1. Does anyone know if Allison's girls were questioned by police, surely if people in neighbouring properties heard "blood curdling screams" coming from the BC house at least one of the 3 girls heard something?

2. When TM said she won't be made feel guilty for Allison being missing I truly believe she thought she was talking about a wife taking off and giving her husband something to think about, I really don't think she anticipate the horrible outcome when she made that comment. Of course she must feel guilt, anyone who knew about the affair would feel guilt, anyone who knew Allison was struggling within her marriage would feel guilt. Everyone would be asking themselves "what could I have done to prevent Allison's murder"

3. I think despite all the evidence in the world if my sibling was accused of something so terrible, I think it would be hard to see. Your mind wouldn't believe it, so you wouldn't see it. Just think of someone you love and trust being in GBC's shoes, the whole world may know what he did, but I think unless they said it with their own mouth for you to hear with your own, it could be next to impossible to believe. Could your mother, father, sister, brother or child commit murder, a person you trust a love. No! Most people on this Earth are trusted and loved by someone, but there are an awful lot of murders out there. I'm sure OW is not the first person to be deluded by the idea of who they truly believe their loved one to be V who is really is. I think she 'could' be forgiven for blindly standing by her brother despite him stinking like a rat. I don't think you are a liar unless you genuinely know you are lying.

All moo, obviously.

What do you think about the mark under the right armpit BJ?

Well I'm wondering if there was a railing on their back porch. It looks like he's leaned over something while holding something heavy. It could be from leaning over the rail at Kholo too.

Channel 9 have completed quite a long interview with OW at her parent's home in Kenmore, which no doubt will go to air tonight.

Looking forward to it. Maybe she will reveal some of the "truth" she was talking about earlier. It's a shame her brother can't also reveal what he knows.

Just a thought about TM believing he was innocent. When they met up in Fortitude Valley units a week after Allison was reported missing, given what I imagine they were up to how could she possibly believe innocence with all those bruises on his chest? Maybe when all she knew of were the facial scratches but when you add them to all the others? Nup.

A laugh for everyone , i have been on everyday for the hearing and only learnt today how to use the refresh button, bet that appeals to you Bayside

Hi All,
I'm sure you've already heard most of what went on today, but I just want to add my thoughts on it.

It was standing room only today, with a lot of new faces. OW was in the court room again, occupying her usual seat, talking to defence and she even had a word with the security watching over GBC. Not sure are they the bailiffs?

Things progressed really quickly today with only the phone cross and the two police officers. Nothing new was added from the police, it was just Davis asking basic questions.

There were a total of 29 photos taken of GBC, 6 on the 20/4 and 23 on the 21/4, 7 of those we were shown in the courtroom which are those released.

When the charges were read out I noticed GBC shake his head to the charge of murder, but I saw no reaction from him to the charge of interferring with a corpse and he answered in a clear voice when the judge asked how does he plead " I am not guilty your honour".

OW did have a few support people with her today. After her few brief words to the media, I followed her for a short distance, just until she went to the Coffee Club with her friends. She didn't seem to be in any visible distress, I heard the group have a little laugh as I walked past them.

Some of Allison's family were understandably overcome with emotion and I think very relieved.

I think it was a great relief to hear the verdict and I'm pleased with the outcome as were most of the people who were sitting near me as someone commented that 'blind freddy new he was guilty'.

Now we just have to wait for the trial.

The police must have spoken to the children at some stage as they knew that they had been "debriefed" by GBC and mentioned it in the bail documents.

I somehow think TM lives within her own little world where only she matters, her needs above anyone else. She seemed to hold no remorse at all at what happened to poor Allison, nor even thought that perhaps GBC may have been upset by it - she just carried on. They both seem to display socipathetic tendancies - being interested in the world only from their own perspective with little reagrd for the feelings of others, including their own children. I am not surprised that they got on so well together actually, each sucking their own gratification from each other.

OW - someone has to be in GBCs court now, his parents seem to have distanced themselves. I can understand her support, but can also guarantee that when she is staring at him is is actually asking herself, could he have.................

I hope OW isn't going to start hawking herself around and being paid for media interviews to fund GBC's defense.

11.27am: Gerard Baden-Clay's sister Olivia Walton briefly addressed the media outside court.

''I still believe my brother is an innocent man,'' she said.

''And I will continue to support him."

Innocent ... until PROVEN guilty, perhaps.

On trial now for the murder of his wife after six days of intense deliberation.

Remember, that this an especially grave murder because of the natural bond of a marriage which it broke.

What about Olivia W''s nieces - they are TRULY innocent and they need her 'support' as well.

They, perhaps more than anyone, need to know the truth about what happened to Allison, terrible though it might be.

I think that all of this has yet to really sink into OW's consciousness. In years to come, I hope her own children will not remember this time as the time they lost their mother's focus or support.

Any MSM who pays for interviews with any of the BC's should be ashamed of themselves. Would they have done so with the family of Jill Meagher's accused killer? No! Because it would be disrespectful to the victim.

I know people want the truth and they want to know as much information as possible, but given the current situation, they should be steering clear of the BC vultures and showing some respect for Allison and the Dickies.

It is interesting that Davis has said that he thinks he (team GBC) has made a dent in the prosecutions case - from the evidence that I heard presented - I think his pointed questions and probing of experts and witnesses did little more than leave him scratching his head at where he could mount his next challenge.

Davis was constantly asking for the papers and documents that were the background on the technical stuff like the toxicology and the police log book details- I think it was in the hope that one of the expert witnesses had made a mistake or overlooked a marginal fact. Davis really struggled to make any point or ground with the toxicologist, tho Prof Drummer conceded that while the levels of sertraline he measured in Allisons body were not indicative of someone taking an overdose; as the body decomposes the redistribution of the drug makes if more difficult to develop an accurate level of the drug at time of death particularly after 11 days.

I would love to know how both sides are PRIVATELY feeling about the trial. Who is nervous? Who is confident? Does the prosecution have more up their sleeve or are they crapping themselves because they've played their best cards? OR vice versa.

I'm really nervous about the trial. The fact that Mahoney said they believed they had significantly weakened the case and Davis was looking forward to the trial worries me. Wonder what they have up their sleeve or do they have a damn good poker face?

How is everyone thinking it will go? I really don't know what to think tbh. Hard to know how convincing Davis will be and how compelling the crown case will be in comparison....

Thoughts?
Just posturing. That's what defence barristers do.

Somehow I dont think TM is stupid enough to be involved covering up a murder . I could see her being tense in the dock , facing your ex lover and getting grilled about afairs etc , all of this for the whole world to see or read about

I wonder if she hasn't already implicated herself somehow.

From what was said in court, TM seemed to be the one interested in rekindling the passion, she was obviously besotted by him. GBC was getting the best of both worlds except financially he was up one very murky creek.

When the cahrge of murder was read today and he said "Not guilty, Your Honour" , I think he believes that he isn't guilty. He may recall that he killed Allison but GBC believes it was Allison fault, she wouldn't do as she was told, she was pushing him too hard, whatever, I think in his won mind, Gerard believes Allison died because she inflammed the situation and wouldn't do what he wanted to placate him and /or Toni. I am not a doctor but I truly think that Gerard has some personality and/or mental issues.
