Someone was mentioning lime earlier. Remember, it was bought at Home Depot. You can search their website for the types they carry. Off the top of my head, I can think of 3 types. One for mason work/concrete/brick laying, one for lawns, and there is one for making cucumbers or pickling, called pickling lime. Not sure what the chemical difference is in the three.

One for mason work/concrete/brick laying, one for lawns, and there is one for making cucumbers or pickling, called pickling lime. Not sure what the chemical difference is in the three.

When you searched their website, were you looking at the things in the store vs things online?

Hey guys, why would they need a backhoe?

A backhoe digs in the back and it also has a front thing that scoops up things.

They can use the "front thing" (loader) to lift or move heavy objects like a log or fallen tree trunk. The scoop in the back is used for the more obvious task of opening up a hole in the ground or digging a trench.

I did an in-store search of the Home Depot store location where klt was seen, and came up with three possibilities (IMO) for the lime purchases:

Sorry the link is a little lighthearted, but it does give a clear, non-technical explanation about why all types of lime preserves bodies. The idea it destroys them was discredited at least a century ago, so it always amazes me that it still has currency.

It is fortunate it has though because many criminals have unwittingly helped preserve evidence of their crime through this belief. Whichever type is used, it hampers natural decomposition. If Relisha is also wrapped in several bags, it is quite possible she will be well preserved - though I think surface evidence may be damaged.

Interestingly, the possibility exists that klt could have ordered online and picked up the lime at the store. It depends on how much time he had (online orders have to be processed, and that's a gray area, IMVHO).

The 2nd post was online, but with the same "home store" location - allowing for the possibility of an in-store pick up of the items.

I remember the address only because I mapped the wrong address for the DC Shelter when the case 1st broke, and had to modify my 1st map from the NE address to the SE DC address.

However, another Days Inn guest who did not want to go on-camera told ABC7 he did see Relisha Rudd - not there at the hotel, but at the Virginia Williams Homeless Center on Rhode Island Avenue NE, around the 1st or 2nd of this month.
The guest said the homeless center is also where he bumped into Kahlil Tatum. Interestingly, the center is just across the street from the Home Depot store where Tatum reportedly purchased large, industrial-sized garbage bags.

Took me awhile to catch up. I think its lye they use to dispose bodies and not lime. We have ran across vats of lye in other cases.
