Another headscratcher though- why has LE
provided so little incriminating evidence
against KM?
I hope it's not because of the cozy relationship between attorneys in Ct. and LE and the effort
to protect a hard working attorney who is involved w/ LE on a regular basis. This would concern me, if true.
KM sure looked guilty since he took off from his office and zoomed up the highway, ala OJ,
and attempted to outrun the cops. Plus he was headed towards Ma. Wonder if he was armed?
Wonder what his plan was?
Interesting that he was stopped at gunpoint by LE. Do you suppose the cops deemed him a violent dangerous escapee? Seems so.
A hardworking attorney would have stayed in his office and faced the music, if innocent, and
worked out the problem, IMO.
Surely LE has some hard evidence since they did arrest him and charge him.
Oh I can't wait to see all the discovery here for him and Michelle Troconis.

I still can't shake the fact that after the body was brought to 80MS, it apparently was unwrapped from the black plastic bags which were found in the trash on Albany, along with the zip ties.

Why would someone have unwrapped a packaged body? To dismember? To burn?
To dissolve in a barrel w/ chemicals?

Is this where KM and MT assisted?
Is this gruesome part of the disposal why these 2 are so close mouthed?

If KM and MT aren't talking up a storm, it must be because they participated in the aftermath of the murder. Or was one or both
complicit in the actual killing too?

If you're innocent, and now that FD is dead,
wouldn't you go all out to clear yourself now?

body overnight in a cow watering trough. His
property was on 30 acres and no neighbors
reported anything.
In suburban and rural areas people still have burn piles and like my area, no one reports it.
MYOB seems common.
Central Ct. has so many large wooded areas which are
not highly populated so that I believe it wouldn't be difficult to burn a body.

I just don't see it happening in the area of 80MS, where the majority of FD's time was spent on the afternoon of 5/24. LE believe it's a secondary crime scene for a reason and walked away with no evidence per the SWs. Had a body been burnt in the area of 80MS, it likely would have been VERY visible to everyone at the UConn Health campus a mile away (as the crow flies).

I've never burnt a body, but I would imagine it would create quite a bit of noticeable smoke?

The only instance in CT I can think of off the top of my head was the murder of Shamaia Smith, and that happened in a pretty secluded area in Stafford or Stafford Springs iirc, and, even with the private area and time the perp had, they STILL found evidence of Smith's body.

It really, truly is very difficult to burn a human body, and pretty much impossible in any kind of a populated area. It takes much longer, and the fire has to burn consistently hotter, than you’d think it would. Besides, once you commit to doing it, you would need to make sure that it wouldn’t attract anybody’s notice for days, because you couldn’t easily hide it if the cops came calling.

Just thinking this morning.

Early on, when the West Hartford reservoirs were being searched, we looked at them a bit as far as proximity and terrain.

Just figured I'd point out something I thought of this morning. 4JC, the reservoirs, and 585 Middle Road (location of cell tower info from ~10:30PM 5/23, the night before JFD's "disappearance) are all pretty conveniently located on a map.

I added 80 MS to this map because it is also VERY conveniently located to these locations.

ETA: That sentence is incredibly redundant, but my brain isn't working 100% this morning, so I apologize.

claimed he could not remember.
• Dulos' phone records showed an outgoing call to Mawhinney on 05/23/19 at 5:33 PM.
• Mawhinney denied any phone contact with Dulos on 05/24/19.
• Dulos' phone records documented an outgoing call to Mawhinney on 05/24/19 at 7:47 PM

LE has evidence that Mawhinney had knowledge of what was going on. He has an opportunity to make a deal. IMO

Where is Dave A getting this information that he is now treating and disseminating as fact, as if he were the leading authority, and which the public will now treat as fact, as well?

It's as if he thinks he's doing a press conference which one would normally hear from law enforcement, no?

I'm with you and I have to say that DA and HC having the transcripts from the Dulos children visitation to me is quite disturbing as even LE had to put a search warrant request in for those documents (we saw this in the search warrant dump).

I HOPE that DA didn't get the documents from Atty Rochlin or Pattisville as there is something hugely invasive IMO about those transcripts making it out into the public domain.

Very irresponsible IMO on the part of the HC and DA to release any part of those transcripts.

Yes he did. I'm hoping to get more visibility on the issue with the probate process as I kept running into LLCs and corporate names with no human names visible in my early search work. I would think KM and Atty Markowitz might be able to shed some light on this but my guess is that the won't be inclined to assist unfortunately. I would think that Atty Weinstein has been working on this situation over the past few years as well. Its on my radar to watch. MOO

place, there had bee a couple rain showers in the area. I remember we went over this at length on an earlier thread. If the panchos were used to protect the ground from blood and then the rains further removed any scent or blood, maybe this is still their theory?

Clearly we don't know exactly where the KM investigation was going at the time his AW1 was filed. But my sense was that the AW3's for Fd and MT and the KM AW1 were rushed in order to stop the Fd custody hearing from happening.

Fd pushing ahead with custody battle I think put this case on a whole different timetable and I do wonder who in the Pattisville camp pushed for this schedule as IMO it resulted in the entire Fd house of cards falling down. I'm not sure though that having more time would have helped Fd but perhaps he could have sold a house to get some cash to tide him through the process.

But, it was unclear to me that he would have enough to cover a defense for a murder trial at that could be upwards of a $1 million I would think.

It is time for me to take a break from this case.

I feel like there is a great deal of ignorance about unconscious misogyny in this group. Paradoxically, this is a group that detests overt misogyny and domestic violence.

I feel like that ignorance about misogyny has led to a situation where we are supporting the very institutions that helped kill Jennifer.

Misogyny is present when we use the word "ho."
It is present when We snicker at "art" photos. It is present when we can't even see that the person who (with his wife) owned the house and controlled the salary for a dubious job is far more powerful than a person who moved in without a lease and is the employee, not the boss.

There is no amount of erotic magic that can erase the fact that the home owner can evict at will, and the boss can fire at will. And it is dubious to argue that anybody could credibly be said to be endowed with the erotic magic to control a person like Fotis. Withholding sex is hardly a match to ability to evict and/or fire from a job.

Giving a female person that much power where it does not exist is a way to perpetuate misogyny.

A person who has, admittedly through free choices, put herself in a position where she has no control over housing or employment is vulnerable. There is no other word for it.

A person who is vulnerable can be a murderer. In this case, the vulnerable person I am describing is IMO.

Describing her as vulnerable is not making an excuse for her. But, refusing to recognize the vulnerability is perpetuating misogyny.

With that, I leave this thread for now. I am aware that this might be good news to some, and pretty unimportant to most. For me, it is sad.

WS is refreshingly victim friendly compared to SM. I do want to stay and support Jennifer, but it can't be done on this thread. Misogyny plays a big part in her murder. Misogyny is perpetuated on this thread. It feels impossible to me, then, to be fully supportive here.

I think Fd and Attorney Pattis would like to think that selling a house would result in immediate cash but were there any FORE properties without a first mortgage? At closing, or title search, the first mortgage holder would have to receive the sale proceeds, right? Unless Fd/KM/Attorney Markowitz was going to abscond with a 2-5% cash deposit from an attorney escrow account? Why would I, as a purchaser, believe that a real estate closing with KM/Attorney Markowitz at the other side of the table would be a-okay? I'm truly puzzled when any attorney familiar with real estate closings would think there was any cash to be gotten from the sale of any of the properties...MOO.

Hmmm.... you will be missed with your insights.
Honestly, if I see something way out of my belief I scroll and roll. I like the comments I feel are good and leave the others alone and ignore.
I do think we still have some good sleuthing members that truly want to get to the truth. I hope you reconsider but understand your sentiments.
I am hoping LE will get a large break in this case and figure out what happened to JD, regardless of the who or why questions.
