Think Schoenhorn will try any further delay tactics???

Does Connecticut broadcast/livestream trials?

Happy Hanukah, Gloria Farber & all who celebrate!

jmho ymmv lrr

JLS can't have his cake and eat it too. He called for dismissal on 12/4 citing MT's right to a speedy trial, and the prosecution called his bluff. IMO, it doesn't get better than this. MOO

Does a bear cr*p in the woods? He only has tomorrow to make his move, though. I think they’ve got him tied in a knot.

And-a very happy Hanukkah!

Seems we have conflicting news from Fox61??

Updated: Dec 7, 2023 / 05:25 PM EST

Editor’s Note: Attorney Jon Schoenhorn clarifies Michelle Troconis’ court appearance on Monday, Dec. 11, is a suppression hearing. Her trial is expected to start on Jan. 8, 2024.
Troconis’ attorney, Jon Schoenhorn, said that interrogation videos will become public at that time.

Troconis faces charges of second-degree hindering prosecution, tampering with physical evidence and conspiracy to commit murder.

I wonder if MT is dope slapping JS around right now? Wasn’t she hoping that, once the ankle monitor was gone, they could just coast indefinitely? If the trial does start on Monday, and Law & Crime does carry it, I wouldn’t be all that upset to catch Covid from my husband (he has it bad right now), so I can stay home from work and watch it. I wish Court TV was carrying it, though-I like watching that better.

Dang-I was hoping that they were giving JS what he’d asked for.

Did any of you see the update to her legal fund begging campaign? Saying that it was PG’s truck that was used in the crime, and he is getting much better treatment than she was. I mean, he wasn’t indicted-probably because he wasn’t there, didn’t clean up the mess, didn’t help throw the evidence away, didn’t have his truck detailed, and saved the seats…

Wait, what? What's with the confusion? This is the most odd case.

Technically, we still have a few Motions outstanding that if being denied by the court, could easily be minor housekeeping that gets cleaned up before calling in the Jurors. But we all know how JLS loves the sound of his voice -- he's not going down so easy, and maybe first day will be 12/12 or 12/13.

I still want to be sick for it…is that wrong?

Citing a Stamford Court clerk, seems only Fox 61 is reporting the trial will start on 12/11.

The Court site does not reflect this and JLS told WTNH that Monday, 12/11 will be a suppression hearing which makes more sense since there are still a couple of defense Motions that I don't think the court has yet filed a response to. However, given the defense Motion to Dismiss filed on 12/4, I do think it likely that the trial will begin before the end of this year. JMO

A refresher on this evidence:

Facebook

A new motion by the State of Connecticut filed Tuesday attempts to curb Michelle Troconis' lawyer from releasing evidence to the public.

In the new motion, the state cited two incidences where Troconis' lawyer, Jon Schoenhorn, released evidence barred from the public.

[..]

The State of Connecticut argues that the evidence released by Schoenhorn was "cherry-picked" and risked the integrity of the judicial process. The state is asking for an order that will direct the parties to seek the court's permission before releasing evidence.

Michelle Troconis’ parents release statement after learning one of Fotis Dulos’ former employees was granted immunity in the Jennifer Dulos murder case and that there may be other potential co-conspirators who have not been charged:

“We are heartbroken and deeply troubled following the revelations from yesterday’s hearing. We learned that there were other uncharged suspects, and that someone close to Fotis Dulos was granted immunity through a verbal agreement back in 2019 by the former chief state prosecutor without any thorough investigatio.

Our hearts ache as we see the focus unfairly narrowing only to our beloved daughter, Michelle.

Despite her earnest cooperation with the police back in 2019, she has been enduring these burdensome charges for over four and a half years. It’s agonizing for us to watch our innocent daughter suffer under the weight of a system that seems to be turning a blind eye to justice

We plead with everyone involved, especially the investigators, to see the pain and injustice being inflicted upon Michelle and to reconsider the direction of their pursuit. Our family’s plea is simple: seek the truth and fairness that Michelle so rightly deserves.”
