But if FD dies and his murder trial never takes place and therefore murder is not proved, how can the other two be tried on charges related to a murder that hasn't been proven.
Would the medical examiner just say that JD died of unknown cause?
Maybe they'd have to change it to "improper handling of a corpse," and "concealment of a corpse." There are probably some other related charges. I suppose there must be precedent for an "accessory to murder" trial to basically prove there was a murder - but boy, that seems uphill.
