Daydreams

The woman was crazy...she believed that JonBenet was not a separate person but an extension of herself.

That is so true. And that's what caused that train to derail.

Thanks for sharing, Shiloh! Are there any more gems like that or was that it?

There's always more.

From the portions that have been edited out of that particular transcript, these stand out to me the most:

JR: Well, we were fortunate from almost the moment we found the note to be surrounded by friends, our minister, our family doctor, a personal friend of mine who is also an attorney, and uh, we relied on their guidance almost from that moment on ... and my friend suggested that it would be foolish not to have knowledgeable counsel to help both us and with the investigation, and we accepted that advice.

********

JR: We've shared all of our thoughts with the police and we have no answer. [Really, John? At what point in time did that happen?]

********
Cabell: And if you go back to Boulder and they want to sit down with you, and talk and ask some accusatory questions, you're not going to be offended by that?

JR: No. No. We're ready now to get this resolved. It's got to be resolved for us to go on with our lives, to continue with the grieving process. That's now what we're dedicated and committed to doing. ...

********
Cabell: When you return to Boulder you will sit down with the Boulder police?

JR: Absolutely. We want them to know everything possible.

PR: Everything. Whatever they want, whatever anyone wants we will cooperate.

*******

PR: She loved her daddy.. She loved her daddy, she was daddy's girl.

[This probably doesn't stand out to other people, but that phrase "daddy's girl" always gets to me.]

Cabell: When you return to Boulder you will sit down with the Boulder police?

JR: Absolutely. We want them to know everything possible.

PR: Everything. Whatever they want, whatever anyone wants we will cooperate.

:liar:

Had it not taken them over four months to do so, I'd have an easier time listening to their version of events. I still wouldn't have bought it though as Patsy practically signed the Ransom Note.

No argument with what I've got. You know, they did a mental profile of her a while back. It was not good!

Jonbenet made a lot of strange statements for a six year old...whether she actually spoke these words is anybodies guess...maybe the adults retelling her story have reshaped her words.
I am guessing the adults in JonBenet's life streched the truth a little too, such as the stories the Landscaper told saying Jonbenet asked "Do roses know their thorns can hurt?" and asking questions like "What is a year?"
His answer: "That's the length of time it takes for the earth to make one trip all around the sun."
JonBenet: "So I've been around the sun five times?"

At times Patsy said that JonBenet would listen to adults talk and actually join in on their conversation.
I think after JonBenet died everyone just wanted to see her as the perfect, smart extraordinary child.

Shiloh...you are just a fountain of information. The things you have brought to this forum in a short time, is really amazing...and very interesting.

I remember thinking how horrible for JonBenet and the Ramsey's. I also remember hearing about the ransom note (and the beheading if they talked to a stray dog). This one thing they did-inviting all those people over that morning-was when the worm turned for me. What person would find out their kid was kidnapped, and then invite everyone over, knowing that the note said the kidnapper would kill JonBenet if they did this.

Patsy=Sybil....imo

Boy, that seems to hit the nail on the head.

Not only did they disregard the dire warning in the note, but they sent their other child out to go to someone else's house supposedly thinking there were kidnappers closely watching their house.

That was either parents who didn't care about the safety of their children at all, or parents who knew there were never any kidnappers.

Thats what I cant understand...the Rams seemed to have no fear for their other children..no fear of the note..no fear for Burke ...no fear for JBR whom at this stage was persumed to be alive and held for ransom.

Exactly why suspicion fell upon them, dingo. One of several reasons, I guess.

That's right...I forgot about Bruke being shuffled off. I don't recall if the police even talked to Burke that morning. They knew there weren't any kidnappers...

Remember Patsy's statement (I think she said this)...Hold your babies close. I guess she wasn't too worried about Burke.

Tell me more about the profile Dave.

I'll do better than that, Solace. I'll let you read it yourself. If you go here:

http://jonbenetramsey.pbwiki.com/Ramsey Did It Theories

and scroll to where it says:

"Dale Yeager, executive director of Seraph, a firm asked by BPD to analyze the ransom note, has publicly stated that Patsy Ramsey is a sociopath who both abused JBR and killed her." there's a clickable link there.

There's more, but that's the big one.

Seraph, that's all I need to know. I don't need to read any further after seeing that name. I have never read such ridiculousness in all my life as their analysis of the ransom note. (No disrespect to you intended at all, SuperDave, but really.)

shiloh, I merely complied with a request. I never said anyone had to agree with it.

Personally, I don't know much about SERAPH at all.
