At this point, that entire court is going to have Covid soon, it's going around a lot up here, and I just hear people coughing and clearing their throats all over the place.

JS is asking about stains on a garage floor. Asks witness if he took samples or tested it with any presumptive testing. JS asks if he observed them and determined them to be oil.

JS finally getting around to the photocopies, let's see how he tries to spin this.

JS showing photos of the office.

Asking about windows.

Asking about the second room with drawers with blueprints.

JS asking question about the whole team, supervisor but witness decided what to seize. Directed by a search warrant.

JS is trying to clarify the orientation of the office and the house itself. Three chiminies, did you search the chiminies?

JS references a videotape of every room in the house. Were there books? Were there 8 bedrooms? Were there 6 bathrooms? With showers and bathtubs? And even some half baths? Yes. And you checked the drains and faucets? Not by taking apart but by looking at them? Yes.
Have we ever seen that video ?

JS is now asking about the black bag. Asked witness if he knew when they had been placed in the bag, who wrote then or in what order. No

JS asks if the additions came after the photocopy.

State objection.

JS is asking about the additions on the original that were not on the photocopy. All referencing PG. Asks if he knows when the additional items were added. JS asks witness if he knew PG. Witness doesn't recall when he learned about PG or any association.

Objection.

JS moves on.

JS asks if the house looked live in. Did he know who lived there? Besides FD. Didn't know. Asked about the defendant, her daughter, other family members. Witness didn't know.

Did they see the artful print hanging over the master bedroom bed?

JS asks if the witness knew where they lived up on the timeline or who drove them when you searched them in the Litchfield garage. Were they each registered to the Fore Group? Yes.

Cross ends

MT is blinking A LOT, which made me wonder about that body language. According to the interwebs:

Blinking can have many meanings, including:
  • Stress: Blinking increases when your heart rate increases in response to stress. For example, someone might start blinking rapidly when asked a question if they are stressed and want to avoid the truth.
  • Anxiety: Excessive blinking can indicate anxiety, which often pairs with lying.
What a coincidence!

The sandwich was on the passenger side FLOOR, I missed that the first time.

Screwdriver was to change license plates imo

At other courts, the microphones at Counsel tables have a mute button. I wonder if these do? If so, the defense should mute theirs.

Redirect

State asks about the timeline between May 24 and May 31st when 4J was seized.

State asks about a license plate in the Jeep Cherokee. Asks witness if he saw any adhesive tape on it.

JS objects, argumentative. Overruled.

No tape or alterations? No.

Asks about a screwdriver? Any bloodlike substance? Did you see any bloodlike substance on any of the items? No.

Did they ever find anything at MS?
We have never seen much about evidence found at the houses other than the non alibi script at 4jx. Curious what they found!

  • #438
Recross

JS asks about the actual plates on the jeep. Matches the single plate laid out on the paper.

Concluded testimony for today. Recess until tomorrow at 10am.

I constantly hear the female defense attorney whispering, it's extremely annoying.
