Press Conference:

Last seen March 1st with Tatum.
March 2nd, Tatum purchased heavy duty trash bags.

Not long after that purchase he was in the area of the aquatic gardens.
Relisha hasn't been seen since March 1st.
Tatum continued to be seen until March 20.

After the homicide of his wife on March 20, there have been no other sightings of Tatum.
While searching the aquatic gardens for Relisha, others are searching for Tatum.
The search at the aquatic gardens is a recovery effort, but we haven't given up hope of finding her.

The sightings on March 7 at the school are not reliable, last confirmed sighting is March 1st.
They cannot ignore the possibility that he may have killed Relisha.

If you aren't able to listen, Relisha was LAST seen *per LE presser* was March 1st. Tatum still went to work.

On the 2nd of March, Tatum bought contractor sized trash bags and was in the area they are searching right now. The lady officer stated they don't want to give up hope but this is a recovery mission - but not 100% because they are holding out hope.

Because Mom said Relisha was not abducted they could only issue the Amber Alert in their jurisdiction.

They pushed the Amber Alert out across the country... so it was not ISSUED in other states but they knew about it.

Focus is on finding Relisha (in response to reporter asking about any possible charges for mother).

February 26th Relisha seen at the hotel. uke:
Last sighting of Relisha on March 1st with Tatum in the District of Columbia.
When Tatum bought the trash bags Relisha was not with him.
Relisha was not seen after March 1st.
Tatum spent a period of time in this area after buying trash bags.

Are they going to charge the mother?
Right now the priority is to find Relisha, there is an active investigation going on.
Dozens are out working on the investigative pieces.
Charges for anyone down the road, we'll talk about after we find Relisha.
