It was confirmed by officials Wednesday that the woman who died was Venessa's mother, Christine Holloway.

A medical examiner announced Wednesday that Holloway's cause of death was blunt force trauma.

"We the family would like to ask for everyone in our communities and beyond us to help bring baby Vanessa home safely," said Anna, aunt of Morales.

So we know JM wasn’t suppose to have stun guns or any weapons because he is a convicted felon.
Has anyone been able to find what his charge was that granted him the felony charge to begin with?

Only thing reported in MSM thus far is JM has prior felony convictions (plural).
He's not a POI -- posting current media reports only.

Police said Morales has prior felony convictions, and therefore cannot legally possess a firearm, stun-type weapon or ammunition...

It absolutely could. Derby Ave/Route 34 eventually runs through West Haven for a short time before turning into New Haven. The route you would take completely depends on WHERE in West Haven you would be going.

I'm fairly sure I have mapped all the locations mentioned in the Twitter from about an hour ago, if this is helpful for anyone. The locations are mapped in the order given and seem to make a fairly logical route.

Criminal court records are public in CT though for anyone curious. As I said earlier though, JM's name isn't exactly uncommon, so you can't assume everything you see is necessarily VM's dad.

Nice! The only thing to note would be that your map doesn't go to the end of Main Street. I noticed because it made me realize the new route they're asking for (Main Street) is exactly where the route they asked for of Derby Avenue starts. Division Street.

This is a weird one. In a standard domestic murder, you’d expect the child to be unharmed, as the grievance is between the parents, and has nothing to do with the child.

She’s also too young to pose any sort of danger to him (telling people what happened).

My fear, is that he didn’t know what to do (assuming daddy is responsible). He couldn’t leave the baby unattended for (potentially days), and giving the baby to someone else would be incriminating.

If that’s what happened, I would have expected this person to have come forward by now, or law enforcement to have figured it out on their own.

So I’m feeling less than confident that she is alive and well.

I really don't think she's alive, and I hate myself for saying it. Will I ever be overjoyed with happiness if she is safe somewhere.

Also interesting: The report says JM was last with CH and VM Friday "or possibly Saturday."
