Has MT's full police interview been released? I'm watching Surviving the Survivor podcast and they are playing a part of it, but they only have 6 minutes.
@afitzy, it's you! !!!
And letting you all know how much I appreciate everyone here. No need to reply, just thankful.
Welcome Back!!! I was so happy to see your name!!!Yes. I'm not a technical expert but I don't think its a mystery that the vehicle was left the way it was by FD on Lapham. Will have to go back and see the arrest affidavit. Gray Hughes did a rehash of the arrest affidavit the other night and I believe he might have discussed the issue of how exactly the car was left on Lapham. Will have to go back and double check the details.
I have not seen full interviews (3 in total I believe) released in their entirety. The last interview clips I saw were on local media and were short and seemed to be part of the Defence team activity at the time to get the Conspiracy to Commit Murder charge dropped as the news clip shown had the interview clip along with the 'interpretation' of JS that his client was being interrupted by law enforcement in the room doing the interview in 2019. I personally dismissed the clips and commentary from JS as they seemed part of his agenda to attempt to get the Conspiracy charge dropped shortly before trial was scheduled to begin.Has MT's full police interview been released? I agree that she will take the stand only if he thinks she must-or if Mama A thinks it’s a good idea.To be fair I suspect that a lot of us had already had enough of JS way before the trial even began.
Her first attorney Bowman, I believe prob wanted no part of the charade. JS is all about bluster and drama and bs IMO.
I sense at this point when all is said and done that MT is going to have to do a “Hail Mary”
aka last ditch effort and take the stand in her own defense. Maybe JS has planned on this all along.
It won’t help but I don’t think there will be any other alternative.
Just my thought at the moment. Imo
No session on Monday-they resume Tuesday, assuming weather permits.Monday is a Federal Holiday - Martin Luther King Day - are the courts closed in Connecticut on Monday, 1/15? Just want to keep my notes straight. But I guess some article will let us know - and the Judge to the jurors. Just thought I would ask...
Don’t forget junk scienceFirst it was thirty things that can glow, now it's "50 or 100?" Well, which is it Jon?
Also, it's ouija.
Hmmm-not entirely sure I like what I just read, re: alleged co-conspiritorsMiddletown Press - Judge Randolph bioA bit of bio on Judge Randolph by local paper "The Middletown Press".
Does not seem like an accident, leaving the door open, and the car in gear.Testimony from LE yesterday I believe was that the battery in the Suburban was dead. My recollection was that the testimony yesterday also mentioned that one/or more of the doors was left open and imo this could have run down the battery. Will have to go back to original arrest affidavit to confirm but I believe the Suburban was inoperable at the scene and even having the key fob from Welles Lane would not start the vehicle when it was on Lapham Rd. The Suburban had to be put on a flatbed to be secured at NCPD Headquarters and I believe this was mentioned yesterday as well in testimony from LE.
It doesn’t help that JS’s voice is rather annoying. It might help him if it were not so.Really love this judge. He is giving JS a chance but also seeing right through him. Tbf, JS is doing his job - raising doubt and trying to poke any and every hole through the state's case. He's just not doing a good job of seeming competent at it so far and is reaching for straws. This isn't even the part of the trial he should take large issue with.
A lot.JS is REALLY against this luminol evidence being admissible. It makes me wonder exactly how much glow we're about to see.
Having people’s focus going in and out is JS’s plan. If he can’t get evidence thrown out, then he wants the jury to be deeply asleep when it’s presented. My focus has been going in and out.
This feels like a long road trip where the car starts and stops every 4 inches...
Are we ever going to get there?
Anxious to get into the thick of the State's case.

On the first day, the defense was trying to school the judge-The jusge should put a stop to that.Does this feels like a mock trial to anyone? The judge is schooling the defense. This feels like a rehearsal! Practicing for trial.
The Prosecution is sharp, well prepared.
Can't say as much for the Defense.

That’s expected, I think Wed. or ThursdayIf it is anything like what we are currently getting in northwestern Montana, expect the snows to be followed by extremely cold temperatures. It's currently -15F and temperatures tonight are forecasted between -24F to -30F (before windchill is factored in).
Cars are much like a computers. For example, batteries drain on computers but plug them back in for charge and ready to go. Similarly computers, cars computer systems can be reset. For most cars, unplug battery and turn on lights....let it sit for 5 minutes. And you will have reset computers....will need to drive them at over 40mph for 25-30 minutes to get the systems recalibratedDo we know if letting the battery run down completely impacts the vehicle computer system and ability of law enforcement to obtain useable data? We haven't heard any testimony yet about the GPS/On board system for the Suburban but I'm curious if perhaps that might have been a reason why the vehicle was left running? We've run into this issue on other cases but I don't recall the technical impact on the system of running down the battery. Does anyone know? My sense is that FD researched many things and I don't believe leaving the vehicle running wasn't a random act on his part.
