My focus has been going in and out.

This feels like a long road trip where the car starts and stops every 4 inches...

Are we ever going to get there?

Anxious to get into the thick of the State's case.

JMO
Truly painful.

My thoughts exactly! Unless his plan is to try and downplay the brutality of the murder itself, this is technically evidence that doesn't involve MT directly. Sit down and work on your cross instead of interrupting constantly.
I sense that anything he can do to discredit or trip up LE he feels is a win. He is a control freak who has no control right now. He is just annoying everybody - I feel pretty confident in that. No success in his antics so far. JMO

Those poor jurors having to sit through this tedious mess he is making...

Even JS is getting sick of himself!

"Sir, do you remember the question I've asked you fifteen times now? Is the answer still the same? No objection."

JS is very purposely and deliberately halting, stopping, and disrupting the states CIS by this continued nonsense. Either the judge puts a stop to it now, or we are in for a very long drawn out and painful trial. I imagine none of JS's behavior is new for the judge, however the jury has got to be very disgruntled. He's not scoring any points with them, I am afraid
So agree. Judge is now running big risk of losing control. State is losing flow of the process and narrative and Prosecutor is now even looking to JS before presenting evidence. Not looking good at this point as there is very little substance in any of these disruptions imo.

So agree. Judge is now in the territory of losing control of the train at this point. Pace and control is being taken from the State and is absolutely disruptive. Judge needs to step in.

Does this feels like a mock trial to anyone? The judge is schooling the defense. This feels like a rehearsal! Practicing for trial.

The Prosecution is sharp, well prepared.

Can't say as much for the Defense.

Thing though is that even if the Prosecution is well prepared (agree that they are prepared and well organised) that if the disruptions and the questioning and whatever other tactics are being used by JS continue to play out, the jury will be lost. I do question how prepared the Defense Counsel is and this is disturbing in its own right as these items looking to be admitted into evidence are many years old!

For the non-locals, it's predicted to snow on Tuesday here, hence the judge questioning whether there will be court that day or not. Stamford is predicted to get 3"-5", but it's really up in the air right now.

I think she intended to have a lifetime of great sex with the now dead man, FD. It is a well known reason to kill, even if we can't fully understand it. GSR
Greed
Sex
Revenge

To indicate the reasoning or basis for my supposition above, I will refer to page 16 of the AA.

Used to love the snow in CT. But they know how to manage it. Plows will be out and effective if that is all it is.

Heck, I lived in New Canaan during elementary school. Big Sis & I would sit at the kitchen table listening to the radio -- to find out if girls could wear slacks to school! Rarely happened.

We also had "snow pants," worn over boots with your skirt over. Once in your classroom, the boys would be sent out into the hall while the girls took those snow pants off.

Yes, walked to the bus stop in knee-deep snow, but this was in first or second grade.

If it is anything like what we are currently getting in northwestern Montana, expect the snows to be followed by extremely cold temperatures. It's currently -15F and temperatures tonight are forecasted between -24F to -30F (before windchill is factored in).

Sounds like the same system. I'm in northern CT, but the current forecast for me for Tuesday is 5"-8", then the nighttime low is a balmy 20F.

I can't help myself. Snow, you say, but it's up in the air right now. Yup. And it's about to fall. =)

This trial needs no delays -- JS is bluster enough. I hope court is back in session on Tuesday and picks up some speed.

The Tacoma Two-step.

She's just so tacky.

It's all so disrespectful, especially in the face of a murder investigation.
