Autopsy results released as police continue search for Ansonia toddler

Meanwhile Ansonia police, now bolstered by the entire Derby detective bureau as well as the State Police Major Crime Squad and FBI, continued to canvas the neighborhood Wednesday and conducted multiple searches.

Was just coming to post this. I already had a gut feeling how this would end, as much as I desperately hoped it wasn't the case. And this does nothing to reassure me. Praying!

I had hoped if it was someone known to her, the baby would be spared. But this is looking more like little Neveah.....

Yes, this probably won’t end well. Heartbreaking. I’m sure LE knows a lot they are not telling for sake of investigation.

Oh no... The Amber Alert gave me a false sense of hope since it would be a waste of resources if they KNEW VM was gone, but this brings me back to tragic reality...

As for the family member possibly getting arrested that was brought up during the presser, you can look up pending court cases in CT. Maybe that's where the info the reporter had came from. Mom and Dad haven't officially been IDed yet, but there was an arrest Tuesday in New Haven for unrelated charges of someone with a family name. We can only theorize who it is since we have no official confirmation of family, but it's public knowledge if you look (which reporter may have done or may have been tipped to do).
