As a physician I believe Damar Hamlin was likely suffering from commotio cordis where a blow to the chest at a precise moment in the electrical cycle stops the heart. Those trying to tie this to vaccine status to project their unscientific beliefs are terrible, horrible people.

I've never seen anything like this, so tragically sad. The shock and obvious sorrow of the broadcasters was thick in the air. The fact that there are no replays to be found is very telling as well as the 11 straight minutes of commercials after Damar Hamlin collapsed. I'm sure I've ever seen a NFL game suspended like this

ABC stayed on the air for over a hour after DH collapsed. There was no filler talk about any other NFL games, just concern for Hamlin.

He is reportedly in critical condition right now. I do not expect to wake up to good news tomorrow.

God Bless Damar Hamlin and his family.

If it is commotio cordis… How do you feel his outcome will be with quick response of AED and CPR?

I’m personally very optimistic and hopeful for him and his family.

I’m praying for Tee Higgins as well. He was the Bengal involved (#85) He has to be going through a roller coaster of emotions. It didn’t look like any hit out of the ordinary. Hoping for a positive update soon.
