I'm with you on wondering about the whole 'why not go out' for dinner routine and why stay at Welles.

I do wonder though if the reason they stayed was because it was the Name Day celebration and they wanted to do a cake (I think this is the tradition that someone shared many threads ago?). It might have been harder to do this in a restaurant is my guess.

I don't know about anyone else but I am still periodically haunted by the LA testimony about how she put the food outside and then she and JFd stayed inside behind a locked door. Haunting image to be sure and I can't help but think that JFd didn't even want Fd on the patio but she no doubt did it because it was a celebration for the children to celebrate a Name Day. I do wonder if the older children will remember this last meeting/event with their father and mother hiding inside possibly for years to come?

MOO
Somebody must have some answers to these questions. LA must know how and why the dinner played out as it did. And perhaps JFD confided in a friend after this occurred?

The ‘new best friend’ comment might be setting the scene for a defense claim that MT was in the dark about all sorts of things. Eg. a claim that FD kept AC’s existence under wraps from MT all these years, just like he didn’t tell MT why he was asking her to clean up blood.

But it’s not going to wash with a jury. Yes FD was a controlling, horrible person but the evidence in the AWs clearly sets out how MT was (at the very least) a willing participant in the murder of JFd. A cruel and calculating co-conspirator.

IMO MOO

Seems like FD was planning it very thoroughly for quite some time .

He refused to provide many requests for financial information to the Family Court for many months & the following week he had been ordered by the court to appear & provide said data that he likely did not have about his business, finances, assets, etc.

Discussed in earlier threads at length about this being the tipping point, possibly around June timeframe.

JMO

ETA: And he had set it up for that Friday before Memorial Day weekend, knowing where JFd & kids were going to be and when.

IMO MOO

Yes - He AND angry, greedy MT had set it up for some time. IMO

If those drones are just sitting idle, I wish someone would fly them over MT's condo at the highest possible altitude and drop her lemon squeezer and attendant junk from the sky.

Will pain from the ankle bracelet keep her from running to salvage her precious possessions?

One hopes.

So:

If Jennifer is the 'surviving' spouse, as Rena claims, how can Rena claim to have any part of the estate?
I wonder if she is claiming part owner of FORE and therefore feels entitled to part of the estate. Wonder if she knows of the FORE debt?

If I recall correctly LA gives a detailed explanation of what happened at wells the evening of the dinner. In arrest warrant 3.

It would be interesting to compare some of the older real estate photos of that, any previous house, for what was inside the rooms.
I recall seeing a couple small antique looking
tables in the living area that I suspected came from GF. They were old and lots of filigree.

Ok, so am I missing something? If FD had $194,000 in a Fidelity account why didn't he use his own money for bail instead of AC paying $147,000? One more act of manipulation?
I believe that was the acct. he was paying NP out of. If NP had squeezed him for more money near the end FD would have had to use this acct. to keep his atty paid.
Was this his final act of defiance toward his atty. Sorta say F U I'm not paying you any more, even though I could. You're not gonna wipe me out.
I still believe NP had strong armed FD in believing he was running low and needed to come up with more money from somewhere.
FD knew he was nearing the end of his stach.

haha, wonder how much the current outstanding bill is/was to NP and Co.?

"I wanted to make sure Michelle’s interests were considered and that nothing disappeared from that house until we can sort out what belongs to her, what belongs to the children, what belongings to the estate and what belongs to the new best friend," Attorney Jon Shoenhorn said.

BBM. Note how MTs attorney referred to the “new” best friend. Is MT jealous perhaps? Did she not know about AC?
According to NP, this was an “old” friend:

“It is my understanding and belief these were old friends who developed a friendship years ago at work and out of loyalty to that friendship she has assisted Mr. Dulos,” Pattis told the Courant. “We should all be lucky enough to have such a loyal friend.”

If MT believes that FD hadn't seen or talked to
AC for 20 yrs. when he worked with her, then
I got a bridge in Brooklyn to sell her.
Hey Michi, he was probably being "best friends" with Anna the whole time he was with
you. You were just the 'dishrag' keeping the home fires burning. She was the fresh meat.

There's still alot of holes to filled in though.

Interesting because it mentions the mudroom door. It also implies that FD brought the food for the picnic. Not that it was provided by JD. If that is the case, why not call JD as soon as he (fake) realized when Grace Farm closes? There would have been much more to the conversation at WL than what the AW states. It may or not be relevant, but I'm curious. As others have stated, seems he wanted to be there without the GAL people.

What possible ‘malpractice lawsuits’ could he be referring to?

Smith said that they want to ensure that Dulos’ interests in his own estate are preserved — specifically so that they can pursue possible wrongful deaths claims and possibly malpractice lawsuits.

The fight over Fotis Dulos’ assets - from his cat to his bank accounts - heads to probate court
NP is out to spread the 'Guilt' to assuage his
own internal demons.
NP 'knows' he screwed over FD near the end.
NP knows he dropped FD as a focus to run
to DC and take on another client who's wallet wasn't as thin as FD.
Betcha NP's shrink is gettin an earful of excuses on FD's suicide.
NP, you of all people should have seen this coming. Except FD knew and understood you
were no longer in his corner cause the green was fading fast. He knew it. You were a FRAUD. NP was a total FRAUD.

I wonder if she is claiming part owner of FORE and therefore feels entitled to part of the estate. Wonder if she knows of the FORE debt?

When I looked up the FORE Group businesses on the CT Sec of State site, I noted that it was originally set up as FORE Group US, LLC. IIRC, that organization was active two years, then dissolved and it was set up as FORE Group, Inc.

The first setup made me curious whether there was a FORE Group Greece, or FORE Group Int’l. set up outside the US. That’s one reason why I previously indicated here that it could be very important that the custodian of the estate check title of the real estate properties ASAP.

Hug said so far he has found a bank account with about $14,000 in it and a Fidelity account, which is likely an IRA not subject to probate, with about $194,000.

Oh, interesting about the IRA not being subject to probate. IRA in CT are exempt from creditors. That means $194K goes to direct heirs. Not to you Rena!

Smith said that they want to ensure that Dulos’ interests in his own estate are preserved — specifically so that they can pursue possible wrongful deaths claims and possibly malpractice lawsuits.
“Dulos expressed wishes were to exonerate him of the charge against him,” Smith said.

Hahaha! ROTFLMAO. Are NP and KS going to sue themselves? I guess they could sue Pyetranker for being with FD when he gave the phone to LE. That's not going to do anything to clear FD name. The lawsuit would just focus on whether Pyetranker acted properly to defend his client. Legal malpractice is very hard to prove as the courts go with the assumption that a lawyer is acting in client best interest.

Who is he going to sue for wrongful death? The infamous "Court of Public Opinion"? Jennifer, for being so annoying as to pursue her rights that she just needed to go away, like forever? GF for pursuing her own rights to get her money back in civil court? Weinstein for getting answers? The banks who didn't properly look at FD situation before loaning him money and "made" him get into a financial hole (one he dug himself of course)? JD divorce attorney? I'm sure there are many others to be blamed for the miserable ending of FD life.

I'm not sure if that's what the defense is going for, but I will say there is evidence that AC was suddenly not around anymore on FD's SM right around the same time MT entered the picture.

I'd hazard a guess that either he kept AC a secret for some reason, or MT was jealous and AC left the picture for a while.

My questions for NP are what exactly is the estate of FD? Is it just some legal document filed with the court or did FD actually die with any substantial assets? If there is no one to be imprisoned or any assets of value to be taken what exactly is the penalty to be given the estate when found guilty?

Yes if I recall he showed a half hour early and Jennifer asked him to leave because the Gal was not there yet.he left and came back.I often wonder if that was when the suburban seen on the other street. Could have taken a ride to see what his options were for Friday?

so his mother's name was Cleopatra Nikolaidi,
does this mean she was divorced from FD's
bio father Petros Dulos?
May be why she was cremated and father was
buried in Canton. Another excuse to hate women?
