the law down hard.

It's time.

MOO[/QUOTE]

End Quote.

Somehow lost the Quote box above:

In response,

AW#2 states that during an LE interview, EE told them he 'decided to himself to keep the seats in the event they may be needed by police'.

In AW#2, we learn EE has the replacement seats on Friday, May 31st, but has not yet exchanged them in his Red Toyota Truck.

The seat exchange was done the next day, on the weekend of June 1st, which also happens to be the 'Date of Arrest' for FD/MT.

At that point, EE Absolutely Knew to keep those seats for LE.

heres a better pic of it for those who want to see

Notice on the back left side. There are two hinges, that allow for a back door to swing open. There are hinges on both sides of this type of container, just like french doors on a house, that completely open up the back so that someone could just walk right in.

This is a 6 foot Tall dumpster that most people would not be able to see Over into, much less be able to toss something heavy Over into the container.

Therefore, the hinged doors on the back allowing for ease in dumping any and all debris on a construction site. We had one of these 6ft tall 'tanks' in our driveway, when we had a new roof installed.

IMO.

That’s a roll-off dumpster. The opposite narrow end can have double swinging doors that allow access to literally walk into it.

Oops, Did not see your post before posting the same.

If someone TOLD me to change the seats in my vehicle - boss or no boss and regardless how bad I needed the job - I'm afraid that my boss would've heard some choice words from my mouth. And the next thought I had would've been along the line of WHY is he asking me to do this, and then I would've asked him WHY he WAS asking me to do this.

JMO

In AW#2 we see that EE Did in Fact ask FD 'What's up with my truck?' And 'What's with the seats?'

FD tells EE that there might be a hair in EE's truck from when FD hugged JD on Mother's Day.

IMO.

JD lived literally just around the corner from the school, less than 5 minutes drive. It is not that the school was “on the way” to NY. This is also a consideration in thinking about how FD approached the house. It must have been through the woods, otherwise there would have been serious risk of him being seen by her or the kids on the street on the short school run. Even with drop off line traffic and backup, his timing would have had to have been very precise if he came up Welles Lane.

I agree that a mom with 5 kids age 13 and under would just return home after drop off to get ready for the day. And wear my favorite comfy t-shirt for drop off...

Also, regarding the garage door opener, early media photos of Welles Lane showed red evidence tape on the edges of two garage doors. This could be from fingerprints, etc.
Keep in mind that when the STBX of KM reported a guy with a crow bar and gas can lurking at her house, KM claimed he had hired the man to fix the garage door six months earlier. FD likely had no problem figuring out a plan to get into the garage. (NP also at one point said LE thought FD entered through a back door).

MOO.

Bingo. He went through the woods.

With the newer built houses its typical to have a regular garage door or doors in addition to overhead doors or some rear or side entrance to a mud room area.

The wooded area to the rear of Welles is denser IMO than it appears on the satellite view. We also don't know the security situation of the house to the rear of Welles. Newer security systems have both cameras and motion sensors. I am not sure how possible it would be to carry a 120lb body through those woods? It might be possible to be dropped off or enter the Welles property from the woods to the property rear but I am not sure to leave Welles carrying a body in daylight would have been likely.

The other issue is that AW2 was unclear as to whether in the timeframe at Welles whether any vehicle left Welles or other vehicle arrived at Welles. So, we don't know if any accomplice arrived/left Welles or even if FD while at Welles left the property and returned. We simply have the info that JD arrives at Welles and FD is believed to have left Welles with the body of JD.

Yes, AW1 was clear that a 4 mile stretch of the Albany area was involved in the FD/MT ride in the Raptor.

It's a thick track of woods. I saw it in person. And trees/shrubs would have been in full bloom in May. There were neighbors abutting her property with working cameras. They definitely picked up something.

Thanks for information. Did you notice if any of the homes had cameras pointing to the back of their properties and/or the woods?

Reality check: A dead body is difficult to maneuver. While JFD might have weighed ~ 120 lbs or less & perhaps FD might have "carried" her once upon a time, without living muscle control; he had a nightmare waiting for him.
IMO & experience, most folks have no concept of the strength & efforts required to manually kill another human. They also no idea of the physical "mess" that can be associated with a violent death. Moving a body be it a "fresh kill" or not frequently results in a massive purge, a huge surprise for the neophyte.

She hired guards when she moved in 2017
I don’t when she let them go
probably thought he’d leave her alone once MT moved in

She did? I don't recall that but I so wish she had kept them.

Cutting through the woods from Indian Waters behind the house would have also shortened the distance from Waveny significantly, if he was on foot or bike. And would also have cut down on his being spotted along Frogtown by other parents heading to school (versus him cutting behind the woods from the empty lot on Frogtown/Welles.)
Did you check out the woods behind from Indian Waters and the likelihood he cut through there?

I hate that she feared what he was capable of....no one should have to live with that kind of fear.

If only he'd just taken his sad self back to Greece. Build a new life for himself. And leave her alone, to live hers.

I know, I hate that, too :(
And I agree with the rest.

IMO.
One thing that we can be certain of is that FD did not plan to get JDs blood on the seat of EEs red truck. Whether FD planned to pin the crime on EE or simply planned to use EEs red truck to evade detection, once the blood got on the seat, FD had a problem on his hands and his plan went awry. He likely knew that time was running out to deal with the problem, and I imagine that when he saw on the live news on the 31st that LE had fire trucks, ambulance, and search dogs scouring Albany Avenue (this was around 2:30 pm) he full-on panicked. AW2 states that it was on the 31st that FD “offered” the Porsche seats to EE, after pestering EE all week to change the seats and/or sell the truck.

Once LE pulled the doctored plates out of the storm drain that afternoon and ran them on the computer in the police car, they probably high-tailed it over to 4JC. Where the warrant states, they found EE in MTs Cherokee with the Porsche seats in back. The arrest warrant doesn’t state the time they encountered this, but we see in news coverage that by around 6pm when LE is escorting FD and MT to Litchfield and searching 4 J.C., the white Cherokee arrives at 4 J.C. with MT daughter and MT mother so there must have been a time gap.

LE took EEs red truck on 6/6, but didn’t get the search warrant to test the seats for blood until 6/20 (per AW2). So there was an unfortunate lag in time there before the story started to piece together. This suggests that the amount of blood on the seat had been relatively well cleaned by then, if LE took the truck on 6/6 and saw an obvious blood stain you think they would have gotten the warrant for testing more quickly.

MOO.

On the issue of the 'Handyman with Something to Hide" question....

Look at the characters we have met in this case that are in any way connected to FD! We actually should invent some kind of 'shade index' for his entire crew in order to define just how shady they might be!

The building industry IMO is rife with game playing whether its for taxes or other scams etc. FD/FORE seemed to deal exclusively with subcontractors and who know what or if any games went on with the subcontractors used. We also don't know what games FD asked his subcontractors to do on his behalf either? It seems logical to think that FD worked VERY hard to extract the maximum profit he could from each house built and if he weren't doing the work himself (he owned no tools....) then who exactly would do what he needed done but his subs?

So, do I think that EE knows a lot about FORE and its business practices and in particular quite a bit about FD? Yes, absolutely I do. IMO doesn't value honesty and integrity so it seems a good bet to believe that he didn't want this in any of the subs working on the properties. EE also knew about FD infamous temper so he probably wasn't anxious to test FD patience on the issue of the car seats as well. My guess is that we will hear some amazing FD temper stories when/if EE ever hits the witness stand.

MOO
“Shade Index”. Hahahahaha Hahahaha
Has got to be one of my all time favs of these threads. Right up there with Odyssey of Stupidity.
Keeping in the weeds reading. A lot of rehash rethink of threads and threads ago. Interesting to read new posters spin and old posters rehash. “Puzzling” (a la afitzy) out some tangents while we wait. I’m telling you, this is worse then waiting for those final hours of childbirth. Jiminy Crickets would someone arrest someone???? Please????? at this point, I’m all for MT first, who I believe is floating up to her eyeballs in feces soaked “rugs”, so FD can watch and shiver and shake in fear and denial. LE, I’m a counting on ya!!!
Before the holidays please.
