Teen suspects in Capitol Hill intern's murder held without bond as police search for third
The two 17-year-olds accused of murdering a 21-year-old intern on Capitol Hill are being held without bond while investigators search for a third suspect.
Kelvin Thomas Jr. and Jailen Lucas were arrested on Friday, September 6, on first-degree murder charges while armed. They appeared in court on Saturday afternoon.
Both are being charged as adults. Eric Tarpinian-Jachym, a college student from Massachusetts, was struck in that shootout while simply walking down the street.
