Police Using Camera Surveillance, Warrants In Search For Missing Mom Of Five

"The New Canaan Police and Connecticut State Police are continuing the search for Jennifer Dulos and for evidence related to the disappearance of Jennifer," New Canaan Police Department Lieutenant and Investigative Commander Jason Ferraro said on Saturday, June 1. "This search has expanded beyond New Canaan into other towns and cities in Connecticut.

"The criminal investigation into this case is continuing and it does involve securing search warrants. No comment at this time will be offered on details relating to locations of search warrants or details of what items are listed on the search warrants."
Fortunately for us, people within the investigation are leaking.

Law enforcement won’t be happy, but atleast we have an idea what is going on.

They seem to have a lot of information to pore over, which is a good thing.

Fox61 has been on site since early AM -- I believe reporter may have heard something "off the record" and messed up. Carmen going back to re-tweeting her colleague Dave Puglisi. MOO
Carmen Chau Fox 61 along w/ her photographer went to FD's home on thurs. and knocked on door, no one answered but FD
called 911 and reported them. LE showed up and requested they
not trespass again.
She also reported Ct. State Police had two cars at his home Friday
for several hours awaiting FD's arrival.
So the evidence was coming together on Friday.
Kudos to Carmen Chau for getting the details out.

Yeah. There are some solid reporters working on this case.

Well connected ones too.

Dave Altimari, the investigative reporter with the Hartford Courant, is probably the best.

Yes, and I do think that the "leaks" here by LE may very well be both intentional and strategic.

Dribble out just enough information to let the guilty party know that LE has him/them in their crosshairs, but not so much that it jeopardizes their investigation.

They're definitely making this guy sweat.
He probably has to change his shirt several times a day.
Not to mention his underwear.
Speaking of dribbling....dude might want to go pick up some Depends.

The nature of what they're releasing may also lead to the public in the search areas to be more alert to noticing anything suspicious and reporting it to LE, i.e., strange odor coming from dumpster, trash bag that doesn't belong to them, etc.

Not sure if posted here
State police obtain DNA samples from estranged husband of Jennifer Farber Dulos, missing New Canaan mother of five
Housekeeper entered Jennifer’s home at noon and found it empty

Narrows the window in which she went missing. Not much time for her to get back home from school drop off (8am?) and blood to have been cleaned up (by 12pm when housekeeper entered house)

That’s incredibly tight.

Assuming that she was accosted as soon as she got home (which I think is likely), that’s not much time to work with.

What’s great about knowing the timeframe, is that it will allow them to hone in on the locations of those close to her during a specific period of time.

If you’re the husband, and you’re off the grid for those hours, that’s not good.

Oh, let me just take a wild guess here....how much do you want to bet he was with the side piece during the critical window of time in question?

I don’t want to seem like I’m obsessed with this case, but I haven’t done much else this morning.

I’m embarrassed to say I’m still in my nightgown (but it can pass as a sundress) and I just cancelled 3 plans for this afternoon (1. going to the gym, 2. swimming laps for an hour, and 3. coffee with a friend).

I don’t want to miss a presser or any important news reports.

ETA: It’s only 12:45p here, I’m retired, living in AZ now.... and can do whatever I want to do! :)

Haaaaaa. We’ll just call it “dedication,” and not “complete obsession.”

Twitter is the best way to keep up with what is going on. I just keep entering “Dulos,” and reading the latest Tweets.

The police have to be on FD like flies on poop.

He was an abuser. She was a fighter. He killed her. I hope the police find evidence ASAP.
