There are many people in jail or prison who miss important life events. I'm bumfuzzled as to why this joker gets to spend his father's final days with him. Shouldn't he have been thinking about all those people who needed him when he was committing criminal acts? What makes him so special?

Um yeah, can I wave over here for a sec?

I'd love to see my Dad, but guess what, there's a global pandemic right now! Traveling to deliver unknown microbes to him just seems kind of risky & irresponsible to my family. My sibs are there & keep me posted.

I didn't get to celebrate after his successful cardiac procedure except on the phone/screen. (I was at work, so invited my sister to a ZOOM meeting while she was waiting. Early enough in the Spring that the nurses were impressed, first day of One Family Member Allowed Inside.)

Guess I'm just not as Important as Michi or Kent Mawhinney???

Michi's sisters aren't enough to keep up with Dad?

So very many questions.

Do we have a running tally of court order violations by The Three Amigos?

(Social convention violations would take up too much time & space.)

Bet they are testing those ankle bracelets for time & distance.

I suppose maybe the argument might be that he is considered innocent of the charges, until convicted of them, and so it isn’t outrageous...but we know he was involved, don’t we? It upsets me that the same right to be with a parent is not an option to the Dulos children

Based on pre-arrest behavior (KW) and online behavior (MT), I am reluctant to trust. I also believe that this kind of leniency may affect a jury’s objectivity. IMO.

Thanks carolmaria. The article is interesting on the ankle bracelets. I feel MT has and is testing the waters. How far can she go and what can she get away with. I don’t believe her bracelet is on her at all. I bet it was removed. One day we will wake up and someone will have posted....”gone to another country”. Maybe we should inbed these innocent until proven guilty criminals with a micro chip....some though would take them out themselves. No real way to keep track of them unless behind bars. JMOO.

What You Need To Know About The Jennifer Dulos Case Ahead Of ‘Injustice With Nancy Grace’

No Body, No Justice
A Connecticut town is rocked when mother-of-five Jennifer Dulos disappears. The main suspect in her murder, her husband, uses his wealth to gain leniency and derail the case, before a shocking twist has everyone asking: will justice be served?
Air Date: 10/15/2020

Thanks for the reminder Seattle1!

As I looked at the article, I was again surprised that more outlets haven't included the revelation from the civil trial in December 2019 when it was revealed that FD had been traveling with MT and her daughter as early as December 2015.

"Fotis Dulos, the estranged husband of missing Connecticut mom Jennifer Dulos, went on lavish overseas holidays with girlfriend Michelle Traconis for years before the pair were charged in connection with Jennifer’s May disappearance, according to court testimony Tuesday.

The Greek real estate developer looked confused and concerned — and his lawyer put his head in his hands — in Hartford court as a witness revealed that Fotis bought flights to Fort Lauderdale and Miami in Florida, Argentina, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands for himself, his gal pal and her daughter as far back as December 2015."

Would be a bonus if Nancy also covered atty head-in-hands' whopping retainer fee and the hanky-panky of where it went. Here's a link to CT Law Trib's list of recently disciplined lawyers. Go to their Twitter link if you hit the pay wall:

14 Connecticut Attorneys Disciplined | Connecticut Law Tribune

See lawyers the Statewide Grievance Committee goes after—for e.g., “improper retainer agreement” and “refusal to submit to an audit of IOLTA accounts”, and communicating with person represented by other counsel (remember NP sending PI McKenna to try to talk to FD's employee, after he retained counsel?) They don’t go after Norm Pattis for similar violations? Why?

Attorney in Dulos case wants autopsy report, financial records and more

Gotta say--Atty Shoe-horn is really singing for his supper.

While trying to remember where I "filed" a copy of the article above, I ran across MT's first deposition in the civil case between FD and GF. This is the one in which she declined to answer any questions. Interesting that the Argentina passport was a question in this deposition. I had also forgotten the Hunter Drive property and the tangled web involving that particular property. The two cars in Greece was also mentioned. Before FD's deposition he hurriedly returned those cars to the U.S. Where did they go? More and more questions....like when did the affair begin. MT still has a great deal to share with LE.

In your spare time, it's interesting reading:

This is one that the media should certainly look into! I'm exhausted with NP's teflon status. Are the other lawyers afraid of him...or entertained by him?

AS's comments and demands are getting extremely tiresome, IMO.

The demand for a sealed document from family court is outside the bounds of rational. AS does not know the meaning of confidential or as he referred to it, "secret." MT has no business reading that report, nor will it be used in the criminal trial, again IMO. He's disgusting and a showboat....his career-ending claim to fame. MOO

I rather feel he's being egged on my MT's new cheerleaders that need to do a deep dive into her history from 2012-2019....demure she isn't. MOO

Here a complaint against a lawyer first goes to a bar panel, composed of 2 lawyers and a non-lawyer + their bar counsel. The bar counsel on NP's panel is a friend of his, so complaints against NP usually don't even make it to the SGC. In the case of the forged affidavit in the Alex Jones case, the bar panel did find probable cause (a judge referred it to the CDC, who referred it to the BP), and a reviewing committee of the SGC held a public hearing (not covered by any media). The CDC was asked if the Wash, D. C., lawyer who allegedly signed Jones' name on the affidavit (in NP's presence) was from a large firm or a small firm, and was told a large firm. So go figure how the politics of that entered into the cmte's hesitancy to charge NP with anything more than "sloppiness."

A woman I know casually was discussing this case with me last year-she has a friend who once dated Norm Pattis; this friend told her that Norm is actually the life of the party, when he goes to one, and is very well-liked socially. I know it’s hard to believe, but it may just be that the judges and other lawyers personally really like him. Not that it should matter, when he is doing unethical and possibly illegal things, like possibly accepting an expensive car from Fd as partial payment for his services (I am speculating, and this is MOO)-but maybe it does matter if they personally really like him.

We've heard it a thousand times -- narcs are the most likeable and entertaining-- until the maks slips. And flying monkeys are very much a part of their lives. I don't think the legal community immune here! MOO

Not only are they not immune, but I think there is a higher incidence of narcissism among the legal profession, than the general population. Of course you know that I wasn’t excusing NP...just explaining why he may be getting away with things he shouldn’t, much like Fd did for so long.

Your friend's friend who dated Norm and found him charming must be going waay back on memory lane. He's been married to his 2nd wife for decades. Here's a touching contribution to a publication from his first wife back in the day--before Norm decided to go to law school.

"Alice (VerLee) Pattis '72, K.A.My husband Norman left the Hartford Courant to work for the Dept. of Revenue Services as Executive Assistant to the Tax Commissioner. Then he was offered a job at the Connecticut Hospital Association as Assistant Vice-Presidentfor Public Relations and Government Affairs, which he accepted in November. He takes classes inEconomics two evenings a week and is training to run a marathon in April, which I refer to as "themistress". He is also dabbling in local politics.I started working in the Manchester Memorial Hospital Emergency Dept. last January. It is one ofthe best jobs I've had. I am also finally enjoying the benefits of the old economic lesson of supply anddemand—the nursing shortage provoked large raises in all the Hartford area hospitals. The "hovel"which we call this house continually begs for repairs. Our two kids, Isaac and Sarah, are busily involved in Suzuki piano and violin, peewee soccer, legos, and construx."

I wonder if Norm applied the law of supply and demand when he got those fees out of FD.

I do think this woman’s association with NP was long ago

NP's position on the BLM protests was received with less love..from a tweet in the CT Law Journal..I was unable to access the law.com article. Is anyone else able to do this and can summarize?

'Call Me Privileged': Attorney Sparks Outrage With Comments on 'White Male Fatigue', George Floyd...
