Re the computer search that only looked at the Mom's computer.

Where is that info? Is there a search warrant? Did they keep the computer to reaaly look at the files?

Why did they not search DR's computer?

I have looked and cannot find the info. BTW, I thought I knew all the Americans where I live. Or did you come here on a vacation? If so, let's meet up. I am at the internet cafe which you know has the slowest internet as well as it is down so often so I cannot promise we can search together

The information about his mothers computer being searched came from a very trust worthy source... but no link can be provided so take it for what it's worth. It also happened during a slip up on their part when I was emailing this person with very specific questions. I also know there are a couple others here that came across the same information.

My wife and I debated for about an hour the other day and we came to a mutual conclusion for that moment at least, that this latest heinrich stuff is nothing but smoke and mirrors before the real deal. A couple key points decided were-

1. The unreal location, spur of the moment trip.

3. DR turned it into a copycat crime, he worked at cold spring elementary, the rumor of this boogeyman was large and spread out for months. DR became the boogeyman.

4. Calling 911 at 1130 pm and acting like he didnt know le was in the area since 915 pm. After being entirely scared of the wood thieves, he searches for the armed kidnapper himself.

6. The not reporting the vehicles and going to sleep that night. He only reports the vehicles the next day when they come to his work.

7. The fact some items taken from his place were last said to be awaiting advancement in technology.

8. The boys were molested but how well does anyone know DR.

I think it's possible that DR enjoyed the limelight until it turned on him. Maybe he doesn't / didn't ever really have "more information". I don't know him, just speculating on human nature.

It is bizarre to me that this abduction just happened to occur in the driveway of a couple who were out of the country right then. Did they travel a lot? Were there often strange cars driving in and out of their driveway? (Rhetorical questions, really.)

And, truly, I don't think he thinks of himself that way, it just is how he appears. He laughs at the wrong times, he appears unconcerned at a time that most of us would be frantically trying to help. In his mind, he did what he could and then moved on. The same type of person that would spend a day cataloging his record collection, imo. At the very least he lives on a different plane than what I'm used to. He's musical / artistic, logical and somewhat analytical or at least organized. The kind of person who might react in the way he did without without being guilty, just seeming odd enough to warrant looking into. JMO.

Of course, everyone has their secrets too. IMO

ELOC and others such as with the Stearns Truth tapes looked for info as to who the abductor could be. I wonder if DR went on any kind of search as he felt for years, apparently, that he was being targeted ,although most people had not heard of him until 2010.

Lol. It seems more to me that he's tightrop walking the fence and starts trying to spin like a ballerina up there and so he comes crashing down on one side or another, never quite knowing where he will land. It's an interesting way to get conversation going, but effective too.

If we want to find info that leads to Jacob's abductor, we need that dissenting voice among us to pull us back a little in order to look at the big picture, not just focus on the newest greatest, maybe most obvious thing. Keep on, Sas. You only say truly goofy things once in a while; most of the time you're only bringing the bigger picture in, and that's good. Although I enjoy the goofy just as much.:fence:
