Knew this was coming - was mother drinking alone or with friends I wonder.

I really appreciate you being here and giving us your input.:seeya:

I thought about the box of wine and have waffled back and forth for days.

imo

Not sure why you quoted my comment telling me to move to Oregon considering I live in Florida with warm weather.

I think she was merely pointing out the 3 hour time difference. While it will be late for you, it will still be early for us on the left coast.

I bet i know why peter tweeted it.

Dan is on ABC in morning with his interview. He leaked that so public would watch his interview on NBC in morning. HAHAHA! moo

Ratings war.

Yeah, I'm expecting some sort of tweet revelations from GMA here shortly to hype their product too.

I had heard reports that the neighbor left at 10:30. I assumed the neighbor was giving a true account of the evening as she knew it, so if someone else was still there she would have said as much. So I assumed that once the neighbor left, mom was there alone with her kids.

I wonder if this is why the neighbor is staying out of the press. She knows the state that DB was in when she left.

Do we know why Deborah doesn't drive? Does she have or has she had a valid driver's license? Is the fact that DB doesn't drive really a matter of not being insured as I've read in researched posts? Could she have a suspended or revoked license due to DUIs? I don't want to sound accusatory, but I would like to understand what issues DB might have with alcohol use and if this was a problem that should have received attention. jmo

But i just have to get this out and i'm home alone tonight.. or i'd vent to my daughter

1. Seriously, drinking while you have 3 kids under your care and one is not feeling well.
2. Next we'll here she had a 'seizure' from the drinking, thats why she doesn't remember (ala KC)
3. Thank goodness no pool in the backyard
4. KC is kicking herself now wishing SHE had thought of this.

UGH... this just makes me sicker....... Sorry if i offended anyone but as a single mom who struggled daily to work her azz off to make her daughters life the best possible, and losing a hubby to cancer at 40, i can't help but want to slap some sense into certain people.

Again, sorry.. just had to vent.

Still hoping above hopes for a safe return of Lisa...... I won't give up til we know for sure.:banghead:

BBM

Dad never took a poly.

You are probably right - I thought I heard NG say that on her show. Now that I think about it, I think I heard somewhere that the police said mom failed poly and dad did not need to take it. I wish he would .......

OK ... makes more sense now. I deleted my original comment as I am having a senior moment with anxiety! :blushing:

Lisa looked like a pretty big, robust child. Wouldn't the fall have to be pretty violent or from a pretty high place for it to kill her? I have seen yr old children fall from high chairs and flip themselves out of cribs, and get away with bad bruises and scrapes. It seems pretty rare for a 8 yr old to accidentally KILL an 11 month old child just by dropping them, imo.

I haven't formulated the specifics of how such an accident occurred, just the strong possibility that both parents could possibly feign the abduction to cover up for the actions of one of their older children. Hypothetically she also could have been hit in the head with a toy (such as bat, for example) they may have been playing with.

MOO

I thought dan was GMA? u mean CBS! I think CBS morning show in the tank now. lol. We might get lucky and not hear from them. Parents have done 3 interviews.

Fox,ABC and NBC . wow they must not like CBS! :innocent:

Didn't Bill Stanton say something to the effect, it isn't in their best interests to say anything, It may not be in Lisa's best interests, but it is in theirs or something similar?

This is all public relations and I think it is horrible public relations that is going on here. I hope there are lawyers involved with this all happening and with this PI making these types of statements.

I know what you mean JJ ,but before this people have been talking about how they were giving her a pass for that, lots of people talking about how soundly they sleep. It seemed strange, but this explains it without a shadow of a doubt. MOO

It sure does cc. No telling what Lisa's step siblings heard or saw that night. :(

Where is our lawyer guy? He will flip when he hears this.

imo

Can the KCPD demand that the children be interviewed with a parent or a lawyer present?

imo

If there is an arrest, and child protective services takes one or both of the boys, an interview will happen whether they like it or not.

Children are interviewed all the time without their parents when there is suspicion of abuse or neglect.

I'm starting to think she got rid of the child, for financial reasons.

The other two kids, being military dependants, bring in income.
Lisa did not. They actually had to pay for Lisa's healthcare, there was no extra payment from the military for her.

Money seems to be an issue with her; a divorce doesn't cost hardly anything, if it's uncontested. There's a certain level of immorality in DB's entire life. I don't see her being more upstanding in the care of her child(ren).

AND....if she was enthralled by other cases, she may have seen some parents as "heroes", and thought she could attain that status. Maybe speak out (like John Walsh), or be seen as a victim (getting donations, etc).

While I agree with part of what you said, I feel it's wrong for any of us to consider DBs life "immoral." Every human being lives their lives in whatever way they live them. Considering immorality is subjective at best when looking at anyone or any case.

Which brings up another question. The neighbor was supposedly her friend, and a mother herself. Would she have just left those kids alone with Debrah IF she was falling down drunk at the time?

It kind of makes me wonder if the neighbor might have taken the baby out of the crib for her own safety that night. Then what?

It sounds like something a friend might do to protect a baby.

Would the friend not give the baby back the next day though?

Surely the friend would have come forward with the baby by now because if she is hiding that baby or passed her on to someone else she is now an accessory to the crime...

That is not going to happen because LE can't now prove how much she drank and what sort of effect drinking has on her and amounts she can/can't tolerate - would never hold up in court at this late stage.
Respectfully shortened
She won't be arrest for child neglect. CPS will likely charge her with child neglect since she admitted that she was drunk and her baby is missing. CPS can come and take her child and Jeremy's and put them in foster care. CPS could also tell her that the children can stay with the grandparents, but she, and possibly Jeremy, must move out until their investigation is complete.

 Why do I get so emotionally invested in these cases. That poor precious baby girl. Where are you Lisa?

I feel the same way hon, I am really teary eyed. Hugs to you.
You get invested because you care and have a good heart.

I wonder the same thing. Mainly because it was the very first night that her hubby was going to be away all night. The fact that she took the very first opportunity to get drunk makes it seem a bit suspect. imoo
