Does LE purposely coincide arrests on or close to upcoming court dates? Is there a reason?

We don't know but frankly I'm happy on behalf of the family that the charges were posted in advance of the appearance in Juvenile Court to discuss appeal of the Custody ruling in Probate Court.

Just saying AMEN on repeat to this!!!!!!!!!

Hope this ends well with KM taken into custody safely and that we don't have an 'OJ' case possibly ending in tragedy here. Tragic for the family and children of KM as I believe has children from multiple marriages. I don't recall all his personal details but check his thread here on WS for more info.

Posted very early on that JFD awoke/came out of coma from assault that morning dogs were barking and was kicking sides of construction debris container to attract attention.

I wonder if we will soon find out; how 'well planned' this was - due to noise at 4 am, the blood scene in the garage, dumping all those 'rags' in a strange part of town you know FD and MT never go to, were they trying to frame one of his workmen..the car at Waveney (which as we are local, my son was in a lacrosse tournament there the weekend of the 25-26th and the park was filled with LE)..

I thought CT didn’t have death penalty? Old post here on WS. Voted out not long ago.
I hope this case puts death penalty back on the books in CT. Won’t help in this case, but for future cases and especially domestic violence cases, death penalty needs to be made the law. Even though death penalty cases take way longer for appeals. At the end of the day, the perps face death.

Well, I guess NP can use the FD trial, appeals, etc. funds for a great retirement. Too bad. I’d love for Farbers to recover everything right now with some kind of a judicial or banking, IRS, hold on all FD “assets” that is left before FD and Associates drain the funds.

If Connecticut didn't re-instate the DP for the Cheshire murders, then they never will IMO

When they said they were holding him, I didn't think they were going to go to the trouble to bring him to Suffield tonight. It's a nice shakedown though IMO.

Fotis Dulos Charged With Capital Murder in Missing Connecticut Mom’s Disappearance

Fotis Dulos, the husband of a suburban Connecticut mother of five who vanished after dropping her children off at school in late May, has been charged with capital murder, murder and kidnapping in his estranged wife's disappearance, State Police said Tuesday

His girlfriend, Michelle Troconis, has been charged with conspiracy to commit murder, Connecticut State Police said. Both were taken into custody safely and without incident. They had previously pleaded not guilty to charges of evidence tampering and hindering prosecution in the disappearance of Jennifer Dulos, whose remains have not been found.

Fotis Dulos' lawyer Norm Pattis told reporters outside his client's Farmington home Tuesday that he had just learned of the arrest warrant and said two other arrests [Troconis and Mawhinney] were happening simultaneously -- one on a charge of murder, another on a charge of conspiracy. No details on the third individual named in a warrant were immediately available from police.

"I'm not surprised that the state decided to bring the charge," his current lawyer Pattis said Tuesday. "I haven't seen the warrant. I'll be surprised if they can win it. Mr. Dulos contends he was not involved and I don't think the evidence will show that he was."

For her part, Troconis' bond was set at $2 million. No details on her arraignment were availbale. News 4 has reached out to her attorney for comment.

Since the civil stuff appears to be going nowhere I hope that with the new charges we will be able to take a peek at FD and MTs shady financials. JDs family and loved ones deserve as much information as they can get. Justice FOR Jennifer!
