I'm thinking that FD may have left 4J fully outfitted in women's clothing, borrowed from the defendant's closet, hidden beneath a bulky sweatshirt, swiped from PG's truck, so that when he drove Jennifer's Suburban away from Welles, as planned, he could pass for her. Ballcap.

Again, it's my assertion he never intended to leave a crime scene there and want to extricate her from there without a trace.

"He usually wakes up around 6:45, but a lot lately he's been waking up around 4:35 in the morning."

Before the break, she'd said she's never been in New Canaan.

Now she says she has been there and that she remembers FD dumping bags there as well. They remind her she said she hasn't been there.

Now she tells them the times she has been there.
Yeah and I remember when Jennifer was missing/murdered that I was sure MT either knew what FD had done or she helped him. Listening to her in the interrogations, I know she is guilty of conspiracy and cover up or even worse. With her self entitlement attitude, it really shows. She wanted Jennifer’s life.

I missed Sundown, I wonder if it was a reference to Ski Sundown? I brought it up yesterday since it's near Canton. It's definitely not a nice ski resort or anything, lol.
Fotis and MT met with a man who owned property in New Hartford which is just past past Canton/Sundown. She referenced Sundown in relation to that visit. if you head out rt 44 ( albany ave) you pass thru Canton first then you get to New Hartford . New Hartford is pretty rural for CT and Imo an an old charming town. Not fancy.
Its sounds like they went to an old farm with a barn and broken down stuff lying around - a guy with suspenders who was creepy who kept calling Fotis at odd hours per MT. She was not sure what the guys name was or if any transaction happened with the guys property
I think her daughter prob had ski practice at Sundown somewhere along the line so she used that for reference
IMO
Lake McDonough is right by Canton/ Sundown Ski area and New Hartford - pretty big body of water.

MT admitted in the interview played today that she gets grumpy when she has to do something she doesn't want to do. She didn't want to wash the windows. Is washing the windows a code for cleaning Jennifer?

MT is as grumpy as she can be in this police interview that she's managed to whine her way through the entire time. She is whining because she's unhappy doing what she's doing: talking to the police about Jennifer's murder. It's making her nervous and stressed. She wants them to stop asking their questions because she doesn't want to squeal on herself or Fotis. Her protestations are shockingly unacceptable.

After they were out on bail they were not supposed to speak. Some discussion about them violating that. Was that ever confirmed?
I think it was confirmed, but I don’t know by whom, or by what. Also-I remember talk that MT’s daughter also wasn’t supposed to be in touch with the Dulos boys, but she, too, ignored that instruction.

Thank you - I've actually followed here since Thread #1 and have learned a lot from everyone's insights. I do not recall commentary regarding interviews. Apologies if I missed something.
Great! I think the interviewers were calm, soft spoken, reminded her of her rights, that she wasn’t being accused on murder but only wanted information, they were concerned for her, offered her a chance which she refused. I’ve watched a lot of other interrogations in my day and this was one handled with kid gloves.

I watched yesterday’s in full and now today and she has a completely different demeanor. Very telling in my opinion.

Yes, no contact I believe is what happened when the visitation went to "supervised" status. I do wonder if FD and MT pressured her daughter to contact the older Dulos boys?

Video resumes.

They ask her about his phone habits.

They ask her if he has a male version of her shoes. She describes a black pair he has.

Asking her about Friday morning, if a vehicle was missing. She not sure if the Suburban was there. Thought so but now doubting it.

They ask her about the damage to the Suburban. She did it. Crashed it. They went to Massachusetts for a flea market. Raining. Exit 67. The week before the 24th. Describing a time to get it repaired. Got a loaner car, wanted a 6 seater. Tuesday before the 24th.

She jumps ahead to the hotel where they were arrested.

Now she's crying because she has no car, no house. She's upset that she could be prison because of this. Worried she's going to be in jail... "I have a daughter."

Her daughter was on the ski team at Walker's and they practiced at Sundown. She knew it very well, helped out on field trips.
Yet she said she didn’t know Sundown and called it a creepy place?

Defendant says she told FD she was leaving him. Two years of torture. She's not used to conflict. But he begged her not to leave him.

For those that aren't from the area here are some images of Ski Sundown. Its a small local hill and I don't think I would call it 'creepy', its a casual place for locals, its not a glamour spot and doesn't pretend to be. MT was used to larger operations in both SA and CO and so this small operation probably wasn't something she might have been familiar with imo. For point of comparison here is link to ski resort owned by the family of MT Baby Daddy in Argentina: cerro castor ski resort Home | Cerro Castor.

I'll have to listen again, but she called the property that they went to where they met with a man was creepy. It had a "table saw as big as this table" and other equipment.

Guilt? Guilt requires conscience. Reflection. Empathy. Insight.
I think it's something more akin to panic, anxiety. Testxiety. She's trying to get her answers right.
IMO, no guilt, no remorse bubbling to the surface.
Her only genuine emotion is how this impacts her.

It strikes me that she is so used to lying. If she gets caught in a lie, she pivots to either emotion/defensiveness/head in hands or she changes the subject to something totally inane.
She is skilled at not answering the questions head on. I bet this has "worked" for her to a degree her whole life since she devotes a lot of energy to talking in circles.
Getting to the bottomline with this woman would be exhausting bc she wants to wear you out - thats her game.

Fotis asked her, don't be surprised if you become a mother of 6.

When the custody report came out, favorable to him.

Brings up bipolar.

They ask defendant if she ever saw Jennifer unfit with the kids. She never met her.

Saw her only one time.

And when discussions get tough, she seems to always insert something about “her” daughter…just an observation

[In describing the only time she saw Jennifer, she says Jennifer was trying to take her picture. To demonstrate, the defendant GRABBED THE DETECTIVE'S phone off the table! The audacity!!!!]

I will need to rewatch video of this morning's proceedings.

For those familiar with Ski Sundown, near Canton. Is there a small lumber bill on some wooded acreage with a pond or on a river anywhere nearby? Or, a furniture maker? Some place that might have a lumber saw and other "scary looking equipment" (maybe a planer...).

Would a scraper with razor (looked like Stanley model 28-500) like one found in the trash bin on Albany Ave be used to scrape fleshy material off a lumber saw after it was used?
There's a scout camp owned by the same people that own Ski Sundown I believe.

They ask her if Fotis wanted to do something to Jennifer, who did he ask for help?

Mark and Andreas.

They ask her about Kent.

Ask her if she knows FD invited Kent's wife to their house.

Thanks. I misunderstood.
