You’d be amazed at how “high on the hog” some people can live, without the money to back it up. I work for a family like this in North Salem NY-2 Mercedes Benz with a Range Rover that is only there to pull their horse trailer, horses, private school, etc...and sometimes she’s dodging the veterinarian’s calls about a balance due, or dreading an emergency blacksmith call. These are definitely all first world problems, of course, but my point is that whatever your income is, you pretty much spend all of it, and even rich people are always on the verge being one month away from financial “disaster”. And they have things structured so that it looks like they have nothing in case of divorce or a lawsuit. This guy may only have some assets to sell in a case of divorce, putting him out of business. Some of his things may be leased, and so he can’t sell them to split up the money. You get the picture...
There are also a lot of people who have money and don't live that way or those who shelter their money into corporations and keep it separate from marital assets. If he can afford a summer in Greece and Spain and trips to Argentina (from article above) he's not broke or over extended - he's trying to keep it away from his STBX wife. MOO

I think I read upthread they had to surrender their passports during the divorce litigation?
I read that as well. However, it is possible to get fake passports or passports from another country if you hold dual citizenship (I read that in one of the articles). Also he could have resources to bypass that in Argentina (it sounds crazy but its possible with the level of corruption I have researched). If he gets the kids, I would definitely see him as a flight risk. MOO

Thinking about this for awhile makes me ask.
Why, if the blood in the home suggests she was killed or at least injured there, would he take her in daylight hours to a public park and park on the public road then carry her body into the park and dispose of it. How could he carry a body into that park in the middle of the day and not be seen? But, the police are back at the park again today so they must think she is there.
Or, she is buried somewhere nearer to her home and the car planted at the park, then why is LE back looking at the park today?
Other than the car, what brings LE back to Waveny Park?

They will find out who did this....cameras are everywhere/cell phone data/dna

After expanding their search for Jennifer Dulos to her parents’ property in Pound Ridge, N.Y., authorities were back in the Waveny Park area on Friday.

Police handed out flyers for about three hours in the area of Lapham Road behind Waveny Park where Dulos’ black Chevy Suburban was found last Friday night.

A source close to the investigation said divers planned to search the nearby shallow pond in Waveny Park.

Jennifer Dulos investigation returns to New Canaan park

Now missing for a whole week.

Yes, but now I am wondering where she went after the drop off of the kids last Friday - I believe this is the last confirmed sighting IIRC? If she went home, and he was there - and the found blood and other evidence has led police to think homicide, then what happened and where? I think it is possible she was knocked out and put inside a vehicle that was parked in the garage perhaps? People forget to change their garage door codes/openers and if he had access still - he could have pulled in closed the door and disabled it if she ordinarily parked inside. Then tackled her (we don't know where the blood was found yet) and put her in the vehicle and driven away. However, he would have had to return to move her car to the park. As we know, this is all in daylight and before 11am. That's a pretty tight window IMO. I think there was a specific plan.

Something is compelling them back to the park IMO.
She disappeared last Friday, May 24 after dropping the children off (looking for drop off time) - missed an 11am appointment - so the drop off time and the 11am appt is the window IMO.

Since FD never lived in the New Canaan house, I doubt very much he had access or knowledge of the code nor had a remote control to open the garage door.

Jennifer may have left a door unlocked or a window open.

Or possibly a window was broken to get inside before Jennifer returned.

Or maybe she was attacked before she entered her house.

Or by someone hiding in the bushes next to the garage and then got inside garage as soon garage door was opened and JD drove in.

I definitely think someone was either already inside, when Jennifer returned from dropping kids off at school... or was lurking/waiting from bushes or trees for her return.

I keep wondering how that someone actually got onto the property.

Was he dropped off? Did he drive himself? Did he walk onto property from the wooded area in back of house?

MOO

She lived in a rented house so its unlikely that he had access to the garage, however...there are devices that you can buy that will cycle frequencies to open garage doors, so that's a possibility. I believe she was attacked when she came home and its possible that SBTX got his GF to help, dress like her (its been done before) and move the vehicle while he disposed of her body elsewhere. Being a rental house, she could have CCTV installed without the owner's permission since most of them now are not permant devices but wifi (which can also have the signal blocked/disrupted/offline with a frequency modulator). I was thinking he had access due to visitation during the two years the divorce was litigating? I also believe whoever it was knew her schedule and waited for her to come home - perhaps to change for her 11am appointment? The houses are set back and quite large - I think if a vehicle was parked there, someone in the neighborhood may have noticed IMO.

I read last night in an article posted here that visitation had to be in a public place. I agree they knew her schedule. Areas with houses like that are set back to avoid people seeing cars coming and going, in my experience. JMO

I wonder if cadaver dogs made a hit on her SUV, indicating that her body had been in the car, But, how in the world did he get a body of her size into the pond in daylight hours with no one seeing? Why do they think she is there in the park somewhere?

She may have been killed in the daylight hours and disposed of (pardon the insensitive term) in the dark of the night. MOO

It’s certainly possible.

Most killers don’t like to hold on to bodies though.

I think the killer most likely transported the body in Jennifer’s vehicle, and dumped it somewhere.

He may have then dumped the car where it was found.

It’s also possible that the car dump site is where her body is.

The passports that were surrendered.....I hope this guy doesn't have an EU passport he's hiding if he surrendered an American one.
I have 3 passports and I don't know if one country knows of the others.
Though I expect Jennifer would have informed the courts that he had 2, if he did.

I was wondering about exactly this
