Does anyone have docket deets for tomorrow?

@gitana1 what does this mean with regard to attorney client privilege? Can he roll on a current or former client and would it even matter at this point? TIA!

Can you elaborate? I didn’t see the connection with the question and the quote you quoted!

@MassGuy, totally agree!

Not sure what is going on with Atty Bowman AT ALL. Can't imagine him having 4 significant meetings with his client and LE over multiple months and then saying with a straight face that MT was 'cooperative'? The lies were obvious and at times MT seems dazed and possibly confused?! Her language construction is also quite odd, even if you translate it to spanish and back to english (which I did to see if it made any sense AND IT DIDN'T)! MT simply for lack of a better phrase seemed 'out of it' when interacting with LE in some of those quoted interactions IMO.

I'm sure arrest warrant for MT is tip of the iceberg and we will be treated to hours and hours of video taped testimony to show exactly how 'cooperative' she was in this sorry case.

Unbelievable.

Afitzy, I haven’t posted much until the great news came out about the arrests today. Just want you to know I have followed all your posts on this case from day 1. It’s been great to see you care so much.

He’s crazy! I can’t imagine conspiring with a client to kill someone? Why?
Quid pro quo. He’s facing unrelated charges involving his ex wife. JMO

I can't catch up! This thread is flying by with so much info I want to read each post.

Can someone tell me why an attorney, KM, would involve himself in this? Why would he be involved in the killing Jennifer, what is in it for him? So confused.

I’m with you!

@gitana1, GF was allegedly awarded permanent custody of the 5 children via Probate Court over the past month sometime (we don't have documents). No documents regarding this court decision have been made public except via the document filed by Fd Atty Rochlin in filing his appeal in Juvenile Court (where appeals to Probate Court decisions are heard in CT is the way it was explained in press accounts). The hearing for this Fd appeal was due to happen on 1/9.

Interesting. Thanks for helping me catch up. It will take a bit!

Gruesome alert and forgive me for articulating this.

Not my area of expertise but since I haven't seen it mentioned here yet tonight - a couple of months ago some smart minds on this thread were debating how he might have disposed of the body (metal drum in water, moved to Sturbridge property until the next day, etc) and it was mentioned that she was tall and he would have a limited window of time to make her more compact before rigor mortis set in. Could that have been the need for the zip ties?

I'd just love to hope that she didn't suffer for too long...

Is KM even able defend himself via turning on a current or former client or would this fall under attorney client privilege? If he spills the beans or rats them out even truthfully would he be disbarred? Can he even claim attorney client privilege as I’m not sure he is an attorney of record for this particular case but has represented FD in other cases. again, thanks!

My guess is that there was money involved.

Yeah but that’s still insane. I mean he’s a lawyer. He likely makes decent money. How could it be worth possible life in prison?

No need for forgiveness ... unfortunately, that crossed my mind as well about the zip ties. It's amazing the places our minds go when discussing these cases. Makes you want to shower with a fire hose!

All so sad. I am really impressed by LE. But one question -- why not go arrest all three at once so the two accessories don't have time to flee? I can't believe they let the lawyer have so much advance notice and had to spend the day looking for him. Also, why would they recommend bail? I thought crimes like this usually did not offer bail but maybe it's just so high mist can't pay it?

Reminds me of some movie where one helps him get rid of the other's wife, then that one helps him get rid of his.

Geez. Who are these people? Hard to believe people like this exist in real life.

A sickness. Two men with violent fantasies and deep desire to kill their wives. They may have stuff on each other. Why indeed. FD could have had a really great life, MT as well, but their hearts are filled with greed and hate and jealousy. Subhuman people.

there"s no attorney privilege if there's a crime or a third party present
right?

He obviously means “without a body.”

Dulos will be the third person ever tried for murder in Connecticut. The first case was the infamous woodchipper case where Richard Crafts was convicted. The other case is out of New London a man named George Leniart was convicted of murdering April Dawn Pennington.

Haaaa. I can hardly wait for the classic moment when Bowman pulls "my client did not have an interpreter when being interviewed."

Perhaps these two guys have something deeper going on than we realize? Stranger things have happened! The women are just alibis and no longer needed?

I am almost positive that this base was covered with an interpreter starting with the second interview with LE.
