From the beginning, this guy Hug has rubbed me wrong!

While I don't have a problem with Jennifer's mother seeking to declare her daughter deceased, I don't think it appropriate for the representative of her estranged husband's estate to be requesting this action.

I recall Mr. Hug earlier making an offer to personally acquire the real estate holdings of FORE Group, and now he wants the only liquid asset (IRA) available to him too?

Slick as snot...
Wow - it's quite unbelievable IMO. If J is declared deceased then under CT probate, do the children inherit (whatever may be left?) in that case, I would think a guardian will handle their interests and this nonsense will not be allowed but we saw how their divorce was handled...sigh

My favorite quote of entitlement from the article:

“She had to drive for an hour to find somewhere with electricity,” Schoenhorn said. “I can’t imagine anything more punitive.”

OMG...I read about elderly people in CT who were reduced to sitting in their cars for air conditioning...I see KM imprisoned....People without jobs, no cars, reduced financial income, and people suffering and dying from Covid-19. Driving an hour to charge your ankle bracelet is NOT punitive. It's a gift of freedom.

I hope whoever will be representing the state in the upcoming hearing is articulate and well-prepared, because MT's entitled attitude and poor me persona is the way in which she has navigated her life, IMO. It's time for MT to grow up and become completely honest with LE.

I am going to throw up. What a dismissive insult to others with real struggles! I have an idea: If she stayed in jail, she wouldn’t have to drive to charge anything! Omg. MOO.

I can imagine something much more punitive: A kind, beloved mother of five kids being murdered savagely thanks to the greed and selfish entitlement of parasitic humans of the worst sort. MOO.

I cannot believe that MT wasn’t warned by her PO to get her ankle monitor charged, and also informed of a place where she can charge it if necessary. I wonder what everybody else with an ankle monitor did in the aftermath of the storm. I don’t think it can possibly be true that she had to travel an hour in the middle of a tropical storm to charge that thing-the fact that she might have done so is beside the point. I wonder if whatever judge she appears before will be ready to challenge JS’s claims?
Hoping it is Judge White.

And another reason I dislike Mr Hug!!

From the link:

Hug does not say what evidence he has that supports she was dismembered and he did not respond to a request for comment.

Chief State's Attorney Richard J. Colangelo Jr., who is prosecuting the case, said he had no knowledge of whether Jennifer Dulos had been dismembered.

Fotis Dulos faced murder and other charges in the case when he died from an apparent suicide on Jan. 30.

Attorney Richard Weinstein, who represents Jennifer Dulos’ mother, Gloria Farber, called Hug’s probate court filing “ironic.”

Weinsten pointed to how Fotis Dulos’ defense team repeatedly argued that Jennifer Dulos staged her own disappearance to frame her estranged husband, who they claimed had nothing to do with it.

what kind of idiot doesn't have a beneficiary named on their IRA especially since he accessed it to help post bail??? This money should go to the children IMO not be sucked up in probate legal fees. jeez.
If your IRA is left w.out a designated beneficiary, then it's paid to your estate. When this happens, IRS rules dictate that the account has to be fully distributed within five years. Hopefully, distributed to Jennifer's children and not co-mingled with the financial mess that he left.

I'm not very familiar with ankle bracelet's, but very early on in this thread, when either FD or MT had an issue with an ankle bracelet, someone mentioned they all have a back up battery, so I'm confused why MT had an issue at all? This really should be a non-issue and NOT the storms fault.

I agree with you. Hope all 600,000+ without power in Connecticut are now with power!

I remember reading a manual or similar here about them but I don't recall a back up battery.

Also remember FD's battery ran low and he was told to get it charged. MT was allowed to go to NY to visit her friend but had to return to CT because there wasn't any service where she was. This was in the very beginning when they were outfitted with the ankle bracelets.

MT could have charged it the day before the storm or she could have gone to the police station. She went somewhere to charge it. I understand there were a ton of live wires on the ground from the storm. Wonder if she drove over any. Oops!

I'll see if I can find anything in the media thread about the bracelets a little later. Real life is calling me right now.

I'm very concerned about the bruising on her ankle, and I also want to be sensitive to the punitive nature of storms, targeting her over all the others incidentally impacted by power outages. It's time to spare MT these indignities and remove her ankle monitor. However, since she's a flighty flight risk, we're going to have to swap out her anklet for a cellet. If limited freedom is too hard for her to bear, it's cell time.

Anybody else curious what all she did in her hour long search for a plug in? It would appear MT is finding clever ways to circumvent reporting, including meeting her attorney in all kinds of unnecessary places, simply because she can.

Meeting potential clients with fabric swatches? How much of that is going on during Covid? How fortuitous for her that her business should be an online enterprise, perfectly suited for "work from home" in her home while on house arrest. She can curl up on one of her schmancy rugs, careful to keep her bracelet from snagging the merchandise, and click away.

All I know is that, if I found myself in the market for a hideous rug, and had to buy one from her, I'd pay EXTRA for proof she never physically touched it. There's blood on her hands.

Her trial can't come soon enough.

I checked the media, timeline but couldn't find anything about the ankle monitor MT is wearing. Just can't remember what company it is that makes them. I know I read a manual or something similar to one in this forum.

If she has so many problems with the bracelet, then maybe a 9x10 cell would make her life better. There just aren't too many words left that haven't already been spoken to describe her.

Nope. This is nothing more than MT thinking she's special.

FD claimed issues and asked to move the monitor to his wrist. The company does house calls. No excuse.

MT wants NO MONITOR, period. I hope she opts for jail.

The motion filed by Fotis Dulos’ attorneys says the company that monitors and maintains the GPS bracelets has agreed to let him wear the bracelet on his arm pending a judge’s approval.

Judicial branch officials, speaking about the general use of the monitoring devices, said it’s "standard procedure" that it’s placed on the ankle unless ordered by the court.

He is odious-of course she needs to charge that thing. She is lucky to have a car to use in order to do so; and by the way, it wasn’t dangerous for her to be out to seek a place to charge this stupid thing-the storm didn’t last more than an hour at the most, and she probably didn’t have to go out to charge it until the following day, unless she failed to charge it the day before the storm. I’d bet one of her rich friends has a whole house generator that would have been perfect for charging it. This really is BS-I hope the jusge asks her the appropriate questions.

If it has a standard plug, a $35 inverter plugged into a car cigarette lighter will do it. Those are invaluable: two outlets for plugs, two USB slots. And, you know, there are battery packs one can buy to have a backup power source in the house. If a person’s continued right to (quite a lot of) freedom depends on keeping the battery charged, wouldn’t most people who wanted to stay out of jail plan for this type of thing? Of course.

Question 1: So...does MT think she is above the law and rules?

Answer 1: Apparently, YES, based on facts from her Arrest Warrants, Court Appearances, Comments, Etc.

Question 2: And does MT think she can get away with absolutely anything, which is often referred to in casual conversation—although usually not quite this appropriately—as “getting away with murder”?

Answer 2: Apparently, YES, based on facts from her Arrest Warrants, Court Appearances, Comments, Etc.

Question 3: And is MT correct in thinking as it appears she does based on her documented actions and deeds even on “house” arrest that she actually WILL get away unpunished (well, except for having had to travel an hour to charge her ankle bracelet, of course) despite her role in the murder of JD, a devoted mother of five kids?

Answer 3: NO. The evidence, LE, and the courts will ensure that justice is done. And we and all the other people who care deeply about the crying need for justice for JD and her five kids will watch and wait for as long as it takes. MOO.

The state Appellate Court has ordered that Michelle Troconis get a hearing on possibly loosening the conditions of her $2.1 million bond. Hearing will be on Aug. 28th live in Stamford Court. Her attorney has argued keeping her on an ankle bracelet is not necessary.

I vaguely recall that the manufacturer was a "Sentinel" GPS electronic monitoring device worn by both FD and Mt. Thoughts?
