Judge should make those claiming items have to provide receipts for proof of purchase otherwise those things go to his immediate heirs.

Tbh the things MT is asking for is stuff that will likely go to auction (estate sale) or the trash. Who wants to inherit used soap dishes or bath towels?

He was definitely there to scope the place out. I think he was looking for any cameras, especially in the rear of the house and was also trying to get a sense of what the plans for that Friday might be. Easy to chat with the kids and ask "so what does the rest of the week look like" any extra curricular stuff, doctors appmts - yada yada - small talk - innocent sounding since who knew what was coming. He was just taking an interest in their day to day stuff. And he was so good as disarming and charming behavior.

I agree. And this was so incredibly sick, manipulative, aggressive, and selfish, using the children - who were simply innocently engaging with their parent - to further FD's own destructively selfish ends that would cost them so much.

I thought the visitation for Wednesdays was mandated to be in NC and there was no way he could have taken them somewhere within how many miles of NC.

  • #546
And that was the first holiday weekend just awarded him by the new visitation order. No doubt he thought they would then be in his “physical” custody while the search for Jennifer began...what’s that saying possession is 9/10S of the law..
And wouldn't the same apply to lemon squeezers and bathroom waste baskets!

Grace Farms is in NC. Or were you referring to someplace else?

PG told police that his Toyota Tacoma had mechanical problems, so was not reliable, and that was why he used the company vehicles while working on FORE projects. FD likely assumed the Toyota Tacoma was reliable enough to make the round trip to New Canaan either because he didn't know of the mechanical problems or because he assumed PG had exaggerated them so PG wouldn't have to use his own vehicle for work.

If only the Tacoma had broken down on the way. And if not that, then on the way back and had attracted the attention of a passing police officer who was attentive to detail.

Oh yeah! AC was sleeping on the "white king bed sheets!"

What puzzles me is Grace Farms isn't known for their dining facilities. It's a beautiful 80 acre park that closes at 6 p.m., so I'm confused why he was planning to take his children to dinner at Grace Farms (unless he was packing a picnic?). Hmmm. Please enlighten me.

Yes, yes and yes!!!! 9/10 of the law is right! BUT! GF is a bad***!!!! She knew immediately what had happened and kept those children. Amazing how she kept herself together and did what she had to do.

Also, I just want to point out how NPs narrative at the beginning of the case was so grossly inaccurate and misleading, likely a combo of FD lying and NP putting his own special defense spin on it.
For those who remember back to the beginning, NP said that FD attended a “party” at JDs on the 22nd, and that JD had “invited” him to have dinner with them at Welles that night.

No picnics allowed at Grace Farms (or at least not with outside food?), IIRC someone here looked it up and food has to be purchased there. JMO but it seems like Grace Farms was never really his plan, it was manipulation from the start. He showed up early on purpose and faked confusion about the meeting time then probably pretended that the extra half hour difference was what would have made it impossible to go there and finish dinner by six.

IMO the whole point was to create an artificial limitation that would put Jennifer in an uncomfortable position, not wanting to tell the kids that they couldn't celebrate one of their name days with their father.

I can't access the article so excuse me if it answers this: But, does she even have legal right to any of those possessions if they were not married??
Yeah- especially items she brought there. Also things bought with her money or hers daughters CS money. Items she shopped for with FORE cards are questionable. If her salary was a ruse to hide money, then items bought with her FORE salary would be questionable, too.

The problem is proving who bought what when. Somehow Weinstein knows about charges to Amazon and Homegoods by FORE inc. I would say that if , for example, a lemon squeezer were purchased, it might not be MT's. Or it might be, if the argument is made that it was a purchase by Dulos, through his bogusly considered separate corporation, as a gift to Michelle. Then, it becomes hers but purchased with squandered marital resources.

If I were a lawyer, I could explain it more clearly, and then could bill for a warehouse of lemon squeezers for the explanation.

As many have correctly pointed out on this thread, the legal fees can easily outweigh the gain fighting this out. Except for the lawyers. They have built in winnings.

YES! That is the pathological lying of a Malignant N. It is text book! IME.

HUH? Wait, are we missing something?
I didn't see that in his suicide note, did any of you?
There's only 2 reasons for this prank- that NP
knows of funds from an FD secret account that
can continue to pay him, oR
NP shmoozed it up w/ Rena and Admiral at the hospital and semi-signed them up as clients
to continue the fight.
Would Rena and her husband even have this kind of money?
Just want to point out that FDs last instructions to his lawyers was not his suicide note.

I wonder if the reliability of the Tacoma was checked out ?
The truck is freaking old. 2001. Who would do an approximate 3 hours round trip commute in that 5 days a week? IMO.

How do you know what the last instructions were? MOO. FD said NP would explain the garbage run. That's what was in the suicide note. It doesn't get any more "last instructions" than that. Sounds like last instructions. FD thinks an explanation of the garbage run will vindicate him for posterity. Now NP is left looking like a fool because there is no explanation that will not be laughed out of the "Court of Public Opinion". MOO.
