I hope cops are keeping an eye on KMs ex. He’s a dangerous evil person. How did cops not know where he was. They knew charges were being filed. I figured they’d keep an eye on him. Wow! Can’t find him????

FD charged with kidnapping also. Oh God. Does this mean she was assaulted in the garage but still alive when FD left her house? He killed her later?

Hmm, The 4 am (ish) noise at the house the 25th, nailing her into some kind of a barrel...I think we will know all of it very soon...

Capital murder makes the defendant eligible for the death penalty
I think they are reporting it incorrectly. "Capital murder" is no longer the law in CT -- there is no death penalty in that state. Seems it's now called murder with special circumstances. If FD is charged and convicted of that it's life with no parole. Connecticut Abolishes the Death Penalty

Capital murder makes the defendant eligible for the death penalty

I thought CT didn’t have death penalty? Old post here on WS. Voted out not long ago.
I hope this case puts death penalty back on the books in CT. Won’t help in this case, but for future cases and especially domestic violence cases, death penalty needs to be made the law. Even though death penalty cases take way longer for appeals. At the end of the day, the perps face death.

Well, I guess NP can use the FD trial, appeals, etc. funds for a great retirement. Too bad. I’d love for Farbers to recover everything right now with some kind of a judicial or banking, IRS, hold on all FD “assets” that is left before FD and Associates drain the funds.

Connecticut Kidnapping Laws - FindLaw

First Degree: Class A felony.

  • It applies when a defendant:
  • Abducts a person for ransom;
  • Abducts a person for the purpose of sexually abusing or inflicting physical injury;
  • Abducts a person in the commission of a felony;
  • Abducts a person for the purpose of terrorizing the person or a third party;
  • Abducts a person to interfere with a government function; or
  • If a firearm is used in commission of a kidnapping, the charge becomes kidnapping in the first degree with a firearm.
Kidnapping is often interpreted in other cases I've seen as simply preventing a person's freedom to get away. JD was trapped in her garage and that can be interpreted as kidnapping. JMO.

Agree, I was just going to post this. She is in danger.

KM's life has unraveled recently, and if he is running, it may not end well for him. Or end well, depending on one's perspective.

I have to assume his ex-wife is being protected at this point.

Unfortunately, CT abolished the DP back in 2012.

HC Report from our favourite local 'reposter' Dave Altimari complete with quotes from Atty. P. and filed hours before the other press reports too. Wonder if Atty. P. and DA cooked up this article last night or weeks ago? Unbelievable IMO but placing it here as the HC is technically considered a 'Press Outlet'....

Posted very early on that JFD awoke/came out of coma from assault that morning dogs were barking and was kicking sides of construction debris container to attract attention.
I hope not.... Better that she was deceased and someone was hammering a steel drum shut tight.
