I just listened to the news. Really nothing new. LE spent about 5 hours in the motel room (not rooms) looking for evidence. Would not comment if anything was found. More updates and 10:00 and 11:00 p.m.

I see what you mean now - so the one on the far right is opening the door and the other two are waiting over on the left. when I first looked - I assumed the two on the left were checking that one room and the person on the right was opening that door.

I don't think so. It looks like the one on the right is looking up and the middle one is looking down and the one on the left is looking on his phone or something? Anyone else?

I think her circumstances were so horrible no matter where she was in life
But she was with him, regardless of the other things that went on, she got treats and presents. For all we know his role was that of doting 'grandfather' all of the times she went with him until the very end. She may have had no reason to ' fear' him . It's so disturbing how comfortable she is with him. That makes me think the grooming phase went on a long time and during that time , she was out of the shelter and getting treated to nice things and thought she was in the company of a good friend .

Agree. I cant get the video of all the Children dancing out of my head. Somewhere to the side is I assume Stepdad. He has one of the little one's by the arm and appears to push him away. All the Children stopped dancing at that point and were looking at him. It broke my heart. I wonder what he said or indicated to those little one's to grab their full attention. It looked like fear to me :tantrum:

I'm off on Monday and might go wander around DC just to kind of do some site stalking, since I'm local. Is there anything in particular anyone wants photos/details of? If the weather wasn't so nasty this weekend, I'd go tomorrow, too.

You don't wanna be wandering around any of the areas that have been relevant in this case. Trust me.

ETA, I just want to clarify, I'm not being nasty or flippant, I'm quite serious. I wouldn't even drive in those areas.

My guess is that he just didn't want to be running around with a little girl. I am still not completely convinced that Relisha is gone. Maybe it's the mom in me. I just want our sweet little girl home! NOW!!!!

She was never precious to him. If he'd do the things that I'm pretty sure he did to her, what does he care if he feels he need to kill her? She deserves so much better than anything she's gotten out of life. This is so unfair and it just plain out sucks. I've followed along since the beginning but didn't have ( and still don't have ) anything to add that you amazing people haven't found or thought of.

I was looking at the gma's pics earlier on SM. It is amazing how much time these people spend in motels and hotels. I don't know about anyone else, but the only time my family goes to a hotel is when we are visiting out of town, vacationing, etc. These people seem to just decide "hey, let's all go to a hotel!" on a whim. What is up with that??

I'm embarassed to say this, but I have had to live in these" week by week motel" but it was in a good area ( Livonvia Mi)It was a Day's Inn, but very nice, no crime, maybe drugs????????. Very nice people, went to a Easter BarQ there at a room redisence's invite. None of them were interesterd in sex, they worked all day.Had everything I needed laundry, ice machine, maid service, nice neighbors, internet(free) fridge, microwave, front desk service, great resturant with a bar 50 feet away, alittle over priced until I found a place to find contentment. BUT I called the cops 1 night because a woman was screaming help me and the big fight next door. It was a very quiet, place mostly, except for that. They got booted.


If a little girl and man checked into a Holiday Inn, my red flags would have have been all over the place. I'm paranoid like that.:facepalm:

I wanted to check out reviews of the hotel and if that is the one where TKs wife was found - reviews are either really good or really really bad. here is one from 2012 and I am looking for more recent ones but wanted to confirm addresses ...

We wanted something cheap that would take pets. We were planning to take our 1 year old daughter to see the sites in DC. We arrived kind late (10PM) due to traffic and were horrified at the hotel. As we pulled in we noticed several doors open to rooms with many people sitting inside drinking. It appears this may be a party hotel. After we checked in we went to the room. It was filthy. The carpets had not been vacuumed. There appeared to be vomit on the wall. I went to the desk clerk and asked for another room. In addition to not being vacuumed, this room had what appeared to be fairly new blood on the floor. That's it, we checked out. The clerk was nice about. We went down the road to a Best Western.

Just one more thing that has been really bothering me.... that interview with Shamika Young, mother- the interviewer asked her why she never reported her missing and she says because she didnt want to lose her other 3 kids. This filing would have happened before any of us even heard about Relisha! That means she already knew she lost Relisha! And had something to do with it enough that she would "lose" her other kids.
