Alibi Statement phone calls-
Yesterday JS tried to introduce phone call from/to Bruja - which he indicated is Spanish for “witch”
There was an objection and “witch” just hung there- unanswered /unexplained. JS was clearly trying to give his own testimony and he was prevented.
Apparently, according to the google, in Latin America bruja is reference to witchcraft, voodoo, the occult … I am wondering how JS was going to spin MT phone contact with a witch into “healthy mother” attributes. Or maybe it’s her trying to explain the “yellow thing on a stick” (apparently how MT describes a swifter)

I prefer to think MT has an actual witch on speed dial ..

Noted that during cross, and previous to the drone footage JS tried the old mini violin playing again, when he was asking the detective about who was present at 4JC when the house was being seized. JS actually asked the witness, " Was that the mother of Michelle Troconis? " Then, when responded to with a yes, JS actually wanted the witness to "Point out where she is in the gallery". This was immediately objected to by State, and the judge quickly responded with, " The mother is NOT on trial".

IMO, He wanted to illicit sympathy, and perhaps to attempt to alleviate any questions, regarding the possible/ probable cause of gallery disputes which were admonished loudly just prior.

This dude really has an uphill battle.....drone footage or not.

Agreed. But even before the useless video none of his meanderings made any points for his client. All of his points questions statements were unnecessary and inconsequential
-Electric vs roll up windows ? Hello ?

-utility easement is that gravel ?
-two means of egress in the Manaforts driveway - do u see that?
- Litchfield is 45 minutes and they drove home in the DARK?

I can see it right now if I am MT - I have gone thru 2 yrs if what I think is hell - Fotis tells me everything is now taken care of and i find myself being fingerprinted and living in a hotel with my mother daughter and media everywhere.
This getting caught was def not part of the agreement.
My God she should have made a deal from the beginning.

I also liked that the state asked JS if he was done with one of the last photographs displayed in the court. The photo where MT had her arm draped on her daughter's shoulder (concern and mothering being displayed). The photo remained viewable while JS was asking all sorts of questions not relatable to the photo. I think it was a good call asking for it to be closed.

My sense from listening to this “cross testimony” is that TP is “double dipping” in his “cross testimony” to get info for his lawsuits against the State of CT for the raid on 4Jx or a possible additional lawsuit by Mama t against state of CT.

I can't judge too hard if she has her mother in her phone as Bruja. One of my friends has her mother in her phone as "Stalin." I have literally no idea why, but it's been that way for years, her mother is aware, and their relationship isn't contentious or anything.

I think you're correct about trying to elicit sympathy, especially since the state asked if they were done with the photo of MT hugging her daughter with her mother next to her as soon as they could.
