argh I am still on a fence, I usually am till evidence is presented. I have not had time to watch any videos, but is it true that no one is asking for Lisas return?

They may have Peter A. says at the beginning of the segment they sat down for 45 min. interview!! We'll see!!:banghead:

IN the ABC interview JI says that DB had woken up when he got there and then they talked for a couple of minutes. He asked her what was going on and he told her about the lights and she jumped out of bed and then he realized something was wrong.

When he first got home he didn't realize Baby Lisa was gone.

I thought he said he went into the room to ask DB where is Lisa?

Waiting on ABC interview link.

iirc he said he got home and checked on the boys first than Lisa and noticed her missing in their very first interview with local media.... here it is: http://www.nbcactionnews.com/generic/news/Lisa-Irwin-AMBER-Alert you have to click on the link that says "thursday morning: lisa's parents speak with media"

interesting because he says first I checked on the boys and than "we" checked on Lisa and she was gone

The more that DB talks, the less convinced I become that she is not responsible for whatever happened to Lisa. Jeremy shouldn't be supporting her in this charade unless he, too, is involved. jmo

I'm beginning to think he's somehow involved. His story has changed regarding what he did first when he came home. He first said he checked on the kids, noticed Lisa wasn't in her crib and then woke DB up. He now is saying he woke DB up first because of all the light being on to ask her what was going on and then they checked on the kids together.

I did a doubletake about that...just in general but also becuz of all the posters here who have said this case is (so far) almost identical to the Hayleigh Cummings case.

Also, in this interview, Abrams asked what she would say if the person who is responsible for Lisa's disappearance was watching...all she said (apparently) was "She needs us" and "We need her". GEESH...that's all you would say?

Btw, it's been posted that there will be an announcement at 1pm about them hiring an attorney. Why am I not surprised.

While they are at it they can hang signs around their neck that read "We hired an attorney because we are indeed guilty".

HUGE fight on Twitter w/Dan Abrams. lol.

I really have to think about the "burned clothes" claim. DB at least knows what her child wore when she put her down. Did PD show her just random baby clothes that were burned? Did PD get the clothes out of Lisa's drawer? It really defies logic that PD would show the mom any burned clothes.

How childish to do this publicly:

danielabrams Dan Abrams
.@todayshow calls intvw with #babylisa parents exclusive? today.msnbc.msn.com/id/44927779/ns… I interviewed them for @gma so how can that be true?

maybe there are different, exclusive lies for each interview?

BBM
Maybe they (LE) did for identification purposes if nothing else!!:waitasec:

I agree with the poster (andalso, I think) who said this could explain why DB has given us all so differrent a feel in her interviews.

Many (not me sadly) have been hip to the fact that mom's not making any cohesive sense regarding timeline from interview to interview, thus appearing to have something to do with this. Many find her tears disingenuous. Still others see her as a genuinely distraught and confused mother who does not know what happened.

What if the deception many have picked up on (including LE it would seem) is the fact that mom has no clue what happened? What if the genuine distress is real?

How will we ever know WHAT happened if DB is unsure? Either because she has done something in a drunken haze or someone actually did come in and take Lisa.
Sigh. I am so upset by this news.

I also agree with the poster who says maybe DB is sleuthing like us, trying to fit pieces together. Would explain the story changes as she is filling in the gaps with suposition rather than fact. This is not good.

Man, I really wish the day were not starting this way.

Where are you little Lisa?

They didn't show her any burned clothes, according to her they told her they had found burned clothes.

For Goodness sake people, please remember this: even though WE are hearing all this for the first time, it doesn't mean that LE hasn't known about it since the first night.

As for the kids being interviewed, I would say ONLY with a lawyer in the room and ONLY if it was videotaped from beginning to end. It is an undeniable fact that children can be, and HAVE been, psychologically manipulated until they just say anything to get out of the situation. Another poster mentioned Kevin Fox's child. Google it - it is shameful what LE did to that little boy, and the emotional trauma to that poor kid is unthinkable.

bbm.....you're right. LE may have known all along and that's why they're still focused near their home. Just sayin.

There's nothing wrong with interviewing children. Not all LE are corrupt and we can't lump them all into one category. There are a few bad seeds. Doesn't mean they all are.

So 10:30 is when the neighbour went home that night. DB said she checked in Lisa but she can't say that she did at all (which means that she probably didn't). DB used the 10:30 time to sound responsible. Was it reported that DB was on the computer that night? Did she reprogram the phones that night?

Well I am officially off :fence:
- Put her to bed at 6:40...6:40?? She was drunk but is now able to pin the time down this accurately - what happened to 7:30?
- Hasn't talked to her kids about it - bull, the kids have to be asking about it, from the pictures I've seen, they adored Lisa. I'd let my kids be re-interviewed in a heartbeat if it would help find Lisa
- "something like that" - Something like what??
- She looks all around and closes her eyes all the time while answering questions - I guess the spontaneous sobs are not as easy now
- JI is not of this world - his wife got drunk on the night his baby disappears and he knows she would never do anything ... really?

IMO, Deborah Bradley knows exactly what happened to her baby.

I hate to coin such a common phrase from the Anthony story... but I think JI is "in denial"... and I'm not talking about a river in Egypt...

I'm on EST and they did not show it at 8:30 here.. They just did a segment on Michael Jackson

Maybe it's taped? Or does GMA run from 8-10 there? I just know what I saw :)

ETA: I'm sure I'm the one watching a taped show. I assume they show it live in your zone :)

DB probably didn't have time to ask her neighbor to lie, and most neighbors wouldn't lie anyway. So in all likelihood LE heard that story right off the bat. The neighbor is probably the only other "last person" to see her that night, and probably one of the first people they questioned.

I believe most LE has a trained psychologist to interview the children. They go out of their way to make sure they have it video taped and 3rd party to observe..So again, I would not have a problem if I'm innocent because if my baby is missing I'll do anything to help find them.
Well, for me, I really don't give a toss. LE would not have more than one interview with my 5 year old. They would not under any circumstances re-interview him to their heart's content.

If the public, or LE thought that made me look bad, again, I don't care in the least bit. My child would not have to endure that. Once is too much, IMO, but I'd do it if one of my other children were missing, just in case my 5 year old saw or heard something.

Really, MY life would be an open book to LE if one of my children went missing - my 5 year old is not an open book, and any member of LE or the public who had a problem with that, could go pound sand.

hard to believe what? That they had anything to do with it? Or to believe what they have to say?

He meant hard to believe they were involved. He did temper that with a comment about "of course, I could be wrong, I have been wrong on occasion in the past so that's just my feel for it" <paraphrasing>

They didn't show her any burned clothes, according to her they told her they had found burned clothes.

In the ABC interview, DB stated: "they showed me burnt clothes".

I just got finished re-watching the interview.

I thought DB told Dan Abrams that they showed her burned clothes. Am I not remembering that correctly?
