My personal opinion is that the body was never at 80 MS, but was taken from New Canaan by FD in his own Suburban to an intermediate site that LE has not determined. And that when FD arrived at 80 MS Rd at 1:36 pm in his Suburban, following behind MT driving the Jeep - that was the first time he was at 80 MS Rd since he departed there in the Toyota Tacoma that morning (bike on board).

Makes sense. Then FD arrived at 80 MS with the residual and the defendant helped re-bag it? Never had direct contact with a body? How'd her poncho get so bloody?

Canton is very woodsy, even more so than Simsbury and Avon. Simsbury and Avon are more built up, but also have very dense areas of woods. Lots of water around, easily private access.
What do you think the likelihood would be that there is much surveillance around there? I"m guessing maybe just a few commercial establishments (gas stations, maybe some warehouses to protect contents).

Doesn't really matter at this point given this is 3.5+ years later, but I'd think these two would take that matter into consideration in picking a place.

Does anyone understand how EW School can be afforded on $4,000/month child support? Day student rate is close to $40,000 year back then. I have questions….likely that JF was paying for 6 children to be in private school. MOO
Maybe N’s father paid tuition.

I don't think she can account for her time between around 11 and 1:36 pm. She told LE several things for that timeframe, but nothing that puts someone else with her to corroborate.

I personally suspect she met up with FD somewhere and that is where the ponchos were used (and then taken back with them to 80 MS Rd, along with other items). FD uses his phone for the first time that day at 1:37 pm shortly after he arrived at 80 MS Rd. I think MT left it there that morning, when she went out for errands (along with KM's, which IMO he picked up after returning the Toyota Tacoma there).

@Alkali13, or anyone else from that area: I am curious what the area around Canton is like. Are there waterways around there that have quite a bit of private access? An abandoned quarry?

I ask because I've long noted that on MT's alibi script, the afternoon hours appear to be bookended by the issue of "rugs" (she brought them up a couple times in the interview so far). Around 11:30 or thereabouts, she calls "Barbara" to tell her that she doesn't know where the rugs are. (In the interview, she mentions a warehouse or somewhere else in Canton.). Then at the end of the day after PG has arrived in Farmington, at roughly 5, she claims she left to go check on the rugs, but then realized that we would not make it to the store before 5:30 closing, so turned back around and called Barbara to say she'd do it the next day.

This captured my attention because I've often wondered if JFD's body was wrapped (say bagged, rolled up in her own cargo liner) and so wrapped, it looked like a bound up rug. The zip ties used were long - 36" - so much longer than needed merely to restrain wrists and ankles, possibly long enough to wrap around and secure a rolled up liner.

Did MT feel a need to explain a bundle that might look like a rolled up rug that had been taken to somewhere around Canton?

ETA: Let me just add that I looked up routes. From 69 Welles Ln to Canton is roughly 80 miles (1-1/2 hours) taking Route 15 to Nichols, Route 8 thru Waterbury to Torrington, and Route 4/202 from Torrington to Canton. From Canton to 80 MS Rd is roughly 10 miles (20 minutes) through either West Avon or Avon. Total travel time is 1 hour 50 minutes.

From 10:30 am to 1:36 pm (when both FD and MT arrive together in separate vehicles to 80 MS Rd) is a little over 3 hours. So if taken to Canton, that would leave 1 hour and 10-15 minutes time to dispose of a body.
FD used to live in Collinsville.

Collinsville is located along the banks of the Farmington River, in the southeast corner of the Town of Canton. The Collinsville section of Canton, is a factory town in New England.

So interesting!

If I understood it properly today (doubtful) Barbara works at Hitchcock which is a retailer of traditional furniture. I don't see MT rugs at Hitchcock but who knows on issues of design?
I think this is the Company MT is referring to (its an old company that has had ups/downs and seems to be back in business): Hitchcock Furniture Back In Business.

Here is address for Hitchcock in Canton:
110 Albany Tpke Suite 911
Canton, CT 06019

Hard to say if there was any significance to the rugs being mentioned in the interview but the rug business was what she was allegedly working on at the time (think they were cowhide rugs iirc). My guess is she was using her business to give some info around what might have been possible activities for her that day and which would have been challenging for LE to check out quickly.

But, what is interesting is that the discussion takes the geography of everything discussed so far into the Canton area and away from Farmington/Avon where most of the focus has been. Canton is a bit more rural (beautiful area with houses in the $393,000+ range generally per zillow Canton CT Home Prices & Home Values | Zillow and median household income of $86,000) imo than Farmington and has rolling hills and dense forests.

The map shows the two large state forest parks and many lakes in the area:

MT: A FedEx package (?)

IMO TP is losing the plot and rapidly. Today I actually looked inside his ear to see if some ear device were there that connected him to the appeal atty handling the case. I can just imagine the voice saying, ">>>>OBJECT NOW, OBJECT NOW, OBJECT NOW....." and up pops TP but doesn't wait for the person in the earpiece to tell him why he is objecting. But its the objections that are improperly identified where the Judge is schooling him on his errors that is frankly becoming embarrassing.

He is writing their appeal case right before our eyes.

IMO his efforts would be better served defending his client as he appears ill prepared and frankly unfocused imo.

If she can afford to appeal. Her Fundly account has been stagnant for two days now.

Video of interview resumes.

Officer tells her her life with Fotis over. She needs now to think of her daughter.

They tell her they know Fotis was not home.

She tells them that she was home and she's not lying about everything. She has texts, photos.

Officer asks her to help these children who need their mom.

They ask if she's trying to protect him. They remind her of his pattern of cheating and moving on.

Ask her how long in advance she knew her daughter would be at school until after 9pm.

They ask her if she knew what was in the FedEx envelope. She said no.

They told her they were doctored plates to a 2007 vehicle. They tell her they know this didn't just happen, it was planned.

They tell her Fotis killed Jennifer.

They ask: Is there anywhere that you can think of where Fotis might have taken her?

Defendant lists properties. They ask about properties under development.

I'm honestly surprised she can do this with a straight face.
What would you do if you saw your lover put a fed ex package down a storm drain?
A few things come to mind but MT did none of those things and instead headed off for lattes.

Does anyone know what report she keeps referencing?

You know, the discount delivery though the storm drain system.

Did anyone catch that MT handed the FedEx envelope to FD?

Defendant describes something that was weird. In two years FD and JFd had never talked but FD said JFd changed and they were texting. Defendant was upset with this.

She was talking about JFd taking pills, multiple personality disorder. She is describing documents she read. Went to a psychologist to learn about JFd's mental health because Fotis says custody.

Officers interrupt her, ask her where Jennifer's body is, at 80 MS? She describes the property. Officers ask if they've been any recent changes to 80 MS. Asks her about other lots.

No tears....this is a stunning performance.

And the Oscar for Best Performance in the True Crime Genre goes to: MICHELLE TROCONIS

Listening to this IDK why Baby Daddy never petitioned for full custody as who could listen to this and NOT be concerned about the welfare of their child.

MT and FD were ANGRY that all the money was being spent on the custody battle. They both saw their $$$ evaporating. Huge motive. MT was very clear that FD wanted custody (implication being that he would get support to care for the children).

Cannot listen to this discussion about the illegal Psych report etc. out of the mouth of MT. Simply cannot. She if I understood it properly felt that SHE was at risk from any issues that JF might have had. UNREAL. Not really as it is who she is.

She's looking too at ease. She's in comfortable territory describing FD's properties around Farmington. To me, that suggests that JFD isn't there.
