I wonder if DCSF will get involved now with the boys still being under her care.

Very disheartening to hear this. :(

Sounds plausible. So what could she have done at that point, being drunk and having a dead baby to hide.
The only thing I can think of is calling someone close, like a big brother, and pleading for help.

Again, I'm not sure why you are assuming someone else wasn't already there. :waitasec:

I've said this before, but the phones missing is a HUGE thing in this whole deal and when LE gets ahold of this info, it will be all over...sadly...

I agree that she is stating this now to buffer a further blow that is coming. I think several people know the truth. And I think LE may be included in that. Godspeed to them finding Lisa.

My interview w #BabyLisa's parents to air tomorrow @TodayShow. And, why she won't let her kids be re-intervu'ed by KCPD.45 seconds ago

bbm

Why does DB decide whether or not the older boy is interviewed? She is not related to that child. Makes me think JI is complicit in this or he would agree for his son to talk with LE.

Drunk could mean less tolerance for a crying baby. Drunk could mean not hearing a crying baby who had a cold and could have been congested. Drunk could mean that a baby gets too much medicine. Drunk could mean that someone passed out and left the baby somewhere the baby shouldn't have been left. Yes, drunk could mean that she didn't hear the person in the house but if she wants Lisa back why is she not letting her kids talk to the police so that they might be able to say what they might have heard of seen? If this is an abduction those children might have seen something.

There is no way LE has not talked to those kids, no way. They don't need either of the parents permiission to interview them. There are restrictions when an attorney is involved, but I've not seen this stated anywhere.

The tweet by Alexander about Deborah being drunk could be taken totally out of context, which is why I didn't start an entire thread when I posted it. Peter Alexander takes a lot out of context.

Well...... IF there was an intruder, he is the luckiest one in all of Kansas, possibly the United States.

1. Dad's first night to work the overnight shift
2. Mom left front door unlocked
3. Window was left open and screen was bent (?)
4. Black Lab outside in backyard and Dog did not bark.
5. Baby monitor is always on, yet mom did not hear anything
6. Little Lisa's bedroom door is closed
7. Various room doors are closed
8. various Lights are turned on
9. "Intruder" stumbles on 3 cell phones in the kitchen
10. "Intruder" takes Little Lisa and Mom does not wake up.

Intruder, my 🤬🤬🤬

You should add:
11. Mother gets drunk

I think you could make that the luckiest one in the world - and for all of history.

I wish Peter Alexander didn't tweet this information tonight and just surprise the world on Monday. Jeez!!! At least I wouldn't be so "ticked off" late in the night.

Move to Oregon! It's still a nice warm afternoon on the left coast. :D

Somebody had to think of this story!! How much time would they have had? moo:innocent:

No, your eyes are not deceiving you! I set my ray gun to "beam" and beamed over some posts from another thread. :kimsterwink:

Interesting development! I feel like a terrible sleuth by not putting the boxed wine purchase together with the probably she got drunk.

Like I said elsewhere, the ONLY reason I jumped on that immediately is because it's part of my personal experience. Growing up I often came home and found the exact same conditions as Jeremy described. And there was OFTEN an awful consequence to it.

Some people are responsible drinkers, some aren't. But to someone who lived with an irresponsible drinker, the signs are unmistakably burned in your memory for a lifetime. You fear those signs like it's the devil itself. And when you see them, you know.

(Ahem...sorry to sound so dramatic. Carry on.)

Perhaps the older boys have been taken out of school for the time being and kept close at hand. LE can't interview them unless they are in school or in a public place without the permission of the parents.

I can't figure out why he did. Is an arrest imminent?

Peter wouldn't know if an arrest is forthcoming.

Now that I think of it, Peter probably wanted a JUMP on Good Morning America's interview with the parents, so Peter leaked out about DB being drunk. The shows are on the same time and what an easy way to get the info out than to tweet it to millions of people to talk about it and watch The Today Show first.

I had heard reports that the neighbor left at 10:30. I assumed the neighbor was giving a true account of the evening as she knew it, so if someone else was still there she would have said as much. So I assumed that once the neighbor left, mom was there alone with her kids.

Yes, this could be a ploy for ratings just like the 'checkered' past. I will reserve judgement until I hear her explain just how drunk 'drunk' really is.
