This should be interesting.

Pattis will be in court in Stamford for this 2pm bond hearing tomorrow. Expect him to hold a news conference. @News12CT

I’m not sure what to make of this.

Norm Pattis initially planned to address reporters at Jacobi Medical Center tonight but left without doing so. His sole interview was with @NBCNews earlier today. They have shared part of it with us, which I've tweeted out. @News12CT

2 mins later, she says he will be holding a PC tomorrow:

Is FD on life support?

If so, I predict Judge will set bond at $25 M and family will pull the plug.

ETA: Add and brain dead.

I think NP probably reminded to hold his tongue since FD's suicide attempt likely to be accepted as evidence in the charges against him.

Let me find the tweet:

If he is alive and is tried, this comes in as evidence, @KenneyBaden and I agree.

Would AB make any kind of statement on behalf of MT re today or will he be locked down and quiet as he has been since AW3? Thoughts?

My guess is he’s developing his new spin strategy imo

How so? That he tried to off himself does not necessarily show consciousness of guilt. In fact it doesn't imo, since I think he cannot stand to lose control. Nothing to do with remorse .

I think he probably wants to distance his client from FD. That would mean remaining quiet, and continuing to fly under the radar.

No sense putting MT’s name in the news.

Just wondering IMO if this was a "forced suicide". I keep thinking of the Godfather movie, and the old country ways. Was Fd led to this fate?

Snipped this from wikipedia.

Forced suicide was a common means of execution in ancient Greece and Rome. As a mark of respect it was generally reserved for aristocrats sentenced to death; the victims would either drink hemlock or fall on their swords. Economic motivations prompted some suicides in ancient Rome. A person who was condemned to death would forfeit property to the government. People could evade that provision and let the property pass to their heirs by committing suicide prior to arrest.

Do you mean to imply that such customs still exist in modern Greece? Or that there's something like an old school Greek mafia?

Though a person can be ventilator-dependent and definitely not brain dead. Christopher Reeve immediately comes to mind- high spinal cord injury, people with ALS, etc.

edited to correct the spelling of Christopher Reeve's name
Yes, good post, and also people are sometimes put into a medical-induced coma to allow brain rest (for other medical conditions/reasons), and then they are slowly weaned off the vent until they are successful at breathing on their own once again (although obviously this doesn't appear to be the case here). If true that CPR was administered to FD for anywhere from 15-30 minutes before a pulse was once again detected, his chances of not having permanent brain damage (IMO) are about slim to none. Although, probably every 1 of us has known of someone, whether it be a friend, family member, neighbor, co-worker, etc) who has defied these odds and continued on with no permanent deficits, it usually doesn't have that kind of outcome though. (JMO from my past experiences in medical field)

'There's a real possibility of permanent brain damage and damage to the heart. He may never be the same again,' a friend told DailyMail.com.

hmmm.... maybe if he lives/has brain damage, he will say things that could be helpful in finding Jennifer...... never know what God has planned.

Makes total sense, I'm just so curious to know what's going on in her house.

agree. If I were in DC, CT and NY in one day and it was 11p.m., I might not want to put my thoughts together just yet. IMO

“Mark Motuzick of Capital Bail Bonds in Hartford said Dulos called him at 9:53 a.m. to ask if he could take over the bond. Motuzick said he told Dulos it would not be easy and that he would call him back.

Motuzick said he called Dulos back at 10:34 a.m. and Dulos told him it was “all set.”

Motuzick said Dulos seemed out of it and short of breath — like he was working out.“
Police say Fotis Dulos in critical condition after attempted suicide

this above to me suggests that he was absolutely terrified of having his bond revoked and going to prison today. Jmo. I think that the phone call he received from his attorneys regarding the bond adjustment hearing precipitated this act. It gives me no clue as to how long he was in the garage with the gas but to me it suggests that today’s suicide attempt was directly related to him believing his bond would be revoked.
Interesting he was calling other bondsman. Did NP abandon his client today? Yep.

The quote from Motuzick at 10:34 am speaking with a Fd who sounded out of breath and like he was working out was chilling.

I wonder if Fd had his cell phone with him in the Suburban and at the time he took that call he was in the process of attempting to kill himself?

LE didn't arrive and break down the garage door until nearly noon or shortly thereafter. This could have meant that he was sitting in the car for about 1.5 hrs with he gas until he was pulled out and placed in fresh air.

What did Fd mean when he said it was 'all set'?

Did Fd mean that Atty. P. had arranged another bond situation or did he mean that the issue wouldn't be relevant because he would be dead?

Why wasn't someone from Pattisville at 4Jx today?

How did Fd manage to get rid of his sister and bond minder today?

MOO

He appeared to be on a ventilator earlier when he was transported to Jacobi.

I think he was in that car, and in the middle of attempting to take his own life. At the very least, he was setting up.

Him telling Motuzick that it was “all set,” would have been an effort to get him off the phone, and prevent arousing suspicion.

He didn’t want anyone to interrupt his plans.
