Knowing the area, I highly doubt that STBX was involved with this site, if in fact she is there. However, someone could have been hired to dispose of her there.

That Hartfort Currant says they were searching a storm drain in front of Scott’s Jamaican bakery.

Can someone update me on how far this is from the Farmington home where blood was found and the park where her vehicle was found.

People love to throw murder weapons in storm trains. It’s almost cliche.

Someone may be talking, or there’s surveillance footage or cell data that puts a suspect there.

A dumpster and a storm drain? I want her to be found but it's going to be so sad.

I feel like she won't be found but evidence will be. I think it's a hired hit. MOO.

Detectives were searching through the dumpster on Woodland Street across from the Exxon gas station. CSP cruisers are parked along a residential neighborhood on Homestead Avenue

Now a helicopter is there

Maybe 10 miles. Albany avenue is a bit rough.

I think so too - and the hired hitman might have been sloppy. Left blood in the home and evidence in a dumpster and drain. Hooray for sloppiness - hope this is a trail that leads right to the perps and to recovering Jennifer.

Noticed on Facebook that he has blocked access to his friends (an overnight change) and his paramour has removed her account entirely since yesterday. Probably nothing to this but then again if I were a friend of either I wouldn’t want the public to know...Just saying...
Saw this too but I had been tracking the account and it appeared IMO that people had unfriended him in droves. He went from over 1,000 followers to less than a hundred before the privacy screen was changed and it became invisible.

It’s possible, but hired hitmen don’t generally clean crime scenes and remove bodies.

The purpose of hiring someone is to provide distance between yourself and the victim, and mask your involvement.

So generally, it’s not necessary to take those extra steps.

Would workers have breakfast/lunch at the bakery....like construction workers, perhaps?

I think it could be her cell phone and/or purse... they never mentioned finding either in her vehicle

That's not exactly a vote of confidence from his friends group.

Good point. I was thinking just about a weapon, but that definitely works too.

I really don't know. I suppose so. But I doubt there is any construction going on in the city. Hartford, despite all the wonderful other towns near there, has been in decline for years.

Do we know who has it?
We don't technically have a stmt from LE but the Hartford Courant article referenced cell phone records and credit card activity being checked but just said sources close to the investigation. Hopefully we will find this out in a press conference soon or as NCPD said, "...in due course...".

He could have done it himself and cleaned up the house but paid someone who works for him in construction to dispose of evidence and or her.

I apologize if this has already been posted. On Jennifer's Twitter account I noticed that she Liked a tweet saying this:

"We will not mourn, we will organize. Maybe we are about to be free."

And while the original poster surely meant that post as political... In light of current events it just really touched my heart. Wherever Jennifer is, I hope she is free. Free of the pain and worry she apparently was suffering for the last couple of years. Though I realize her many loved ones are likely just beginning a very painful journey. MOO

I would hope that the hearing will be postponed pending an understanding of why Jennifer is missing. No activity on phone and bank accounts suggests that she is no longer alive, but the custody hearing suggests that she has many reasons to live.
@otto so glad to see you have joined the case!!! We had questions about what info could be gained from the GPS in the Suburban that JD was driving and that was found parked near Waveny Park. Similar to the DNV case the Suburban seems to come standard with OnStar but we weren't sure about any other GPS tracking that might come in the Suburban. In my experience the Suburban can have many bells and whistles depending on the trim package chosen and I couldn't figure out which model she had of the available trim packages for the 2017 model year.

seems pretty specific - I am thinking they either have cell phone pings leading them to 255 Homestead or someone is talking... (or a tip?) JMO
