DC DC - Relisha Tenau Rudd, 8, SE DC, 26 Feb 2014 - #3

this case has me so confused.

March 1 Relisha is last seen alive, int he company of Tatum in an unidentified DC hotel.
March 2 Tatum is in the park for two hours per cell phone pings after having purchased industrial garbage bags, shovel, lime, etc.
March 20 Tatum's wife is found dead in Red Roof hotel room in Prince George
tatum was also seen out and about around DC up til March 20.
So at some point on or after the 20th Tatum returned to the park he spent hours at on the 2nd and possibly disposed of possibly dead Relisha at only to kill himself?

None of this is adding up for me.

And what building was the body found in? Is it one the public had access to? Because it seems very odd to me that he has been there for very long if this building was publicly accessible and there has been searching going on there for days for Relisha KWIM?

I need to know where that body was found. In some janitor closet little used utility room or somewhere public could access. If a non accessible place how did HE access it?

So many questions.

bbm - This reminds me of the Breeann Rodriguez case! Shawn Morgan placed evidence, on more than one occasion IIRC, in areas that he knew had already been searched. I may be wrong, but did I read that although LE had dive teams in the area of Kenilworth Park/Aquatic Gardens area, they had halted the ground search over the weekend due to weather?? If so, maybe the belief was "well they're done here, seems like a good time and place...."

Thanks all for the updates. I was out of town all day. Please find Relisha lease: IMO if he killed himself I don't think we will find the little angel alive. Also based on what Tatum bought. I pray she is in the park and found. If she is alive god knows what horrors she has suffered. Again given that he offed himself I don't think she is far from him. Sadly.

I see what you are saying. But what puzzles me is. If in the frame of mind to do oneself in, why run the risk of going anywhere near an area where active searches are taking place?

If you are resigned to leaving this life and you have FBI and LE are looking for you for one possibly two murders. Why there? Why then?

I want to know how he had access to this building. Because the first thing you are doing as LE agency is looking for this murder/kidnap suspect in places he is known to frequent or have access to.

There is a lot more to learn about this man.

There is much more to this story.

And I am losing hope of ever finding Relisha, alive or not.

Another reference to "playing with his granddaughter" .
No where have we seen anything to back up Tatum had a granddaughter.
If there was another child that Tatum had, who referred to him as grandfather, then who and where is she.

Did someone else "give" there child to this man? Is there another child that has not been reported missing. I hope the school system is checking the whereabouts of all girls and boys that had extensive days missing, or where withdrawn from the school system to make sure that they actually were enrolled in the school that they were suppose to go to.

I have nothing to back this up but all along when the issue of a Granddaughter playing with Relisha came up I believe/d it was just something "Mom" said IMO.
