Dear Auntie Cipation,
I cannot give you a comprehensive answer of everything that I am aware of. That would be a Herculean task. What happened here is diabolical. One or two sentences or paragraphs will not get you the complete answer. I will do my best, with more to come.
You have the autopsy, now read it very carefully. Then ask yourself: does the physiological profile of Jane Doe match an actively healthy Alice? Consider:
In January, 2012, one month before she “died” Alice was skiing the Italian Alps. Alice was continuing to live a very healthy and active lifestyle. In the attachment, that is Alice on your left wearing the black skiing helmet.
On the other hand, poor Jane Doe was suffering from emphysema, pulmonary edema, and cirrhosis: Jane Doe was a heavy smoker and a heavy drinker, and living with the consequences. Jane Doe should have been in intensive care at the local hospital, not on Alice’s bed with a ton of penicillin and sleeping pills, and alcohol. Was Alice playing doctor? Jane Doe was in no condition to go skiing the Alps, not even one month before her death.
Watch “A Simple Favor” yet? Hint: Alice was neither as drinker nor a smoker.
Au contraire, Alice was a “health nut”!
You:
“I'm curious whether Alice's husband and/or adult son have any explanation for the differing appearances.
For example do they say she had cosmetic surgery which might address facial differences? Or some illness or condition which could explain it?
Was either the husband or the son around her on a daily basis during those years between the older photo and the newer one?”
I believe that I have answered some of your questions. But:
Neither Alice’s husband, TB, nor Alice’s son, AAB, said or wrote anything to me or to my immediate family, at any time before or after Alice’s “death”.
TB gave a police witness statement; AAB did not.
I only briefly spoke with TB in 2001. I had a much better – actually fun – time with Alice when I visited her, again very briefly, in 2001.
Alice’s mom, Aunt Marie, died in 2007.
Then Alice “died” on March 4, 2012.
And then TB “died” on November 20, 2012. I can’t tell you enough about TB; for another day.
TB never contacted us during the interim between Alice’s “death” and his “death”.
TB’s older brother, MB, wrote to me that he never saw TB at the hospice or any time after TB came down ill from “ravaging cancers” (my paraphrase from a web article about TR’s death; to this day I cannot get a response back from the author).
All that MB got for $20,000 in attorney fees was an urn. He never even saw TB’s body before it was cremated.
Back to Alice:
Recall that the body is 2 inches shorter than Alice, so unless her plastic surgery included shortening her body height by 2 inches, that body belongs to somebody else. At least “logic” would dictate this conclusion. Of course the face isn’t Alice’s face. You can’t change certain features even with plastic surgery. Modern facial recognition software goes skull deep, not skin deep.
I have no information that Alice was in an accident which would have caused her to lose 2 inched of body height. None of the witnesses interviewed – and I am editing personal identifiers from witness statements as fast as I can in order to let you read what they said – mentioned that Alice lost 2 inches of body height from an accident or through plastic surgery or illness. As sick as the body was, if that body really was Alice, then Alice would have been in a hospital bed, not skiing the Alps!
As to Alice’s son, AAB:
According to his uncle MB, AAB moved in with MB his family for a very very short period time after TB died, then moved out and never contacted them again.
AAB never responded to any of my messages that I sent him.
AAB blocked me from accessing his Instagram and Facebook.
I am not aware that Alice ever got any plastic surgery, although she might just get it done now since I posted that 2019 siting.
Alice, TB and AAB were together quite a bit. You must beware who is telling what to the police. You will understand better when I release the edited witness statements and provide you with more background information.
You:
“I haven't seen the movie you refer to but I'm starting to think of fiction stories I've read where one person steps into the life of another person (after killing or hiding the person they are impersonating) but generally that only works if the person in question doesn't have close friends or family who would notice the person they see is now an imposter.”
Alice, her husband, and their son were very isolated from family. They had friends and au Pairs, but not family. Please share with me your thoughts why they isolated themselves from both sides of their respective families: you might be surprised now right you are.
You:
“In your initial post you say you learned through police records that the body was not Alice. Can you elaborate? Is it the police who say the body was not Alice (and if so, why do they think that?) or is it your own suspicion based on the differences in the photographs?”
The photographs were only one factor. Background information, behavior, the autopsy, the physiological profile of the body to that of Alice, and my first-hand knowledge, all play a part in my convictions that the body is not Alice. This was not a casual conclusion. It was heart-wrenching.
This past Friday I answered how I concluded that the body is not Alice. I can be wrong, but that is why I need your feedback. I added more here, because there is simply so much information.
If there are any WS members with forensics or LE experience in these sorts of cases, please share what you think or suggestions you may have. And if you have no such training or expertise, you can still take time to read the information and share what you wish, think, or suggest. I appreciate all feedback.
You:
“I apologize if I'm asking questions you've already addressed. I got a bit confused reading the earlier posts.”
No harm asking. Time allowing, I will refer you to previous posts. Remember, I hardly scratched the surface with the information that I want to share with you and the WS community. Jane Doe still needs Justice; she is somebody’s daughter, sister, mother, friend, cousin. She deserves to be reunited with her family, just like every Jane Doe and John Doe.
Thank you for your questions,
MyCousinAlice
