My theory on MT is that she was going through withdrawals. Obviously they couldn't help at the jail so that was two days without.

Yes, maybe they had access to moonshine then. I have been on the lake. I just don't see something that big falling in the water never to be found. As for a body, I can't see a body staying in the depth of 25 ft without surfacing at some point.

I agree, it defies logic. I just wanted to mention it because the grave gps coordinates at the rod and gun club were less than ten minutes by car from Bradley International Airport and Fd has referenced dropping things from planes before.

It seems weird to me that MT said that she and Fd have done these garbage drops before. I hope this was his first murder but IDK if it was.

This is exactly what I think. Reality is sinking in now and the walls are closing in with no escape. Anxiety is now escalating into full blown panic. She gambled and lost. Big!

Kidnapping charge is thrown in quite often on nearly all murder cases -- it's an aggravator. It basically only means that before the victim was killed they were held against their will.

A Hartford attorney that's been providing commentary to WTIC/6 since JD disappeared breaks down all the charges against FD-- relating it to his AW in a short video at the link below. I found it worthy of 5 minutes.

(Interesting how in KB's case, it was part of a 'game' - a bit trickier to define...)

contractors dropping construction debris in places where they do not pay for the pick up is cheapo and illegal (just saying). they are supposed to get a dumpster delivered to their site and pay to have the trash taken to a legal waste disposal.

Actually what is even sadder IMO is that Judge Donna Heller actually nailed Fd as being a 'liar' and 'willing to lie while under oath' and clearly documented it in the Family Court file and then goes on to discuss it further in her Custody Ruling in favor of GF.

No, I am the last person on earth to defend Judge Donna Heller but IMO she saw through Fd quite clearly. She seemed, however, to prioritise the idea of an 'intact family' and 'the important of children's relationships with their father' when the evidence on both of these issues IMO in the Dulos case simply didn't exist. IMO once Fd went down the path of getting the 2 oldest children to lie on his behalf (and no doubt keeping the other children in line on the issue as well) about the MT and daughter situation and violation of Judge Heller order on visitation then severe measures were called for IMO. Judge Heller sent FD to therapy and parenting classes I believe and he lost contact with his children for nearly 10 months. Even so, the damage to the oldest had been done and by all accounts the situation was heartbreaking. But, Fd didn't care as his priority was MT and her daughter and the fact that he didn't agree with Judge Heller.

@gitana1 has been on this case from the beginning and speaks clearly about the issues Judge's like Judge Heller face. I respect @gitana1 and her POV on this as I do believe Judge's face tough calls every day. I think where I struggle on the Dulos case was the sheer amount of evidence Judge Heller had as to Fd character and ethical issues and yet she continue to push to create a relationship with the children and a 'father' who never really had functioned as a father in the sense of someone being there day and day out etc. I guess IMO Judge Heller was naive perhaps as to her intentions or perhaps also simply poorly trained in the field of Family Law as her experience prior to joining Family Law Court was as a corporate litigator.

Hindsight is always 100% on these tough issues but the DV Advocates in CT have been all over the Dulos case and the issues that seemed as clear as day to those well versed in the issues. I do wonder how much DV training Judge Heller has had during her period on the bench?

As you’ve seen me state before, he ended up with one of the most restrictive custody orders available without denying all contact. And indeed (you know this case so well!) the judge issued those orders once she had evidence of what a liar FD is and that he violated court orders.

Prior to that, it was just he said she said. As I’ve stated before (as you also know!), false DV or child abuse allegations are too common. It’s constant. So this judge doesn’t need to be schooled as to DV.

Too often people seem to think that an allegation should be enough to terminate parental rights and if the judge doesn’t do so they’re idiots.

It’s obviously not the way things work.

And even in cases where domestic violence has been established the policy of every state is to enable contact between parent and child as much as possible while maintaining safety. So even abusers get things like supervised visits.

Finally, as I’ve stated before (and I’m agreeing with your comments not addressing you, @afitzy because I know you know all this by now), a DV restraining order wouldn’t have prevented FD (who doesn’t follow court orders) from murdering Jennifer. Too many women with restraining orders are actually killed after they get one.

The judge didn’t cause this through action or inaction. This is all on that sicko FD.

I hope they both yearn for fresh air, sunshine and vitamin D. And eventually freedom because Spring is coming and their days of fresh air and sunshine are limited IMO

yes that is what I was thinking....then her lawyer can say she cannot stand trial because she has a mental issue....well the stats can ask for their own drs to review any medical issue IMO

Maybe the gun club was the dry run or trial run - for the prepared grave they used somewhere else - as a holding cell - we could say - until ocean in a barrel or ocean in pieces in a barrel..sheesh...I don't know...and trial will be way off into the future before we know more, IMHO..

wonder if the Gun Club grave was one of several... to mislead. I also think it is weird that the gun club grave was filled in- did they have a trail camera or some tip that it was discovered? Or was it used for some period of time? Lastly, I think the gun club grave was KM's idea. It was pre-planned and methodical and I think that FD more likely did something more violent and abrupt, just IMO.
