The latest vehicle he was using was found in Virginia. The FBI are involved and they obviously know much more than we do. I have no doubt Tatum was the last to have Relisha; all the facts in between and up until now are what's murky.

One article said he gave her gifts, yet I found where he was being evicted from his home.. he couldn't even afford his rent. On the mom's FB, you can tell she is overwhelmed at raising kids and that is all I will say about that.. you can see her FB and judge for yourself. But to me, it looks like the mom actually had some sort of hand in all this to say the least. I am very sad for all those kids and especially Relisha. I hope she is found soon!! It scares me that he has killed his wife so brutally and now is on the run with the little girl, knowing he is being sought after. He is desperate.

I was thinking about the gifts earlier. He was a janitor , at least briefly, at a homeless shelter , correct? I'd imagine that pays little, if anything. If Relisha's family were homeless, then very inexpensive ' gifts' would be treasures. I was thinking of a candy bar or a gum ball machine trinket,, just little tiny things because I figured he was broke. But could be he was lavishing her with expensive gifts. Who knows

Well. After seeing the mothers facebook I have a lot to say.. are we allowed to discuss the mother? Or no because she's not considered a suspect? Sigh, this is gonna be difficult since she's the one who just "gave" the child away. I'll just say, I really hope this little girl wasn't sold. lease:

Living in a homeless shelter, there are just some things you shouldn't be spending money on when you have 4 children. Or 5. Or whatever the heck is going on.:tantrum:

I agree 100 % . However, acts of kindness towards a child from a person who is NOT a pervert, are simply acts of kindness, right? I'm just speculating. The other person who is a ' known sex offender' has me worried. Is LE saying Tatum is the known sex offender? What is the criteria for a ' known sex offender' . If they were convicted and registered, wouldn't they call that person an RSO and if they believe shes' with RSO , why not release that person's name and picture?

ETA I think to know what a known sex offender is when LE says it is important. They cannot say that about someone whos' been accused of a sex crime because of innocent until proven guilty and it might be slander or something? When they say " and a known sex offender'' , maybe they are not talking about a second person , but the same person, Tatum. What is a person listed as immediately after being found guilty of a sex crime but prior to registering? Sometimes they don't make them register as a sex offender until after a release from prison so , there could be a period of time, days, weeks ( longer if they fled ) before they are technically ' registered'.

Could it be someone who was convicted of a sex crime before it was a requirement to register? I think I remember reading something like that recently. It might apply to some older offenders.

Found the fb .. wasn't as hard as I was thinking it was. Anyway, I don't think she was in the hospital having another child - per photos from a month or two prior.

I wish we could discuss this case more.

At about 8:00 am Thursday, patrol officers were asked to respond to the motel to assist the Metropolitan Police Department in its search for a missing eight-year-old girl, Relisha Tenau Rudd. While at the motel, the patrol officers discovered Tatum suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead on the scene.

The PGPD recovered a pick-up truck that was unoccupied and parked in the 1600 block of Eastern Avenue in Chapel Oaks on Thursday, March 20, 2014, at about 7 pm. The truck was mentioned in the MPD Amber Alert.

I am really not feeling good about ANY of this! mom doesn't talk at all about her daughter missing and this random stranger has her kid?!

He has had her for almost a month. I think it's already too late. I hope I'm wrong, obviously, but this doesn't look good.
