Whoa! JT will have to have a Missouri lawyer on the case as he isn't licensed to practice in Missouri or Kansas.

Wonder who it will be?

I sense drama today!

I think it will be another interesting day.

I am thinking JT wasn't too happy about the house tour and the interview of the boys.

The phone lady's initials are MW. 50 second call that went to voicemail. No info on what the voicemail said or if it was JI or DB that made the call.

If it was an intruder who knew the family and friends it could have been a pocket dial or it could have been someone who knows the same people.

Here is my question..what woman would be so well known that you could call and say "help me hide a baby, i killed her" if you were the parent.ETA bc its rare to find two women who will bury a baby.

I could see a pocket dial much more easily.

IMO if there was a voicemail that was from DB or JI, one or both would be sitting in jail on suspicion at this moment.

Very interesting, thank you for posting this. Another lie yet in the case of missing baby Lisa.. I wonder who this MW is, and no I am not sleuthing her, just wondering relative, friend, etc. I wonder if it is possible that either CS was getting to big for her britches or if she thinks the family is guilty so she is gone.. I think its most likely instance 1 there. I guess JT better get here. CPS hopefully will come take the kids from the home.. LE needs to get off their butts now and do something serious.

I dont think it could have been a pocket dial because the woman said it went to voice mail and a 50 second phone call sounds like a message was most likely left. As JJ said, there is a bit we dont know. Apparently the police have been sitting on this and it just came out, so they are letting DB and JI weave themselves a tangled web. I just think its time to take the web down and throw them behind bars.

Phones couldn't dial out per DB/JI because of a restriction because bills weren't paid. The fact a 50 sec. connection/call was made, proves that's a lie. Unless the unknown perp paid their phone bill.

All my opinion :twocents:

No, you are absolutely right, its another lie.. Might be why CS is not with them anymore. maybe she was questioning things.. Do you think it might be a defense atty with a conscience.. NOT.. Wonder why she was let go though. Once again JT better get back in town.. I think the police have their best chance right now to arrest them and maybe ask them questions, at least they will be able to get them in separate rooms which they apparently do not want to do. JT would have to get another lawyer there asap and well, in the hours they are waiting there for that to happen, who knows what might be said. JMO but I think its what LE needs to do.

This is REALLY interesting, the phone call. As others have said, was this a pocket call - that is, a number already in the phone, or did this number have to be manually dialed - not one of their friends?

Riveting.

Just a question though, what if the coming out publicly of this phone call had something to do with her being let go, CS that is???

It is very possible IMO that Ms. Short leaked the information about the call to the press.

How could it have been a pocket dial from the Irwin's phone? :waitasec: Wouldn't this woman's phone number needed to have been plugged into their phone in order to pocket dial it?

I've not heard of pocket dialing entire random phone numbers. :waitasec:

ETA: Sorry nursebeeme, I was typing as you were posting about taking the phone discussion to theother thread.

Agree, what a mess. It would be much easier for a defendant to get a fair trial if the defense attorneys did not immediately start trying to taint the jury pool with constant media appearances. And in this case there's no defendant to begin with, just an innocent baby girl who is the victim and whose name, LISA, is rarely mentioned by team defense.

Totally agree with you, it's all about the attorneys........I think I remember another case like this from earlier this yr.........like Nurse said, this is now just one big mess:furious:

That might have been the shortest run of daily press releases ever.

People will hate me for this but I say good for him. It was a cluster with her tours and daily press releases and exhaustion etc.

(eta Joe T. knows how to use the media and will use the media but he doesn't play the sort of games we just saw this week..he might drive people on the G side nutz but rarely does he make major mistakes in his use of them)

sort of OT but one of the few laughs I had in this case was Joe's eyes bugging out at the hang the posters on trees to thank the public presser

I couldn't disagree more about JT. He does play these sort of games and he made a fool of himself in the NH case with his praising of JVDS. I was floored when i heard some of the things he said in this case regarding DB, as some of his comments were almost word for word about JVDS in the NH case.

It's the media spotlight that calls him.

He wound up with egg all over his face then, I suspect he might wind up that same way again.

Well we have to agree to disagree.

ABC News is reporting that Kansas City attorney Cyndy Short is no longer representing the parents of missing 11-month-old Lisa Irwin.

ABC News reported on Friday morning that Short was forced off the case overnight. No other details were released.

:waitasec: So what I want to know is WHO "forced" Short off case ?

Did Short use this word ? JT ? or Reporter ?

"Forced off" seems like such a strong word to use to say that an attorney is no longer working a case ...

I believe that "something" is about to BREAK in this case ...

MOO MOO MOO ...
