Thank you for this - but this is the murder case, and I was wondering what the Federal case - the child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 charges - he was in trial - did he get convicted on those charges? TIA!

@Seattle1 - not too sure if you are following this case - but he (Marc J. Karun) is in Federal court for child p-rn charges & possession of a gun with obliterated serial # - and you are good at looking up Federal cases for me - was wondering IF the trial is still ongoing - or if he was found guilty - and sentenced or a sentencing date?

Case # is U.S. District, State of Maine #1:21-cr-00028-JAW & #1:19-cr-00204-JAW

*Disposition Hearing (Murder) (@ 10am ET) – CT – Kathleen Marie Flynn (11) (missing on Sept. 23, 1986, Ponus Ridge, Norwalk, found Sept. 24, 1986 in the woods behind Ponus Ridge Middle School) - *Marc J. Karun (21 @ time of crime/53/now 57) – arrested (6/12/19 for a fugitive from justice warrant in Stetson, ME), charged (6/14/19) & arraigned (8/12/19) with capital murder with special circumstance, 1st degree kidnapping & sexual assault. Plead not guilty. $5M bond.
DNA Match; Karun faces a life sentence without the possibility of parole if convicted.
*Was in federal custody in his home state of Maine U.S. District Court where he is accused of illegally storing an arsenal of firearms (60 weapons & 15K rounds of ammunition); in total, Karun owned 34 pistols, 14 rifles, 11 revolvers & one 12-gauge shotgun.
Trial set to begin on 8/2/22 & 8/3/22 with jury selection.

So... since he has a hearing scheduled AFTER his supposed trial that is supposed to start on 8/2 with jury selection - I guess that trial got continued... ??
