Something about Fotis posting on a Greek blog.
Colangelo was all over it.
Does anyone remember this defense attorneys name?

Fotis sounded like he was out of breath.

He was, or is, Norm Pattis’s law partner. It was my opinion that Kevin Smith disliked fD, probably because Dulos only wanted to be dealing with Norm Pattis. I think KS dropped the ball with fD on the day he gassed himself, when NP was in Washington-and I don’t necessarily think either of them were too sorry about it, since fD was out of money, and appeared to be headed straight for the Big House.

He looked pretty upset after FD killed himself.Maybe because he dropped the ball, as you say?

It was his fault, in a way-he should have picked fD up and taken him to Stamford, but he probably didn’t want to spend that much time as a captive audience of Fotis’s, listening to him 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 about having to rely on the junior partner, with the possibility of being locked up that day, and never getting out. I can just hear the conversation in my head. I do sometimes wonder if KS offered to drive him, but fD turned him down.

Smith seems to have his own firm now in New Haven. I posted link above. I believe they both were sued by GF and are both barred from speaking about case for 40 years. Wonder if the split with Pattis was amicable or not....

Yes, I agree with that as Smith was supposed to drive FD to court appearances. But, I also recall there being some issue with State Police also providing escort and they didn't seem to be there on the suicide day either. FD was alone and frankly I'm not sure how that happened? Did FD tell Smith he could drive on his own to Court? We know from news reports that FD sent Anna Curry away for an errand (believe it was groceries iirc).

From Search Warrant: JF Suburban found in Waveny did have an active OnStar account per the Search Warrant.

So.... did he take time to scoop up the Mercier into the Suburban before hitting Waveny or did he trackback in the Tacoma?

Its interesting that the search warrant for the JF Suburban states that a LE call to OnStar confirmed activity on the murder date but that additional paperwork would have to be submitted to get the full activity for the date. Will post back in the event its in the documents I'm looking at now but my suspicion is that it would have been withheld by the State pending completion of the investigation but this is pure speculation on my part.

Good news (possibly) here is that LE marked the Search Warrant indicating that 2 discs of information had been received from OnStar for the murder date 4/24/19. No indication what was contained on the discs but I hope it might provide some information to assist in closing the 40 min gap in the NC timeline.

May be mistaken, but wasn’t AC planning to drive him there, then FD sent her to the bank & said he’d drive himself? I’ll check. ETA: Here’s what I found: Police Release Report on Investigation Into Death of Fotis Dulos

Norm was onto Bigger and Better things. Alex Jones deep pockets. Fotis served his purpose.

Here’s an article about the investigation into his suicide. About halfway down it goes into what AC said and what KS said….take from it what you will

Police Release Report on Investigation Into Death of Fotis Dulos
I wish the entire report was available as I'm not seeing the account published by NBC-CT making much sense. AC said that she knew that FD had harmed himself but she didn't call 911 or check the garage after being told by KS that FD was at 4JX but she then calls KS and asks him to call 911 and she says he refused. KS later refutes this statement and says at the time he was in the office of Atty Colangelo and that PD and Probation were on their way to 4JX. AC then asks KS again if she should call 911 and was told that PD and Probation were on their way and so it appears she never called 911.

Search Warrant Info on the Red Tacoma and Luminol and KM testing results. Can't wait (NOT) to see what "Esteemed Defence Counsel" makes of these test results. "Junk Science" is still on my bingo card so perhaps we will be treated to that wonderful phrase again which sadly Judge R didn't have stricken from the record the last time it was uttered in Court.

Do wonder if the blood in the Red Tacoma came from bags containing radishes and hamburgers left in the vehicle as lunch for FD?????? OR, will confirmatory tests indicate that the blood belongs to JF?

Another detail from Search Warrants that I didn't recall regarding JF Cellphone. Verizon phone of JF pinged at 11:09am at a cell tower located approximately 1 mile from Waveny.

Search Warrant detail: LE suspect an accomplice in NC so request Google Maps search data.
Later notation that nothing was returned. I wonder if they did warrant for Waze?

For a giddy second, I thought that was positive for  Kent  Mahwinney.

Aren't those separate events? One regarding JFd's ping and the other, FD's?
