Omg. In that video, the reporter said SY said RR was in the care of her mother and sister when she disappeared! The reporter contacted grandma and sis and they said not true.

Police Resuming Search Of Park, Concede Relisha Rudd May Be Dead

...The search was suspended Thursday night after police and FBI agents combed the area for more than 12 hours. Two helicopters and K-9 units were among the significant law enforcement contingent searching for the girl.....

I think the writing is on the wall for some folks.

So this is what angers me but also brings into question exactly what did happen? Despite reading timelines and articles, I had assumed that when she reached the max number of absences, she was already with Tatum. But that didn't happen until after the school contacted the mom.

- the school contacts the mom about absences
- then mom gives Relisha to Tatum
- Tatum takes her to hotel
- Tatum buys bags, shovel, lime
- THEN mom goes in for meeting

If she had just sent her back to school, she would probably still be with us today. Why was she out already? Why didn't they want her back at school?

I'm with you. After mom said she spoke with Relisha by phone, then a day or so later Grandma said she did, too. I'm not buying it. I don't think they talked to her by phone... I think LE knows it which is why they're discounting it as far as the last time they know Relisha was seen (March 1).

LE knew what mom/grandma didn't know: Tatum more than likely buried Relisha in Kenilworth Park the evening of March 2 when he spent 2 hrs there. So when they said they talked to her by phone on March 17, LE probably just sat back and listened. They surely checked phone records also.

well, I certainly cannot fault that thinking at all! I was just wondering if could be possible she was was being lied to as well as mom's sister as they seem to not have a clue what was going on even when interviewed by JVM.. it just seems like they are just repeating, perhaps, what they were "told" by mom? idk...

But there was something else, I think. I believe that something about that phone call from the school on 2/25 to come in for meeting triggered Shamika to give Relisha to Tatum on 2/26.

What was it, though?

ETA --- I think in the photo on 2/26, her face looked puffy and 'not right'. Something was already up with Relisha, and they gave her to Tatum to hide whatever it was from the school if they came sniffing around the shelter, IMO.

Pure speculation - I wonder if SY vented to Tatum about the school calling her. I'm sure she was mad as you-know-what. It was then that Tatum offered to care for Relisha and smooth over the school situation for her by pretending to be Re's doctor for her headaches.

nvestigators say Tatum posed as a doctor March 10, telling city officials who were concerned for her safety that Relisha was sick with a neurological disorder, and undergoing treatment. When they asked for documents, "Dr. Tatum" said he would leave them behind at the shelter where Relisha and her mother lived.

When officials came to the shelter March 19 to pick up the paperwork, they couldn't find "Dr. Tatum" or Relisha. Shortly after, a missing persons report with D.C. Police was filed.

Reading all of these posts and straight maddening interviews with her momster and mean-maw, does this child have ANYONE that cares??!! She is such a beautiful little girl. UGH....makes me sick!

I get nauseated when I read that this is a recovery operation. I want our little girl found, safe and none the worse for the wear. I am holding onto hope until we are told otherwise. Someone had mentioned up-thread what if Tatum was the one buried in that park. What a bizarre twist that would be. I know this is awful, but part of me wants that to be true, but then I think if they catch him he might just tell us where our girl is if say, the death penalty is on the table? Does that make sense? My thoughts are just all over the place. I just want this poor baby girl to have a chance at life, and if she is already gone, then she deserves a proper burial where people who truly cared and loved her can say goodbye. Ugh, makes me want to cry just typing that
