Dallas police delayed NFL player as relative died

This doesn't surprise me... a bad apple just keeps getting more rotten til it disintegrates...

It doesn't surprise me at all either. A power hungry bully like this didn't just wake up in a bad mood one day and decide to pull his gun on someone who rolled through a red light.

I'll bet there are people who've had run ins with this LOSER for years and didn't bother complaining b/c they didn't want to cause a stir or have their life examined.

And not even his own words either. The whole statement was probably written by the attorney. It sounds much too literate for Powell to have written it.

Good point. ITA.

Loser.

At the very end, did the cop say something to the affect of "we'll just say one for the red light".... that and the fact that the nurse came out to get him is what put me over the edge too...

Hey was saying that he was just giving him one ticket for the running of the red light - implying that he (the lame cop) was being a good egg and cutting Moats a break because he could have made his life so much worse.

The scariest thing about this cop's behavior is the fact that he did it while knowingly being videotaped - the fact that he "doesn't get it" runs deep.

Bet he was asked to resign in light of all of this. I think it's a good decision that he not wear a uniform and he certainly doesn't deserve a badge.

He had 13 minutes to realize he was being a rotten human being and he didn't. That's MORE than enough time.

I was just coming here wondering that same thing after re-reading his statement. Nice to know I'm not the only one.

This is what happens when people put on their work robot-mask and completely disconnect from what it's like to be a human among humans.
And, there are many robots in these positions.
