I hope this is happening because the state is ready and not the other way around.

To clarify my thinking...Has the judge ruled on whether the search warrant was correctly enacted at 4 JX?

So, the judge rejected the motion to move the trial and that the warrant was overly broad. Anything else I'm missing from this 3-day series of hearings?
The judge ruled the evidence stands.

Start watching the tweets at X-I’m betting that we haven’t seen anything yet, with those tweets (or whatever they are called)

In denying the change of venue, Stamford Superior Court Judge Kevin A. Randolph noted in a 13-page ruling that his courthouse did not have a "circus" atmosphere when Troconis appeared.

There is insufficient evidence that vindictiveness and ill will against Michelle Troconis has flooded a prospective jury pool in the Stamford/Norwalk Judicial District," Randolph wrote in the document before announcing the trial would remain in Stamford.

Solid ruling.

The only circus is the one MT herself is three-ringing.

Quite right! It is MT’s circus and they are all her monkeys!

MT is already claiming “speedy trial” as a win. Like they’ve been pushing for a trial all along.

from the article ^^

Attorneys in the case will continue interviewing witnesses on the remaining motions on Sept. 25. Troconis is slated to appear remotely for the proceeding.

And I am guessing at 10am?

“ Schoenhorn has been crafting a defense for nearly three years attacking nearly every aspect of the evidence investigators have gathered against his client, including claiming state police lied about certain aspects of the case to obtain arrest warrants…..

Schoenhorn has filed several other motions, which have not been heard, including those to suppress evidence gathered through cellphone towers, electronic devices and DNA samples. Randolph previously said he anticipates ruling this month on the remaining motions. “

She's gotten by in life by being devious and cunning, and attractive in a kind of "ridden hard, put away wet"
RSBM

Pardon me if this gets slightly OT, but I just wanted to weigh in.
I find nothing attractive about the “ridden hard; put away wet look”, but I agree the description is accurate of MT. I think the same is true of Aiden Fucci’s sorry excuse for a mother, and that she and MT bear a resemblance to one another, and that the two are about the same caliber human beings. moo

They do resemble each other a little-and I imagine they share a similar character. I’d like to say that “rode hard and put away wet”does fit MT’s character, and the many life choices she has made. There are people out there who just do whatever they want, that suits them in the moment, and when the consequences appear, they blame the people hurt by those decisions. This is what I think MT and her entire family appear to do.

I am eager to see this trial start-the prosecution claims to be all ready to go, and I hope they have the ability to put both MT and KM in prison. I want to see MT crying like a baby when she is convicted. She probably has never faced any kind of consequences of her actions before-this is probably what fD found so appealing about her; her ability to just do whatever moves her, because there was never any responsibility. I’m sure fD thought she was all kinds of fun, where Jennifer, who had to get up with 5 children, knew she couldn’t stay out all night drinking and greek dancing. Can you imagine being married to someone as selfish as fD?

With Schoenhorn’s history, I doubt the trial will happen before next year-then when she is convicted, he’ll be bitching that her life has been on hold for 5 years, and that’s long enough. She may end up being guilty of “accessory after the fact”, and not conspiracy, if the jurors are allowed to consider such a thing. What is the sentencing for accessory after the fact in a premeditated murder case?

I, too, am amazed!

Now I begin to wonder who will be witnesses for both sides. I saw the NBC CT news video in which Schoenhorn references out-of-state witnesses, older witnesses, etc. Who could those possibly be? I imagine JS will be calling experts. Maybe they are old experts?

Who do you think the state will call? In some states potential witness lists are made public. Does CT allow these to be made public before trials? How are witnesses going to be deposed in the 3-week timeframe?

Maybe the State should have a few Websleuthers who know the details more than JS advising them.

You mean the court date is only penciled in?
Say it isn't so.

It's been so long that I am completely out of sync with the characters. Can only think of his worker PG. Didn't he make some unsavory observations of her?
MOO

Let’s see, besides PG…

KM, folks at the barbecue the night before the murder, the IT guy who removed/backed up MT’s data (sorry, his name escapes me), other Fore associates with info & a conscience…

That’s just a start. I have a wish list of long shots and fruitful scenarios but’ll keep it to myself.

I assumed he was talking about her parents. What witnesses could they be, if not her parents? He is absolutely going to ask them to explain the irrelevent issues like “when did your daughter start schtupping I mean “dating” Mr. Dulos?” “What did Mr. Dulos tell you about his marital status, and what did he say were his intentions toward your daughter?” “How did your daughter get along with Mr. Dulos’s children”? Half of the case will be all bullcrap-and then he’ll harangue the legitimate witnesses for the prosecution, like the police detectives and Pawel Gumienny. And wait until you see what he does to Kent Mawhinney. The saving grace there, is that I think KM is up to the abuse-and he also deserves it, so I don’t feel sorry at all for him.
