Casey Anthony’s attorney Cheney Mason files an appeal to dismiss the charges she faces for lying to law enforcement.

Casey's lawyers filed an appeal with the Fifth District Court of Appeals in Daytona Beach which deal with the outstanding four counts Anthony was convicted of lying to law enforcement officers.

The appeal was filed around 1:30 p.m. In it, Casey Anthony's lawyer, Cheney Mason claimed Casey gave the statements in question to Law Enforcement officers in 2008 before she was even read her Miranda rights by any of Orange County Sheriff's investigators. The court determined those statements were lies.

Prosecutor Linda Drane Burdick looks mighty glamorous on the June cover of Orlando Home & Leisure. Colleagues raved that Burdick looks younger and slimmer than a year ago during the Casey Anthony trial.
Burdick agreed to appear in the magazine's report on top female lawyers. A feature by Randy Noles recaps Burdick's career before turning to the Anthony case. Kudos to Noles for getting any views from the reticent Burdick, who declined to discuss Anthony's acquittal in her daughter's death.

"I just wanted to do a good job for Caylee," Burdick says. "During the trial, I watched and read absolutely nothing. I didn't need to hear any more opinions."

recent rumors that she now "weighed 500 pounds" were ridiculous, with Mason adding that "it's doubtful that she weighs 120 pounds."

Morgan drew 502,000 viewers to his CNN show, “Piers Morgan Tonight,” and placed third in cable news. Fox News Channel’s “Hannity” brought in nearly 2 million viewers. MSNBC’s “Rachel Maddow” had 651,000 viewers.

Boo-hoo-hoo Casey Anthony.

Casey is holed up in some home somewhere having a big pity-party. Poor Casey. She is bemoaning the fact that she is in another prison. Only instead of an actual jail cell this time she is in a house. Well, Casey, if this is indeed another prison, nobody put you there but yourself. There is no one else to blame for your current situation.

Back to her comments to Piers Morgan. Casey had an occasional moment of clarity saying she was stupid. Great! I’m glad you are finally seeing yourself as others see you. But it doesn’t erase the facts of the case. You said you did not kill your daughter. Please, Casey, tell us what did happen to your daughter. Because no one believes your story about her drowning.

You owe it to your dad, who you squarely placed blame on, to tell the truth. You owe it to your mom, who you put through hell, to tell the truth. You owe it to your whole family to tell us what really happened that day.

As to your current effort to clear your name of lying to police… how dare you! The majority of people think you got away with something terrible and now you insult our intelligence by denying you lied to police.

JB is representing Charlie Ely in her appeal case. Recall that Ely was the one that lured the victim (15 year old Seath Jackson)to her house where he was shot, mutilated, burned in a fire pit,and his remains scooped into 5 gallon buckets and disposed of in a quarry.

She has refused to testify in court against others involved and has instead given a recorded interview to prosecutors which will be playedin court.

Casey Anthony’s “Righteous Indignation” In Pierce Morgan Alleged Conversation
May Reflect Signal of Deception If Interview Did Take Place

Piers Morgan the lowest rated host on the failing low rated CNN stooped to an all time low in what appears to possibly be an attempt to gain ratings by having an alleged phone call with Casey Anthony that he reports.........

In terms of statement analysis the fact that she uses the word ”Obviously “ at the beginning of the sentence is clearly telling in my view. It sounds as though she is appalled that anyone can think she was the one who killed her daughter. It shows righteous indignation which in my view often can be a signal of deception..........................
It also sounds like something Cheney Mason would possibly say.

Her statement that she’s “never been a party girl” is contracficted by her statement I don’t drink now. This disjointed logic and thinking is often seen in sociopaths.

Also the term “handful of beers” to me sounds like something Cheney would say. Casey in her sloppy vernacular would most like say “a few beers” nor ”a handful” . ”A handful” seems like a more formal or old fashioned term used by an older person in a different generation than Casey.
