I guess it would depend on the buyer. One would have to assume a person is of substantially more value than drugs or other illegal trades and a child of that age would be a rarity.

I detest people who prey on children. GRRRRR!

I just wish I knew why LE was so sure there isn't some other(s) involved. Why are they so sure ostensibly immediately after each discovery of each body that the shooter was Tatum?

ITA. I am starting to believe that Relisha was sold. Either for an illegal adoption or to pedophile ring. Once Relisha's disappearance hit MSM, the buyers got rid of the main players. And then the buyers slithered back into their deep, dark underground. This is MOO and just a theory.

I wonder what the snow days off were in that area? In one interview, one of the Grandmas was quoted as saying she asked about Relisha, and he said he was keeping her longer. They were out of school that day because it had snowed.

When the case first broke, it was claimed Feb.26th was when Relisha was given to Tatum. We then saw the hotel video from that day, and Grandma Young/Turner stated he had picked Relisha up that day to go to a pool party, and that's why they were at the hotel. BUT, we hadn't heard about a pool party until after the video was released. Then we hear about him buying her a bathing suit, and he brought the bathing suit back to the family. I believe March 1st is when the bathing suit was given to the family, no idea when FBI became of it. DNA testing should show if Relisha ever wore it, and if it was ever in pool water. BUT, at this point, I don't know if they'll test it!

Personally, there is no amount of money in the world that would make me give my child to any man. NONE! I've been without work, money, etc. but never homeless, and always had family to turn if I needed help. So I've not lived the same life as this family, nor the same environment. I'm NOT excusing the behaviors at all. I'm just stating I've never been in their situation, but I still can't imagine any amount of money clouding my judgement this much. I'd try to sell myself first.

I remember the weather very well from march 1st.It was very cold.March 2nd I was in Virginia and big buzzard like birds were across the street.It really freaked me out.It was suppose to be a big snow storm that night and there was and there was no school for my children the next day.I write in my journal every day.

Grandma certainly put herself present at some key moments! She is involved with the fake Dr Tatum cover up with the school. She places herself as the pick up/ drop off for the alleged pool party. She says she spoke to Relisha on the 19th about eggs for breakfast. It really isn't beyond impossible, with SY's obvious drug problem that this could be done without her knowledge. Not letting SY off the hook by any means, it is all very very shady. MOO of course.

This article is a wonderful and poignant piece of journalism. Someone really dug and did some great research, getting into the heart of this precious little girl. Yes, Kleenex were a must.

Sometimes I believe SY more than the g'mother, but I'd saying there's something very fishy about this:

Relisha’s grandmother Melissa Young, who signed Relisha up for Girl Scouts and laughs about how she ate more shortbread cookies than she sold, now questions why the shelter staff didn’t notice that her granddaughter was gone. All I can say is "Wow". I had a feeling that SY's mothering habit was a learned behavior or maybe the continued cycled. Some break it...some can't.... just sad.

That's what I read too....poor baby girl. I would take her in a heartbeat and I have 4 children of my own. I might not be able to afford Helly's but I can afford all the love that her little heart could handle and kids would make you feel like a princess every day. By my faith, I believe everything thing happens for a reason. With all my soul, I want Relisha to be alive so please let the reason of her not being here is only ...her needing a safe place to escape from the madness and neglect. i have so much to say I don't know where to begin. This was not found by me but posted on the HFRR page b someone else. I guess it is RL in the middle, but he does look similar to the video! Also, someone commented that they thought it was KT and Relisha on the escalator behind him since you can see a brightly colored (purple/ blue) coat on there. Very interesting!
