wonder why so much less ? Is MT’s 6 Million as well ?
Yes, MT is 2 mil as well. Probably because FD is the one charged with actual murder,

Oh no, so much for the gag order.....the silence over the past couple of months from Atty. P. was such a blessing IMO and now this.....we are back to "Gone Girl"! Doesn't matter that AW3 clearly put a stake through the heart of "Gone Girl"...Atty. P. still thinks its possible.

Quote from above article:

An attorney for Dulos, Norm Pattis, said the arrest warrants revealed a “shocking lack of confidence by the state." He also suggested that Dulos’s wife may still be alive.

“We categorically deny that Mr. Dulos had any involvement in the disappearance of his wife, Jennifer. And we defy the state to prove that she is in fact dead,” Pattis told reporters Tuesday evening. “If this is all the state’s got, we wonder why it bothered.”

$140,000 non-refundable if he can't manage a property as collateral.
I can’t imagine a bondsman (person) helping him out ... as it appears he’s already tried to flee .

he used a bike
someone here said that
I forgot who
In the warrant! He had an old-school, goat-horns handled French bike, cherished thing on hooks in the garage. Someone riding a bike identified as likely this one, wearing a hoodie covering his face, was found on film on the 24th between the Waveny lot and Welles.
PG (who endured, I believe, 6 hours of interviews) remembered that the bike disappeared that weekend.

LE did actually recover parts of Helle Crafts' body. I wonder if any sign of Jennifer will ever emerge beyond her blood.
Lime actually preserves the body. It’s mainly used to cover the smell of putrefaction. In 2012 a study was done using pigs. And the pigs who used lime, bodies were preserved in 6 months. The pigs with no treatment were decayed to the bone.

Probably because in the end he didn’t have the balls to carry it out. The idea definitely made him high. JMO

Is this where the clear ponchos make sense?
If she was dismembered, they could have been used then. If they were taken to the scene, could have been to prevent DNA evidence. I just find it hard to fathom that FD would go to WL expecting to make a bloody mess. JMO.

And after reading may have saved her life. Just trying to grasp all of this.
Here is SA article that summarises the 'low points' of the KM divorce action.

Former Fotis Dulos attorney accused of spousal rape, wanting his wife ‘dead’

Quotes from article:
Mawhinney and his wife have also been involved in a bitter divorce.

South Windsor police charged Mawhinney in January with sexual assault in a spousal or cohabiting relationship, second-degree unlawful restraint and disorderly conduct, according to online state judicial records.

He has pleaded not guilty to those charges, which are pending in Hartford Superior Court.

Mawhinney’s wife told police about Fotis Dulos’ contact with her on June 26. She said Fotis Dulos initially contacted her May 16 and “had stated that Mawhinney told him that he wanted (the victim) back and that he loved her.”

Fotis Dulos acted as an intermediary over the next several days trying to iron out the couple’s marital problems, according to the warrant.

She told police she went with a friend to Max’s Oyster Bar in West Hartford May 19 planning to have Fotis Dulos “coordinate a FaceTime meeting with her and Mawhinney,” the warrant said.

At the restaurant, Fotis Dulos showed her a letter Mawhinney had written bemoaning the difficulties in his marriage, according to the warrant. Fotis Dulos also invited the woman and her friend to his Farmington home, but they declined, the warrant said.

Mawhinney’s wife said she told Fotis Dulos she would not meet Mawhinney unless both of their lawyers were present, according to the warrant.

“She stated that when she told Dulos this, he paid the bill and left the bar abruptly,” the warrant says.

The woman told police Fotis Dulos contacted her again the next day, saying Mawhinney was willing to meet with both of their lawyers present. But the warrant says Fotis Dulos called again a day later, saying Mawhinney was angry she had used a credit card and was considering filing charges, so the woman told him to forget the meeting.

The woman told police “that she was in fear for her safety,” the warrant says.

“She reported that she believed it was suspicious that Dulos had such a sudden vested interested in her relationship with Mawhinney,” the warrant says. “She stated that she felt she was being ‘baited’ and was uncomfortable with the fact that Dulos kept inviting her back to his residence.”

She suspected Fotis Dulos was indebted to Mawhinney and “she believed Dulos was working on behalf of Mawhinney to get rid of her.”

“She stated that she believed that Mawhinney wanted her dead,” the warrant said.

Fotis Dulos has not been charged in connection with the case. A message was left with his attorney Norm Pattis seeking comment Thursday.

Is KM even able defend himself via turning on a current or former client or would this fall under attorney client privilege? If he spills the beans or rats them out even truthfully would he be disbarred? Can he even claim attorney client privilege as I’m not sure he is an attorney of record for this particular case but has represented FD in other cases. again, thanks!
Two criminals do not enjoy an "attorney client" privilege when planning a murder.

Ankle bracelet. $140,000. Somebody will help if he has the money.

I knew it! I knew he would pull an I95 or similar 'get away!'

It's a double edged sword, yes he would have kept coming back for more money; to add insult even after the Farbers kept paying him, he also would have eventually tainted the children trying to turn them against their mother with 'poor dad' and 'we love dad' and 'you are mean to Dad' even if that meant once they turned 18 they could see him/whenever they wanted. He would have been terrorizing them for money for YEARS...

THAT SAID, the financial disaster FD was in; JD filed for divorce, no more money thru Jennifer, no more money from her now passed father, no access to his children's money, and her mother suing him for the money he owed her deceased husband...it was quite literally a recipe for a mad man to commit murder..
I agree. FD was cornered like a rat. He had no financial means to get himself out of his hell hole of trying to sell his cookie cutter mega mansions with no imagination, accruing taxes and carrying costs everyday. He was a raging maniac because he was going to have to go to court and show his finances days after JD disappeared - brutally murdered. This was a planned act he made her suffer - I guarantee. Justice needs to be served, for JD and her family. He has to be convicted but it will not bring her back.

Well it’s allegedly his childhood bike made in France that he brought with him to America. What are the odds that a Mercier bike just happened to be in NC on route to JDs house on the morning of 5/24

I’ve never heard of a Mercier Bike, so certainly wouldn’t expect to see one

Next to a grown man riding a pink bicycle with streamers and a basket in front, this genius couldn’t have picked a more conspicuous bike.

Atleast he wore a hoodie.

HC version of the KM story. IMO heavily influenced by Atty. P. commentary as these comments don't show up in any other paper so far as I can tell. But IMO the misogony is all 'vintage Pattis' that we have seen so many times before in this sad case.

Warrant: Man under order to avoid contact with estranged wife arrested after Fotis Dulos reaches out to her

Quotes from article:

Mawhinney’s lawyer, Lee Gold of Hartford, did not respond to a request for comment. Dulos’ lawyer, Norm Pattis, called the wife’s claims fanciful.

“Really? It sound like she read the stories about the Jennifer Dulos disappearance and wanted her 15 minutes of fame," Pattis said Wednesday. "That’s just ridiculous.” [BBM]

“She believed it was suspicious that Dulos has such a sudden vested interest in her relationship with Mawhinney,” the warrant reads. “She stated she felt she was being ‘baited’ and was uncomfortable with the fact that Dulos kept inviting her back to his residence. She stated that she believed Dulos was ‘indebted’ to Mawhinney and that she believed Dulos was working on behalf of Mawhinney to get rid of her. She stated that she believed that Mawhinney wanted her dead.”

Mawhinney was charged July 5 with violating a protective order after authorities concluded using Dulos to contact his wife violated a court order. That case is pending in Superior Court in Manchester. Mawhinney also has a sexual assault case pending in Superior Court in Hartford. He is free on bail in both cases.

I reluctantly watched on social media and got annoyed but then started to notice all the audience comments and realized my opinions had already been spoken a hundred times over so I didn't need to chime in. Consensus seems to be that NP is just trying to do his job but any defense of FD is being taken with a grain of salt at this point. The opening about how terribly he and poor FD were treated today with no notice was irony at its best - I mean what kind of notice was JFd given before his client surprise assaulted her in her own garage?!
