[I predicted it yesterday. I said JS was going to object to himself. Today he objects to his own exhibit. Understandable. As he had just assembled it. Probably hadn't read that part. Yeesh.]

Is it Belra? They would likely have that info, right?
Burla? He was driving his Suburban, not the Raptor, so likely no. His phone though perhaps.

Woohoo - DNA time!

Let's nab her beigeness.

This witness is prepared. Did you see those big binders?

I'm sure there's SOMETHING that tracked him, right?

Witness says that they do not re-test. Because they don't want to waste the sample.

They refer to presumptive testing as screening.

They use screening tests and confirmatory.

Confirmatory -- immunological test -- detects a protein in human red cells

And another detects human hemoglobin

"Human blood indicated" because it also detects for certain higher primates

Prediction: The squirrel in JD's garage is going to turn into a ferret since their screening test could indicate human blood when it is actually a ferret.

I am starting to think we may need an ‘ineffective counsel‘ on the Bingo card? MOO….

Objection! Overruled. :)

Witness says that, when an item came in as KM positive, no further testing was done.

JS objected, vague

Judge says, complex

Witness answered following Judge re-asking the question

The middle bonus box on the card is this image below that I think could be made to cover your astute “ineffective counsel” issue but I’m glad to add “ineffective counsel” too as it’s a very real issue….seems like TP is melting down and his lack of prep is showing! MOO

The hole in the shirt near the breast pocket was a cutting taken by Ms. Roy for testing.

  • #96
Striped shirt

Witness identified "area of damage" -- area of damage from neck to hem (they don't speculate on cause of damage)

The defect (hole) in the shirt was from her cutting

Tested positive for human blood (used the protein test)

  • #97
The bra

Identifying the area of damage at the center front

Screening test for blood was positive, sent it on for DNA, later took a cutting and used a confirmatory test indicating human blood

A jarring morning- going from JS gratuitous focus on size of chocolate bunnies, whether the supervisor ate any Greek birthday cake, and salad ingredients, to showing JFDs blood soaked shirt and bra again.
Jury is not going to have a good lunch today…

Well said....could not have brought things back to reality any better!
