Well, time for them to spit out this new information, if the public can be of any assistance.

I'm wondering if they have evidence that she may be deceased, hence why they're not letting this information out just yet.
I thought same thing when I saw they believe she’s in CT.

Basically same info but a different cousin speaks toward the end

This makes sense, but that date is prior to his felony or any records of jail time he served. Could it be a typo? Or a way of stating NO special parole?

Not sure. Do we know for sure his only conviction was in 2012 or know how far the online records go back?

I so hope I am wrong, @imstilla.grandma . I would rather that poor sweet baby be alive and well.

Just saw that her cousin said she is lactose intolerant. If someone does have her, I hope they know this information already. she would suffer immensely if she wasn't fed properly. :(

“We continue to investigate leads and do follow ups and would like to thank the community for all their support in our efforts to bring baby Vanessa home to her family,” said Ansonia Police Lt. Patrick Lynch on Saturday.

Lynch has provided daily updates on the case, which started for Ansonia police with a call for a welfare check at 6 1/2 Myrtle Ave. on Monday at 12:56 p.m. for a woman who didn’t show up to work or call in sick.

I wish that her family would call her by her name- her name is Vanessa!

Good to see them all out trying to find her, though.

Does the father look mean or what in that photo?

Oooph, that article explicitly used the phrase "beaten to death."

Yeah, that mugshot doesn't do him any favors.

A search of CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF A PISTOL DF brought me here:
Criminal possession of a pistol or revolver: Class D felony.
2011 Connecticut Code :: Title 53a Penal Code :: Chapter 952 Penal Code: Offenses :: Sec. 53a-217c. Criminal possession of a pistol or revolver: Class D felony.

thank you for this. I was following in the beginning but got lost on the discussion of the different discussions.
My main point is that MSM specifically detailed 2 stun guns, their locations of each and clearly this particular charge he has doesn’t apply to stun guns. So I thank you for the clarification.

That's actually a good question. I just threw a few generic names into the search, and the earliest sentencing dates I'm seeing are 2010.

It takes a lot of personal rage and hate for someone to do that to another person.

I'm confused. Is this today's update or are we still waiting?

Not only would she suffer, but she would be much more work for the caregiver. If whoever has her wasn’t prepared to deal with a miserable, cranky baby, that could bode even worse for Vanessa. And 15-month olds are often developing stranger anxiety (if she’s with someone unfamiliar to her)

Agree. It's painful for them, stomach bloats out, gas, diarrhea. Poor little darling.

Every day that goes by makes me think this will be a case of Occam's Razor. :(
