I was just called in for my radiation treatment for BC, it was nice to lie back and be zapped with a smile on my face. :great:

Toe, that we got this good news today exactly 11 months since Allison was reported 'missing' must be a good coincidence.
I hope your treatment is similarly successful. Stay positive. Many hugs of strength to you.

"I am not guilty, Your Honour" ... I think he really believes this! He believes it because in his own twisted mind, he did not killer her. It's my impression that Allison died as a result of a heated argument, manhandling, etc. and she hit her head (blood in car evidence). If he would have strangled her, I don't think there would have been any blood. Same if he would have suffocated her. He sees it as an "accident" ... IMO.
totally agree

I wonder how many more piggy banks full of pocket change the Baden-Clay clan will have to raid in order to keep Peter Davis in their corner for the upcoming trial?

Maybe they'll have to switch to a Silk who's rates are a little easier on the hip pocket?

aren't silks more expensive than barristers? I thought the progression was Barrister SILK QC? But I am a bit of illegal illiterate and rely way too much on Alioops to keep me on the straight and narrow!

In the Guiness Book of Records the Castor Oil plant is listed as the most poisonous plant in the world if ingested. What about falling in one? Would that cause a rash like the one on GBC's chest. There is plenty of them at Kholo Bridge.

Pity it didn't fall down his throat.

Castor Oil Plant

Special note: The seeds of this plant are the EXTREMELY TOXIC and may cause an allergic skin reaction on contact and may be LETHAL if swallowed.

schools have a duty of care to provide a safe environment for kids so even if this was a rash due to Castor Oil plant - I doubt it occurre anywhere near Brookfield State School. Any poisonous plants would be removed by ED Qld.

A Silk is a "Senior Counsel" (new name for "Queen's Counsel"). Correct me if I'm wrong but Peter David is a Senior Counsel, right?

(A Senior Counsel is an extremely experienced, highly regarded Barrister who has applied for and given the rank of "S.C" by the Bar Association).

Unless he knocked her over, she hit her head, then he strangled her while she was on the ground.

Thanks Marlywings! I remember wondering aloud here if Allison was poisoned with it, due to the chipped tooth. I'm sure Dr Watson said it would be too dangerous to grind them up and make a solution with them but they may have caused that irritation.

So he doesn't wear his wig and get up in Mags court?

My 'thanks' button was not working earlier today and although I don't post much, just wanted to let everyone know how much I value all opinions. Without individual (and differing) opinions and theories from members, there wouldn't be much to discuss.

Sounding like a broken record I'm sure, but mean this sincerely, - Thank you to all that attended court, posted tweets and offered their opinions.

Lots of white light to Allison and her girls!!

Great result today. Just cross your fingers that the jury turn out to be intelligent. I've seen too many crazy ,stupid jury decisions to ever feel confident they will get it right.
All the defence has to do is create reasonable doubt and this Davis is no slug.
I always say if I was innocent of a crime I'd want to be tried by a judge and if guilty I'd take my chances with a jury.
PS good to see you around Keen To Know.

OK -so the thinking is that he was allegedly exposed to Castor Oil plants at Kholo? Has anyone tried to get a rash from Castor Oil plants through material -cause I think the extent of an exposure rash would be quite limited through clothing..... and BTW there is no way I am trying to defend him here. And I can't see him going to Kholo without clothing!

I think it is just more likely that those injuries had nothing to do with plants and all to do with Allison defending herself and fighting for her life.
